When ICT won at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in December, I recall that part of the ruling was that Marius had to pay ICT's costs - which could have amounted to tens of thousands. I suspect that a big part of the agreement now reached will be that ICT do not pursue him for those costs in return for him not pursuing the employment law case at Inverness Sheriff Court. CaleyD might be right that nobody comes out of this looking good, but the facts that will go down in the history books are that Marius claimed he was owed money by ICT, but failed to prove anything, and ICT were completely and utterly vindicated by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. All in all, May has been a good month for ICT.

Just to follow up on that, the Linfield and Livingston official websites both state that they are playing us on 9th July. Our official website says nothing. I can't imagine we would be splitting our squad into 2 like we have sometimes done when facing Highland League teams, so it looks like somebody somewhere has got something wrong.

Report here says that we are travelling to Belfast to face Linfield on Sat 9th July. STV However, that is the same date that earlier sources are saying we are due to be playing at Livi, so I wouldn't book the ferry yet until something official is confirmed.

I think we have been through this before at some point in the past, but I was trying to remember which players have received a full international cap whilst an ICT player. Off the top of my head: Richard Hastings Davide Xausa Marius Niculae Jonny Tuffey Then you've got players who were first capped after leaving ICT: Barry Robson Don Cowie Pavels Mihadjuks And then there are quite a few players who were internationals before coming to ICT: Sergei Baltacha Duncan Shearer Nicky Walker Brian Kerr Thierry Gatheussi Gary McSwegan And finally we have 3 managers who were former internationals: Sergei Baltacha John Robertson Terry Butcher There are also loads of nearly men who were maybe called up to squads but didn't play, or played U21 or B international, but I wasn't planning on dropping down to that level unless anyone wants to! I've no doubt I'm missing some names here, so please fill the gaps.

How would you make it work Alex? As you wouldnt want to have a seat reserved for someone who is only there half the time. Could a seat ticket be issued in exchange for your match day slip ICT operated a 10 match season book for our first season in the SPL. You swapped a voucher for a match ticket in advance of every game you wanted to attend. Availability of seats wasn't really an issue at Pittodrie though.

Scottish football needs all the money it can get, so these lucrative friendlies/tournaments should be accomodated where possible provided there is no disadvantage to the other SPL teams.
