Squad numbers
Jack has been one of the top 10 male baby names for each of the last 20 or so years. Keep up!

Chris Hogg signs again
This is very good news. (Unless you are Proctor or Meekings perhaps.)

Owain Tudur Jones signed
You know the saying, when something seems too good to be true.... Soccerbase says he scored 4 goals for Swansea, not 41.

How many nationalities have played for ICT?
Barry Robson - Brazilian (or so he'd like to think!)

How many nationalities have played for ICT?
Richard Hastings - Canadian Oh, and Ren's one hasn't actually played for us. Yngwie - Pedant

Owain Tudur Jones signed
I've still got that Tenpole Tudor single in my old vinyl collection. Perhaps I should pass it on to the stadium announcer so they can play the chorus whenever he scores a goal.

Owain Tudur Jones signed
So what are we going to call him? Jones? Owain? Tenpole?

Nationalities
With the signings Terry has made this summer, along with his ruthless disposal of our native stalwarts, the outcome of this ethnic cleansing is that we can expect to see ICT lining up with Scottish players very much in the minority. I would say that Esson, Tokely and Ross are the only Scots to have a pretty much guaranteed starting place. This is surely the most international team we have ever had, and a far cry from just a few years ago when non-Scots were a rarity. Is this a sign of progress? (PS There's a red dot coming to anyone who comes out with the entirely predictable "It doesn't matter where they come from, so long as they are good enough" blah blah blah)

Innes Bar - Cheers Colin
Best memory was after we beat St Johnstone to win the 1st Division. Everyone was on a high, and just when you thought things couldn't get any better, a TV news crew turned up and filmed us singing "Are you watching Ross County...?" I still have it on video somewhere.

Before the window closes ?
He's one of 6 players told by Norwich to find a new club. (And well done ictrmd - when I first read tm4tj's post I just thought he'd been on the weed again)

Yes, I think international clearance is FIFA's own protocol whereas work permits are EU law related.

Motherwell -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
It was a very good idea, that came as a 2 part plan: 1) Remove these two stalwarts 2) Replace them with better players The problem seems to be that the plan was only half implemented! (Can you deliver?)

It's a chance I'd be willing to take!

Terry certainly sounds enthusiastic.

Does this new remuneration package include an additional bonus each time they award a penalty to the OF? Or has that always been there?

Should we be concerned that he wasn't good enough for Killie? I don't think so. Clubs can be looking for different things in a player, and a short trial only gives a limited picture of the player, who could just be having an off day. I always enjoy remembering that we signed Paul Ritchie straight after he had an unsuccessful trial with St Mirren, who said "he's not the sort of striker we are looking for". What, one who scores goals? He went on to score loads of goals in our regular victories against them.

This Thomas Piermayr? Played 6 times for Austria U21s, including their win over Scotland in the last qualifying tournament.

Only for England though. Land of dodgy keepers.

Ross Tokely- Bus Driver
This isn't quite what Rossco expected when he was promised a coaching role.

Jamie Stevenson
Nothing against him but I would have hoped we could find someone better, as I can't see him being anything more than a squad player this season. We need players who will improve out first team. One thing that helps his chances of getting a contract though is that he will be very affordable.

Doran & McKay Signed
Which reminds me of the time a few weeks ago when I was behind a muddy lorry on which someone had written "Dirtier than Giggsy".
