  1. Claude Anelka, did serious damage to Raith Rovers a few years back.
  2. I see Lochee's tie v Ayr has been postponed 5 times now, but has some way to go to match Inverness Thistle who I think had a tie postponed about 26 times in the 1970's? This was despite all 7 of Thistle's fans doing their best to get the pitch playable.
  3. I read somewhere that Spartans also fielded an ineligible player in the first game v Elgin, but the rematch had already been ordered by the time it was discovered. It was perhaps a minor infringement : I think the situation was that he has previously been a Spartans player, then quit and deregistered due to long term injury, then made a comeback without being properly registered.
  4. In my mind, John Hughes and "think tank" don't sit comfortably in the same sentence!
  5. Crazy dream mate, it's hardly likely that Zander and Ike would be given that level of authority.
  6. Although in some respects, he could end up as replacement for Alan Gow.....
  7. Made me smile. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NEU0rH3XYgY
  8. I don't think the question needs to be asked!
  9. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t..._ct/7668173.stm He came, he went.
  10. Are there affordable players in the First Division who could improve our first team?
  11. At any of your clubs did people above you ever attempt to influence your managerial decisions? Hearts is an obvious one where that is said to have taken place, but Dick Campbell told me that a certain County director would offer him "suggestions" on tactics - which needless to say he didn't react well to! And was us signing Niculae a good or bad move?
  12. Worst signing (although not worst player) : Martin Glancy? I think we paid ?30,000 for him when we were in the 2nd division, and he contributed very few goals (although he had many fans because he ran around a lot and tried hard)
  13. Did you find that ICT's geography was a real problem in attracting players, or was it all about the wages?
  14. It's fair comment that nobody really knows what a player will be like as a coach or manager, as there are so many different attributes that contribute to success or failure in the role. I would remind people that it was widely believed in footballing circles that Brewster would be an excellent manager.
  15. I suppose it's wishful thinking that they could reconstruct in such a way that there is no relegation from the SPL this season!
  16. My settings seem to put the sound into a funny language, Polish I think. Anyway, well done to all concerned.
  17. Where's your managerial career, Brewster? "It's behind you!"
  18. How many coaches can we afford? Or do we go to an existing one and say "Sorry mate, we need to make way for Barry, you're fired."
  19. That's not actually the case. You of all people!
  20. Far from it. It's confirmation of the the well known theory that the average ICT fan has thoughts about sacking Brewster every 7 seconds.
  21. This is a test to see how long a topic can exist before an anti-Brewster post is made on it.
  22. Graham Gartland, defender. Drogheda are in administration and he appears free to leave. Reading the wording carefully, I'm not convinced there is any chance of a trial with Rangers, and would suspect that his agent is up to mischief to (successfully) get publicity.
