If Morton think the away facilities are suitable then they should just swap changing rooms with us on Saturday to prevent further complaints.

I’m sure those comments will end up with more coverage than just the local paper. Teams at our level aren’t prima donnas expecting luxury but there should at least be a minimum standard that clubs have to adhere to.

Out of 2 cups on penalties on consecutive Tuesdays. Didn’t care last week but this one is poor. Two attempts to get past a poor side like Morton and we failed couldn’t win either.

Morton have sacked Gus MacPherson (on the back of draws against us and Ayr). Not sure if this is good or bad for us ahead of the replay on Tuesday.

Watching the goal back today, it’s even better than I thought it was last night - it’s obviously a cracking strike, but the build up to it and creating the space for the shot too, great stuff.

Long journey for their travelling fans to see a defeat and very poor performance from their team, to be followed by either a long delay or lengthy detour due to the A9 being closed. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

Great to see us top of the league again, I wouldn’t have predicted that a few weeks ago when we seemed to be heading towards mid table. Interesting to note though that the 4 teams immediately below us all have better goal difference and have scored more than us.

I’d certainly hope/expect to see some fringe players getting a game, with Friday’s league match being far more important than this one, as is the Morton replay next midweek.

The only good thing about that draw is that if we get through our replay, we’ll get to see archive footage of Barry Wilson’s 70 yarder from our 1-0 cup upset there.

Pleased with the performance as well as the result. Have we improved on recent weeks or were we just up against a pretty poor side who defended badly? Bit of both, I’d say. A Friday night win always gets the weekend off to a great start. Cheers!

Dusky started all the games when we got 19 points from a possible 21 at the start of the season, and hasn’t featured much while we’ve been dropping points all over the place since then. Coincidence? Almost certainly.
