  1. Pleasing that Roberts scored yet again.
  2. Apparently Brian Rice is with Yogi in Devronvale tonight.

Jordan Roberts expected to sign later today (Press and Journal)
  4. Foster was abysmal last season with Rangers. If we were even interested, County would have offered more money anyway.

I personally think that Tremarco deserves the opportunity to be Shinnie's direct replacement as he has been patient enough when on the sidelines when Graeme was at the club. When called upon I think that Carl adds a bit of physical presence and can move down the wing in similar vein as Graeme Shinnie. When Tremarco gets a run of consecutive games going, I have no doubt he will slot into the left back role very easily. As for the suggestion for Danny Williams going in at left back, I'm convinced he can fill in the role of left back like he has done with the centre mid however I feel Williams is better utilised as a 'winger' and we could greatly benefit from him being on the wings considering Watkins has left. A natural left back coming to the club to provide competition for Tremarco wouldn't go a miss IMO.

Given that Yogi said last week he wanted to add 5 to the squad then I would fully expect to see more trialists coming in as well as Roberts and Hooper. After hearing that Roberts is a more a player that sits in behind the striker rather than an outright winger then I hope we get on trial or loan another winger and maybe a left back and Goalie.

Roberts sounds like a direct replacement for Watkins?

Another video to add of JJ Hooper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiee80PdIhc
  9. John Christophe Ayina, he went on to sign for Getafe's reserve team. Looking up on the stats, it appears he has played 12 games and scoring 2 times with them last season.

I thought there were some well taken goals in the video to be honest. I guess Yogi will be the best judge when it comes down to it and the boy scored today, so there could be a player in Hooper.

Going by the team lines from Clach, we have JJ Hooper on trial as well as Roberts.

I know this thread is about trialists however I came across in the daily express saying that Danny Handling and Sam Stanton of Hibs are both free to look for new clubs, definitely worth a look as they could be useful additions.

Don't think you need to pay under the Bosman ruling when the player's from a different country, could be wrong though. I think you're right with that one. I think in Scotland you have pay a development fee as I think Gavin Reilly just signed for Hearts the other day under the freedom in his contract but they have to pay QOTS a development free

Thank god it's not Jason Roberts, he's nearly 40! The guy Jordan that we have on trial looks very promising and he's only 21, I reckon with Yogi, Latapy and Scott Kellacher's coaching, we could have a good player on our hands.
  16. Why not leave the red as is and replace blue with black We've had the current black, red and blue away kit for a couple seasons and we have hardly worn it, we've used the white third kit more than the away kit.
  17. I think they are the Monday before the first leg (May be incorrect on that) There is definitely a deadline for player registration though.
  18. I'm not sure I agree with getting in as many as 5-6 considering we have the likes Calum Ferguson, Ali Sutherland, Jason Brown on the bench to add already. I reckon we need a 3 first team quality signings (Left Back, Winger and Striker) and we'd be set IMO.
  19. Nick Ross has signed a two year deal with Dundee.
  20. Apparently UEFA regulations say that the home club must offer 5% of the stadium to away supporters.
  21. Happy enough with the draw especially the first leg being at the TCS which we should hopefully gain a bit of the advantage. Second leg should be a cracking tie though.
  22. After having a proper read of the fixtures, I am a bit happier with the January fixtures this season as I remember last season we had Ross County twice in the same month and also a midweek fixture vs St Johnstone. I still would prefer the guys to have a two week break in January especially coming off of playing Boxing day, 30th and 2nd of Jan etc.
  23. I would definitely agree with Rene's list however I would actually say Philip Roberts despite missing the semi final penalty wasn't all bad (if he could be bothered) I remember a game at the TCS where he had a stormer against Dundee United, I would say he was mediocre with flashes of good rather than bad. One that's not been mentioned was Andre Blackman, I actually thought he was good for the two games with us but he had honking attitude behind the scenes at the club before being binned.
  24. It's pleasing to read that we have been tracking this lad for a bit of time and wasn't just a move that's come out of the blue. I'm also encouraged after reading both his and Yogi's quotes on the club website as my main concern with this move was him getting the lack of game time that Lewis Horner got last season. At least Nat has come in and knows there is a challenge and I guess competition for places in centre mid is going to be interesting now.
  25. 24 at the end of the month Aye, still fairly young and can fill in at centre back which is also handy I suppose.
