Summer transfer targets
Just noticed in the Highland news that we have Alan Gow (ex Falkirk) training with us but says the chances of us signing him are slim. I reckon he would be a good signing for us probably back in 06' but I haven't heard of him much these days.

I watched Ross Perry last march vs our U20. He only played 45 mins because I think he had just come back from a lengthy injury spell but he had a reasonable game. If it was up to me though I wouldn't blow the budget for him although he has good potential, he wouldn't be guaranteed first team games. Following from Yogi's article in the courier today, it's pretty much quality over quantity which I fully agree with. Should we get another player it should be a player that can challenge the current 11 and not sit and warm the bench. I am sure that Yogi will have his contacts and hopefully we can attain a quality striker.

It's been on the tops during pre season but it doesn't look that bad IMO. It looks good on the away top not sure how it's gonna work with the blue and red though Looked fine last Saturday and we were using last season's home top.- New Home Shirt 2014-15

Says the person who was all for him till Well turned him down Pretty sure today was the first time I mentioned him in this thread.- Summer transfer targets
I think we can do a lot better than David Clarkson.- Summer transfer targets
If Aynia is holding out for more money then I'd be less inclined to give it to him. Money would be better spent elsewhere IMO.- Summer transfer targets
To be honest, I feel that we don't need a right back and certainly don't need a centre half. I know we only have one proven right back in Raven but Shinnie was perfectly capable of filling in at right back in Raven's absence. I know you could argue that Shinnie being at right back did run it's course after a while but also not forgetting Josh Meekings started at ICT as a right back so you could place him there too. I could understand if Yogi is looking for established right back to challenge Raven but I feel we are well covered unless Shinnie was leaving ICT. Same case for a centre half. Gary Warren and Josh Meekings first team starters - no question about it. We have a perfectly capable replacement in Danny Devine. Graeme Shinnie's versatile enough to fill in at centre half and so is Carl Tremarco. We also have Jason Brown in the U20s that can fill in at centre half too. So again, yogi could be looking for a bit more competition but I wouldn't be sad if we didn't get one. To me a second striker should and probably is our main priority. We can get so much benefits out of having a second striker if we played a 4-4-2 and kept the opposition on their toes because they would be expecting us to play the usual 4-2-3-1. I do feel that we need this second striker incase Mckay gets injured or suspended however you could counter that by how many goals have come from midfield/defence when Mckay was off the boil. We have Calum Ferguson at our disposal already but I think he should be kept for the future and let him keep developing in the U20 and possibly another loan spell at either the Championship or League 1. As Yogi pointed out in an interview in May you're stuck between a rock and a hard place when you get a second striker because they will be expecting to play week in week out but as I said if we altered the tactics then it shouldn't be a problem.- Clach v ICT
I take it that the trialist was definitely Ayina? Also, any news on boy Baptie signing? Yes it was most definitely Ayina. I am not sure about Baptie he wasn't there tonight.- Clach v ICT
A very convincing win for ICT tonight. I thought the team as a whole looked sharp, I thought that the second half performance was much better than the first. Regarding the trialist Jean Christophe Aynia, I thought that he had a reasonable game and took his goal very well but I can see what others are saying when they said he looked average. I noticed on his Wikipedia page that the boy only played 2 games for Santander so I can understand why he is lacking match fitness but it's certainly a step in the right direction by all means.- Summer transfer targets
So it's not Lee Miller: http://www.kilmarnockfc.co.uk/Article?id=673- Summer transfer targets
Kilmarnock are after Lee Miller but I noticed this morning that they have taken Josh Magennis on trial for pre season. St Johnstone have taken David Goodwillie on trial but they said they might not be able to afford him.- Pre-season friendlies

I really liked Andre Blackman as a player while he was with us - just a shame he ruined it. Fair play to him for getting a move to Leeds though.- Summer transfer targets

Killie have launched their new home kit today (Away and Third on their twitter page)and they are with Errea. If we have a similar template I would be happy.- Summer transfer targets
I wholeheartedly agree with Yogi there as I mentioned in one of my previous posts is that he will be doing his due diligence so that we don't overspend on the wrong players. It's good to see that we will have two trialists which indeed could be strikers and also mentioning a couple of loans coming in. I think we could use just a little bit more depth in our squad considering the amount of players that left us.- Summer transfer targets
Could possibly be for some of the U20 lads.- Summer transfer targets
I think I'm right in saying that Yogi was planning to have a trialist match similar to what Butcher done but whether that has happened or is in the pipeline remains to be seen. I personally don't think Yogi is not looking for a centre forward - of course he is. I recall watching on ICT YouTube and Yogi did address the point on recruiting a second striker and he made an excellent point that they will want to play and not sit on the bench. When I watched that interview I did get a sense that Yogi wasn't keen on altercating the tactics and play two up front cause if we did then Ryan Christie or James Vincent would be stuck on the bench which to be honest is fair enough. I'm 100 percent certain that Yogi is looking for players to improve with the current squad but just because we haven't brought anyone in yet doesn't mean that he is an inept manager. Plenty of other managers go through transfer Windows without bringing in new players. I know a lot of my suggestions have probably been fantasy because we would be outpriced but I'm sure there's a lot of work being done behind the scenes.- Summer transfer targets
Quote by Kenny Cameron taken from the ICT official website. There is obviously money to spend and in Yogi's recent quote one could only assume that Yogi is doing his due diligence properly so we don't overspend on the wrong players. As Sneckboy correctly points out Yogi did say before the season starts he didn't see it likely but the window would still be open for at least 3 weeks after that. In saying that could it be possible we could be promoting within though?- Summer transfer targets
I read a couple of articles Tony Watt talking about his loan in Belgium. He struck me as a determind lad even after the crap he put up with the manager at Lierse. My opinion isn't based on the fact that he scored a winning goal against Barcelona. It's more the fact of what I have seen of him is that he can change a game. I remember a couple seasons back we played Celtic and he ran riot and scored a couple. I have also taken the time to watch him play in U20 games and he was a stand out for Celtic. He goes on to say he would consider moving back to Belgium if Deila didn't want him but if he was a total ned as portrayed I really doubt Yogi nor Richie would put up with it if he joined us.k At the end of the day, money talks! - New Home Shirt 2014-15
