  1. Hopefully should be there + OCG, CaleyCalum and Dawson. My team would be: 4-1-3-2 Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Draper Williams Tansey Vincent Watkins Mckay
  2. It may be in ICT's best interest if we hold onto him until his contract runs out cause we all know the offers in January won't be a massive amounts and with having Graeme in the side we may finish higher with him than without him so money could be saved there rather than losing out. I also don't think we should pay over the odds for him to stay when the likes of Watkins, Meekings, Mckay, Tansey and Raven's deals are up at the end of the season.
  3. ICT 1-2 Dundee FT
  4. According to Dundee's Twitter account, we are losing 2-0 at HT
  5. I seen today that Derek Adams is out of the running for the Motherwell job - not surprised after that slamming off the Dutch boys he signed.
  6. Christ, that's some drop for Partick Thistle - must be second season syndrome!
  7. £8 for us 16-25 year olds ain't too bad And Under 16's just £1 And they'll spend considerably more in the pub afterwards! The under 16s in the pubs?!

  9. Apparently we have 5 away games in January and start Feburary if we win tomorrow - tough ask!
  10. Fair enough, thought the south stand may had been open for the St Mirren fans.
  11. HT: 0-0 FT: 2-0 1st ICT: Tansey 1st St Mirren: McLean First Goal: 28 mins
  12. How come only the main stand is open?
  13. Christie was one of the better ones today. Vincent and Williams should sit this one for Watkins and Tansey to come in.
  14. Apparently so, was expecting it to be a week on Tuesday.
  15. Was at the game today and thought we played well enough. Passing was still a plus but felt we sorely missed Tansey and Watkins. Should hopefully beat them on Tuesday night.
  16. CaleyCalum HT: 0-1 FT: 0-2 1st ICT: Mckay 1st St Mirren: McLean First Goal: 17 mins

    AGM

    Managers always attend AGMs.
  18. I personally think that the Premiership would benefit a similar schedule seen in Ireland and Sweden etc. (Summer Football) I personally feel that if we adopted that schedule then people may be more willing to go to the games at TCS and other grounds. If you look at the champions league/Europa league qualifiers and some of the teams are streets ahead of teams like Scottish teams for example. Why? because purely they are fitter at that time because they are half way through a season and we are just back from a 3/4 week holiday. If we adopted summer football would Scottish teams perform better in Europe - without a doubt. Another cause of drop in attendence would also be the repetitiveness of the league but Uncle Roy didn't want his team to go down which will probably happen this year.
  19. Right enough, forgot about that - Bloody Willie Gollum
  20. HT: 0-1 FT: 2-4 1st ICT: Warren 1st St Mirren: Ball First Goal: 35 mins
  21. I'll be there with Old Caley Girl and CaleyCalum Looking forward to this cup tie as its a good chance to progress to the next round as St Mirren are no great shakes at this current moment. My team would be: 4-1-3-2 Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Draper Williams Christie Doran Mckay Sekajja Subs: Esson, Devine, Tremarco, Vincent, Ross
  22. Really like that bar scarf! Probably will purchase when it becomes available.
  23. Summer of 2015 was what I understood
  24. That's absolutely true but in truth he could have implemented the passing style of play and the players alienate to idea of changing the style of play completely as they have stuck to one system consistently for a season and a half and didn't adapt well to it and dropping in form but thankfully we have a talented bunch of players that have adapted to another way of thinking. That in my opinion was his biggest task and he's succeeded but if he has to re build then so be it but I have complete faith as he brought back a resurgent Greg Tansey.
  25. In my opinion the biggest test for John Hughes was to maintain what Butcher had started and please the expecting fans (myself included) and I think he has done that ssuccessfully but having time to reflect I think he's gone a step further than Butcher. What struck me the most last Saturday was how far ahead of Motherwell we were with our passing - it was quick, intelligent and smooth. If you look at the last few seasons, you would have to say that Motherwell were some kind of bogey team of ours scoring 4 plus. To pass them off the park like we done takes some doing and that comes down to the management. I personally thought some of the passing had shades of Russell Latapy in his prime about it. Yeah absolutely if John Hughes has to re build a squad then I would also consider it a massive test but if we keep going the way we are then hopefully he won't have much to do in summer to prepare for the Europa league qualifiers. The thing that I like the most after reading the article is that John Hughes believes in his players in a way that his predecessor didn't.
