  1. After a bit of research, I seen that Ross County managed to get £100K for Kevin Luckassen so 65k is just laughable for Billy.
  2. 65K is a joke. Glad we told them to bolt.
  3. What I am interested to know is how much Fleetwood put on the table and what counts as a 'truly exceptional offer'.
  4. Top Six. Wouldn't mind a decent run in the Scottish Cup aswell.
  5. I seen that Sheffield Wednesday have made a £700K bid up front for Stevie May and St Johnstone are still looking for a bit more. Would it be accurate to say Billy Mckay is worth the same as Stevie May or bit more?
  6. Would be interested to see what the fee is involved. Seems a legit source.
  7. Didn't even realise the draw was today. I think it should be a good tie for us in the most likely scenario we head to Ibrox. We have a great chance of progression.
  8. I was watching about 10 mins of the second half on Willie Hills in play and Falkirk had 61% possession whereas we had only 34%. Falkirk had about 14/15 corners where as we had none and that was only 50 mins in the game.
  9. Report from Falkirk on today's game: http://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/blog/dev-league-falkirk-2-ict-0/#more-3590
  10. Falkirk have such a good youth set-up though so it's no disgrace Have seen that they have Rory Boulding on trial today. Haven't seen any team lines from our side though.
  11. Going by Falkirk's twitter page our development squad are losing 2-0.

  16. One of the main issues I have surrounding Billy Mckay is gaining complacency. If he has a run of bad games and nobody is hot on his tail for his spot in the team then he will know he is in the team regardless. As we seen he went a massive run of games without scoring (only four goals in 2014 of last season, two of them against C*unty) but don't get me wrong I don't think that was due to complacency more to the fact he was burnt out because he's the only option Yogi had available to him. As they say in football competition is healthy and I'm sure Yogi will get a player in, in due course. I hope he goes for a youth player that needs first team experience like he said the other day in the local press.
  17. That's my thoughts aswell. Great potential but far too early for him another loan spell wouldn't go a miss either.
  18. Got a problem with him No, I have no problem with him. Fact i he has the experience which could help our players like ferguson and wilson in the long term Pretty sure Duncan Shearer is doing a good enough job anyways so no point really. Should really go for someone that has potential rather than a has-been.
  19. There were twins one of them got released the other one got kept i think the one your on about is Filip Twardik who is still there and it was Patrik Twardzik that got released. Yeah I was aware of the Twardzik twins were at Celtic but I couldn't remember off the top of my head which one got released. I'm pretty sure it was Patrik Twardzik that was scoring a few goals for their U20 even against our U20. I would rate Atajic higher than Twardzik twins though (Despite Atajic's recent penalty vs St Pauli)
  20. The plus point for me is that should we sign Horner we should hopefully see Danny Williams played attacking wide left. Should there be any injuries to Tansey and Draper then we would have Horner and Polworth and Danny Williams playing in a natural positions. As I said I hope Horner can challenge for a first team spot considering we have quite a big bench already.
  21. I'm pretty sure there is work being done behind the scenes regarding transfer activity - and that's the way it should be IMO. Lewis Horner coming on trial caught us off guard as did Alan Gow and John Christophe-Aynia. I was originally not keen on the idea of Lewis Horner being brought in to the club however my mind has been changed after hearing what Yogi has had to say about him and also the news of Richie Foran missing the start of the season. Places for centre mid is going to be tight and I thought that Horner would be placed on the bench as back up. Squad depth is nice to have but it would be a waste of time not just for us but Horner himself if he doesn't get the game time. It was encouraging to read that he can play in various other postitions than just centre mid so he sounds like he can be useful but as I have said in the fleetwood thread I hope if he signs that Yogi can give him the game time and justify the move. I read the in the Highland News today that we are also looking at one or two youth players that could find it useful to be around a first team environment - I couldn't agree more. Terry Butcher did go down this route but for some reason never played them as much. Sam Winnall being a prime example. I have seen a few games of Celtic's U20 team and they have some really good players we could possibly get a use out of. Bahrudin Atajic is someone I would recommend. There was a boy called Twardzik that I think got released at the end of the season and he was scoring some goals in the U20. Obviously Yogi and John Collins have previously worked together so maybe discussion have/could take place.
  22. Yogi said in the courier today that it will be predominately U20 to prevent the risk of injuries to the main guys which is fair enough. Be interesting if Lewis Horner gets a game.
  23. I'm all for giving the lad Horner a chance to try and make it after unfortunately being let go by Hibernian but as long as Yogi can justify it. I do admit it gives us an alternative should our main guys get injured but would he get ahead Tansey,Draper, and Foran - I'm not so sure.
  24. Looks like we will be signing Lewis Horner: http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl/inverness-ct-2-1-fleetwood-town-horner-poised-1-3490199
