  1. That'll answer my question above. Interestingly I looked at Sakajja's profile on PFA and I thought he could be a decent option. Pete O Rourke has been spot on recently we stuff relating us.
  2. Apologies for dragging up this topic but I thought this question was more relevant here than just posting a new thread. Who is the player at 2mins 24sec, 3mins 21secs and 3min 30secs? Link: http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/9499151/hughes-loving-life-in-inverness-ct
  3. The fact that they have recruited the likes of Jackson Irvine, Lewis Toshney and bringing back Michael Gardyne was good business for them IMO. As DD says this game will be be a tight affair. I think if we play like we have done against Kilmarnock and Cetlic at home then we should see this one through but I really can't see this game being a comfortable afternoon. County obviously have gained a momentum boost from their win at the weekend so it's just down to us to firstly keep staking a claim in the top 3 and secondly taking county back down a peg and I think we can do it. My team for the day would be: 4-4-1-1 Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Watkins Draper Tansey Doran Christie Mckay
  4. You say that if we had won "it would have been deserved win", well words on Tyrone Smith Twitter at full time was "Aberdeen claim a deserved victory", is he talking crap or would you agree with Mr Smith? The only thing Aberdeen done well with yesterday was capitalise on two mistakes by Warren and Draper. Bronzer is correct, if we didn't make them costly errors then the end result would have been a lot rosier for us.
  5. Thought we done well today and scored two decent goals again but as already said two invidiual errors costed us the game. I have to admit with the passing the ball at the back too much but only when we were chasing the game, it's fine when we are cruising. Felt we needed a bit more urgency to go forward but it wasn't there in the last 10/15 mins. Another game with Aberdeen goes by and they were there for the taking.
  6. I like the look of that Rene - could easily pull that off IMO but harsh to drop Raven.
  7. Intrigued to see how other fans see this one going and how we line up. It'll be obvious how we will play but any curveballs to surprise Aberdeen? - as you can see Watkins up front would be my suggestion. My team would be: 4-1-4-1 Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Draper Doran Christie Tansey Williams Watkins Subs: Esson, Tremarco, Devine, Horner, Polworth, Ross, Mckay
  8. HT: 0-0 FT: 3-2 1st ICT: Meekings 1st Aberdeen: Flood First Goal: 68 min
  9. I forgot your ego adds about 100 people to the crowd
  10. Felt that today was a good game in general. We played so much better in the second half and deservedly scored two fantastic goals from Watkins and Christie. Unfortunely some of the passing at the back allowed St Johnstone press and get a goal back from Brian Graham and we were seriously under pressure in the last ten mins but we held on. All in all a good three points considering our last two games and hopefully give us back the momentum to kick us on for the rest of the season. I would like to see Billy Mckay get dropped to the bench next weekend if I'm honest, nothing personal but just feel he doesn't really merit a start because how off form he is at the moment. I would be keen to see Marley Watkins or Ryan Christie get in ahead of him to mix it up a bit.
  11. Why? ICT and St Johnstone are good at not mixing politics with football.
  12. HT: 0-0 FT: 2-1 1st ICT: Tansey 1st St J: Graham First Goal: 56 mins
  13. Just to add, why isn't Nick Ross getting any game time?
  14. Agree with what has already been said, I thought we sat too deep and paid the price for it. I personally thought defensively we were sound last night but just going forward I was really disappointed - Wasn't overly impressed with Doran I must say. I thought last nights game was an example where we needed a second striker - it's not happening for Billy at the moment. Anyways on a positive note, I thought it was quite refreshing to see Liam Polworth slotting in nicely in Drapers role and he was one of our better players last night. I thought Ryan Christie brightened things up in terms of moving forward but we just didn't have the end product. Rangers were there for the taking but just have to move on and we've got a massive test this Saturday against St Johnstone.

  18. Was at the game yesterday and I thought we done well in the first 20 mins and then it all went downhill. I think after the 20 or so minutes when they scored their equaliser Partick started to settle and went for more and we couldn't cope. As has already been said this game was just a blip which makes me wonder if the result had been different if we didn't have the international break seems we lost a bit of our momentum yesterday. Ah well we move on, Bring on the Rangers!
  19. HT:0-1 FT:0-2 1st ICT:Watkins 1st Partick: Stevenson First Goal: 36 mins
  20. The last I heard about Richie Foran, it was said that he is out until Christmas hence why Lewis Horner was signed for back up. Regards the Partick game, same team vs Killie and the result should hopefully take care if itself if we play like we did in the last two games.
  21. Just read that Celtic released Bahrudin Atajic just after the transfer deadline. I watched Atajic a couple times in the last few seasons in u20 game vs us and Ross County and I thought he would do a decent job for us if we could ever get a loan deal for him. I am not overly surprised that he has been released due to the fact of Deila coming in and the fact they just got two new strikers, the general consensus must of been he wouldn't have made it at Celtic and it was in the best interest of both of them to part. Now that he is a free agent it gives us a chance to take a look at him and maybe trial him in U20 games if possible. I genuinely believe it would greatly benefit both parties, provides us with a back up and referring back to CaleyD's point about have a sell on value which to his words "represent an investment in taking the club forward" Atajic only being 20/21 I would say that he fits that category. I could see him as being a similar mould as Andrew Shinnie in the sense that he has a point to prove after coming off the back of the big club mentality of the Old Firm. Granted Andy Shinnie had his brother at the club which helped him settle but I think Atajic would be a decent shout for a long term Plan B and then eventually Plan A. I understand where CaleyD was coming from regarding there already being short term answers which in truth that's all it is short term. (touch wood) Billy Mckay gets injured for a lengthy spell then we don't have long term back up. If the last two games are anything to go by then I am sure as hell think Watkins is better utilised on the wings of pitch rather than up front.
  22. We can take David Clarkson off the possibility list. Just signed for Dundee.
  23. I thought I read something along those lines that it would come down to finances in the newspaper but I could be wrong. I think Celtic not making the champions league group stages has put a dampener on things hence why he haven't signed one up yet but hopefully with this international break it should give Yogi enough time to weigh up the options.
  24. I wouldn't mind him for his experience but if we can't afford Alan Gow then am sure it will be the same case with McFadden.
  25. Quite surprised at that. Was expecting a Friday night on BT sport.
