  1. Lewis Horner signed a one year deal.
  2. Yes Yogi didn't give an interview because that's what happens at Rangers... As I said above he was probably pissed off at the fact Journos were not giving us a chance before a ball was even kicked and didn't want to give them gratitude of an interview.
  3. When the Journos were tipping ICT for relegation despite Yogi telling them not to underestimate us then why should he give an interview? I didn't hear what was fully said but I think something about the highlands was mentioned too.
  4. Delighted with the result and delighted Danny Williams got a start on the wings today. Our bench looked strong today which is another positive aspect. Looking forward to Wednesday night now after a good win that had a potential slip up.
  5. Whatever that means doesn't take away from the fact that he said he would be happy just to avoid relegation. Despite saying "we'll let everyone else tell everyone what they're going to do" he also says that he expects we'll win more games than we'll lose - which, of course, is telling everyone else what he thinks we're going to do. So he thinks we will win more than we will lose (so presumably that's top six again) but he will still be happy if we just avoid relegation. I'm sure he does have higher ambitions for the club but his words don't exactly inspire confidence. Ictchris makes a good point about small changes having a big impact on league position and therefore it would be foolish to make any more specific predictions, but surely nobody at the club will be happy if we just avoid relegation - relieved, maybe but surely not happy. I would have thought the line should be that we have been top six for the last 2 seasons and will be looking to build on that. At the same time he should be acknowledging the progress other clubs like Aberdeen and Dundee Utd in particular are making which will make the league very competetive. That would demonstrate ambition whilst playing down expectations. I remember watching an interview during half time of Dundee United last March on BBC Alba and they were interviewing Richie Foran. Richie said "If we don't achieve Top Six next year then it would be considered a failure" I'm sure Yogi is aware of the expectation to achieve a top six finish and he will give it his best shot as will the players.
  6. Or Yogi could adjust his tactics a little bit to accommodate a second striker while keeping his ball retention philosophy. Old school 4-4-2 or even Louis Van Gaal's Netherlands tactic at the recent world cup 3-5-2 However I can understand where Yogi is coming from when you buy a player in they have be a first team starter. Just look at Jason Oswell, Sam Winnall and latest Toby Agdestein.
  7. Well Paddy McCourt is good at ball retention...
  8. Once Queens Park and Sevco play their game but i don't actually know when that is though. 26th of August is when that tie is played.
  9. After a bit of research, I seen that Ross County managed to get £100K for Kevin Luckassen so 65k is just laughable for Billy.
  10. 65K is a joke. Glad we told them to bolt.
  11. What I am interested to know is how much Fleetwood put on the table and what counts as a 'truly exceptional offer'.
  12. Top Six. Wouldn't mind a decent run in the Scottish Cup aswell.
  13. I seen that Sheffield Wednesday have made a £700K bid up front for Stevie May and St Johnstone are still looking for a bit more. Would it be accurate to say Billy Mckay is worth the same as Stevie May or bit more?
  14. Would be interested to see what the fee is involved. Seems a legit source.
  15. Didn't even realise the draw was today. I think it should be a good tie for us in the most likely scenario we head to Ibrox. We have a great chance of progression.
  16. I was watching about 10 mins of the second half on Willie Hills in play and Falkirk had 61% possession whereas we had only 34%. Falkirk had about 14/15 corners where as we had none and that was only 50 mins in the game.
  17. Report from Falkirk on today's game: http://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/blog/dev-league-falkirk-2-ict-0/#more-3590
  18. Falkirk have such a good youth set-up though so it's no disgrace Have seen that they have Rory Boulding on trial today. Haven't seen any team lines from our side though.
  19. Going by Falkirk's twitter page our development squad are losing 2-0.
  20. Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Doran Tansey Vincent Williams Christie Mckay
  21. Celtic Aberdeen Dundee United Motherwell St Johnstone Dundee St Mirren ICT Ross County Kilmarnock Hamilton Partick Thistle
  22. 1-0 Birmingham Lee Novak
  23. One of the main issues I have surrounding Billy Mckay is gaining complacency. If he has a run of bad games and nobody is hot on his tail for his spot in the team then he will know he is in the team regardless. As we seen he went a massive run of games without scoring (only four goals in 2014 of last season, two of them against C*unty) but don't get me wrong I don't think that was due to complacency more to the fact he was burnt out because he's the only option Yogi had available to him. As they say in football competition is healthy and I'm sure Yogi will get a player in, in due course. I hope he goes for a youth player that needs first team experience like he said the other day in the local press.
