  1. A sneaky feeling he'll sign on, but , only so we get a transfer fee for him. Can't see him being here next season.
  2. hospitality is my big pressie(what a cheapskate), so i'll be there + 1.
  3. anyone remember the name of the barber shop at the bottom of academy street? next to dorandos i think it was? everyone used to go there for their Bowie cut!!!!
  4. ahh! the carlton on a saturday night spending all the money from my saturday job in the courtyard (age was no restriction in that place) the barrel vault sunday afternoon in the tower hotel hold on... i see a pattern emerging here.
  5. this must be the price of a bit of success.... a few morons will latch on and try to ruin it for decent fans. i wish i knew what the solution is???

    Spot on, big man.
  7. spoke to stuart duff and ryan esson in foxes last night. both excellent players and genuinely nice blokes.
  8. i think alot of people would agree with the last point. me included. i hope expectation levels aren't going to get out of hand though. in the cold light of day that was a great result for us.
  9. Go away you horrible little boy. PullMyFinger aged 453/4 no, don't go just yet dougal. time to name and shame these people and if they actually exist we can hound them back under the rock they came from. FTOF
  10. Q. how do you like going to away matches? A. fortnightly
  11. Hard to disagree with that assessment. Esson has been top class for us and should have been called into the international squad for the game at pittodrie.

does anyone know if volunteers are required this week? i don't suppose there's been much of melt yet.
  13. Interesting to note that on the 606 dons forum, a poll of preferred mangers, TB only has one vote. On the other hand, they've got some imagination with some of their other choices!!!!! TB MUST STAY! TB WILL STAY!!!!!

for years we heard the essex girl jokes and now it's the turn of the essex guys!! what a bleedin joke. equal opportunities are a great thing.
  15. There is NO WAY i would go up to a complete stranger in Inverness and start discussing ICT, i have experienced at first hand unpleasantness and animosity towards myself and ICT whilst out drinking in the city Fair enough if you are in the Caley Thistle club surrounded by fellow ICT fans well that maybe the case but you are wrong to say that everyone is willing to discuss ICT and make you welcome Even on this forum i've not really been made particularly welcome by some, i've even been targeted by a red dot campaign which has caused me a lot of heartache dougal you poor wee soul! come on in and have a cuddle
  16. He'd regret walking away from his biggest success story into the mire. But he'd still do it if he got the chance. Too big a job to turn down and all that. The comments above are those of a man that's keeping his options open. I don't see what the rush is. the aberdeen job will come up again in another 18 months. by which time we'll be the "third force in scottish football" and terry and mo can pick any job they want.
  17. Pele would hav done it but they couldn't trace his favourite movie "vodka galore" Sorry robby but thats not remotely funny. Here's hoping you go through your whole life never having to experience the pain of alcoholism and how it can affect, not only the alcoholic but those around them. you are absolutely correct. i apologise if i offended anyone. a moment of madness and a throwaway line i couldn't resist. i have seen alcoholism at closer range than a lot of people, so all i can say in mitigation is that some people deal with it the best they can. again, if anyone was offended, please accept my apology.
  18. Don't think he kicked the door in cos he hates Aberdeen. Not sure, but it might have been cos Rangers lost. Terry being a born winner taking his frustration out on the fixtures and fittings. October 1988. Aberdeen 2 Rangers 1. Charlie Nicholas scored the winner. No wonder TB was upset.

What next time??? His 15 minutes of fame ran out when he had to take a publicity stunt to the highland news ffs. He's so famous 'cos he appeared on ITV 2 OR 3 OR 4. Who in their right mind watches that garbage? A note to any club goers who may have been there to meet this tube: just cos the poster outside says he's famous it doesn't mean he has any talent. I give up!!! paying to see someone who can (just about) walk and talk at the same time.
  22. coca cola or pepsi?
  23. in the event of county getting the go ahead to play on saturday, how ridiculous will the spl look for calling off our game? surely that would bring about change to the current set-up of 3 bodies ruling the game?
  24. i never thought of him. that's a darn good shout, sir.
