Radical change is required in Scottish football. I think that was the gist of the Mcleish Report. Taking two clubs out of the SPL and putting them into the 1st division is as far from radical as you can get. It's a total joke!!!!

For Stewart Milne to suggest, as he did on the radio today, that some clubs are trying to balance the good of scottish football against self interest is the height of hypocrisy. Richie missed the first few games of the season but when he returned the whole team got a lift. Personally, i think his form has dipped because he hasn't fully recovered or is carrying another injury. Either way, i think he needs rested. If fully fit, he'd be in my starting line-up every game. He just looks a yard off the pace at the moment.

I think we can make top six but we will need a vast improvement in our home form.

From where i was sitting it looked a penalty to me. On top of that, there wasn't much of a protest about it from rossco or anyone else. What really ripped my knitting was Cerny took an age over every goal kick. If you added up the time he wasted, there would have been about 15 mins of additional time. :irritated:

What bothered me most about Doncaster's comments on radio scotland was this idea of attracting better players to the SPL. Throwing stupid money at imported players was what got scottish football into the s**t in the first place. It's bad enough that they want to repeat the mistake of a 10 team league, they want to start bringing has beens in again who are only looking to top up their pension fund. They will effectively bury any chance of young local talent making it to the top, and at the same time kill off the national teams chance of appearing at major tournaments. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so heartbreaking!!!
