  1. CD, the match experience at Away games is not what it was either. There used be far more singing, far more life, now if the kids aren't there it's like being at a funeral. That, combined with the dire standard of play, does nothing to make you look forward to the game, even if you're still going every fortnight or so.

I had planned to go but couldn't at the last minute. Quite glad now, I think. How did we play? Lots of hoofing?
  3. A belated thanks to the Testimonial Committee and everyone else on and off the pitch for a great night. Loved the playing of the MAGNIFICENT SEVEN at the start as well. Very cool

Really? When was this? I am trying to mind what he got sent off for in the St. Mirren game. I thought it would have been a one game suspension? Bit confused by that also. Did he wink at Gus Macpherson?

Much as I like Hastings as a full back, he was dreadful as a central defender against Hearts at the last visit to Tynecastle. I would much rather stick with McGuire.
  6. Hideous

Nowt wrong with the standard of the 2. Bundesliga. Not that this is relevant.

The last time I looked Kaiserslautern was in Germany...? Thanks for your posts Steve, I think most people appreciate you posting, even if it has done nothing to help the confusion about events.
  9. Good idea youngy, hope it has some impact.

He joined Mainz on a free transfer and left the same way six months later. I really can't imagine any money is owed there. blurb in English He didn't impress :001:
  11. I'm not convinced :023:
  12. I think even if he forced himself north, I wouldn't trust him not to want to go back down again as soon as he could. What's wrong with Scottish footballers that they can't live more than 10 miles away from where they were conceived? Doesn't he think that, huge talent as he is, that bigger English clubs might see him at MK Dons? Or is he just scared that people will find out he is a small fish after all.
  13. Alex, I'm beginning to think Rory knows some terrible secret about you and that if you don't write a complimentary post every day, he will reveal all :004: reedee, going by some of your previous posts, I would have thought you would be singing this to all the players:

I'm sure most people reading the BBC report don't think that at all, there are strange glitches all over the transfer market and I think in general people would blame the player for making some weird unknown demand for any problem, and not the club. Should have just sold him to Slautern and saved all the hassle.
  16. Very nice :021:

That's true - I guess you could even get volunteers if it would stick two fingers up at the OF.
  18. When we relegate?
  19. I miss his press announcements. "The boys showed great character" delivered in a voice suggesting someone had just declared war on the country. I can see Doncaster's point of view that he isn't totally match fit, but I feel sorry for him not to be given the chance. I certainly would have no objection to seeing him at TCS.

Do Inverness have the (wo)manpower to do this? I would certainly like to see them take the same approach, but it may be a question of admin time.
  21. RiG, the "Few Dollars More..." thread is about this....
  22. Just in case you want to vote on tonight's result on their website... LFA At the moment 45% are saying LFA will win. :010:
  23. correct news ,but wrong clubs :029: So which were the correct clubs?
  24. The main problem is that we wouldn't be able to afford to poach all their players any more as they would probably end up with better ones than us :014:
  25. Nah, Celtic have done this with a German team. I'd go for a North American or Australian team. Yes, but you can fly to Hahn or Frankfurt more cheaply than Toronto or Sydney. Well, most of us :004:
