Team for Gretna
Why are you playing Satan as both a midfielder *and* a lone striker? :015:

ICT -V- Aberdeen : Matchday Thread
Glad to hear that there was a good team effort, even if there are still problems. Not dreading the Gretna game *quite* as much now.

ICT v The Dons - Saturday 29 March
Nice one Scotty :021: Our team sheet from six months ago is beginning to read like an obituary.

Are You Still Behind Brewster?
I wasn't happy when he came back, as I thought a lot of his previous success had come from his goals. No-one could fault him as a player. But I think our good spell post-CC was just a new manager honeymoon period, and now we need a quickie divorce. The problem is, as many have said, that there's isn't going to be a queue to replace him. And what sort of squad is going to be left for them?

Players For Next Season
Almost as much fun to watch as Zibi (in opposition), and now available: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...ian/7318307.stm Class act at the last game in Tynecastle. :015:

I thought this was going to be a thread about Aberdeen's first goal.

Shame about the Sporting strip, good up to date photo.

Our Internationalist
I'm pleased for him that he both managed to be selected and that he scored, but I really don't think people in Europe will be queueing up for him, and certainly not for half a million pounds. Mainz 05 got him on a free transfer for the second part of the 2006/2007, and he didn't manage to do anything to stop them relegating, and I can't remember any other 1. Bundesliga teams trying to get hold of him, unlike many of the other Mainz players who did get transfers to other 1. Bundesliga clubs. Nor did any clubs in Belgium show interest to my knowledge, even though he'd only been out of Belgium since the 2006/2007 winter break.

positivity alert : this saturday could be the day
I think we will win every one of our remaining games, be awarded a UEFA Fair Play slot, and win the UEFA Cup next season.

Players For Next Season
I think because the times Gretna played against us he seemed to be the best of their players. But back then we had Rankin and Wilson, and who needed some scabby old Uruguyan? :019: :019: Don't think we need Yantorno though. The players we still have would be better if they could still remember how to play.

Dennis Wyness
All very odd. And if "The Courier understands that even Wyness himself did not know anything about the late changes being proposed by his agent," then why does Dennis himself feel he has to leave Inverness? Just sack the damned agent for causing the confusion. I did like CB's match comments though regarding Vigurs: "He started the first 10 to 15 minutes very well and I was happy with his performance at that point," added Brewster. "Unfortunately, he kind of faded out of it, particularly in the second half." So he just watched him fade until the 62th minute. Great.

We Need A New Manager For Next Season
Hands up who thinks we won't relegate next season! Another difference between CC's bad run and now, is that under Charlie we were still playing attractive football, but seemed to be unlucky about finding the net, in the same way Falkirk often does. At the moment we're playing the worst football I've ever seen.

We Need A New Manager For Next Season
Hear, hear. Fraser has pulled off some world class saves this season, and can hardly be blamed for for our defence flapping about or making their way back down the park ten minutes too late.

GRETNA GAME ?
Jeez, even buying tickets is throwing money down the drain at the moment. It's been a struggle recently not to walk out. And the horrifying idea that Gretna might beat us whilst in their death throes, whilst we've trashed them in every previous game.... :010:

Dennis Wyness
The last time he played, though I can barely remember when that was as it seems such a long time ago. Was angry enough when Barry was effectively shown the door. Now Denzil too. Have absolutely no enthusiasm to go to Kilmarnock tomorrow, but I guess we have to tell Brewster what we think of him.

ZIbi Leaves ICT!
He may have made only one mistake for us, but I saw him making enough at Easter Road when he was playing regular first team football to ever want him to play unless both Michael Fraser's legs fall off.

GRETNA RESIGN FROM SFL
I also liked Wad's Worth saying "I bet there were a lot of people who didn't know this game was on." The supporters don't know when they're playing the only team they've already taken six points off?? What a pile of garbage. The thing I don't really get about Mileson, is that he has poured money into getting Gretna up into the SPL, and then seems to have virtually abandoned them. And the fact that he's ill, I would have thought, would have made him make totally sure that the club and the players would be safe if anything happened. Surely it can't be normal, in the 21st century, for players to queue up for a cheque at the end of the month?

Lets Have A Laugh
Thanks RiG, I thought it might have been real, but I guess thinking about it no team are going to want to appear in an ad being beaten.....

Baz Leaving ICT
Gutted by this news :019: :019: :019: Losing Rankin was bad enough. This isn't doing much to help my feelings towards Brewster :009: Come back soon Baz.

craig brewster
But CC inherited most of them from Brewster.... Totally agree with your other points though.

Motherwell -V- ICT : matchday thread
Though I noticed it was Mark McGhee who was asked the best time to bring on subs :015:
