  1. Of course he would have played for Butcher at Motherwell... Free agent now though
  2. CONFIRMED on BBC - Ross Tokely has been released by County. As has Mark Fitzpatrick. I kind of thought Rossco was past his best in his final season or two for us, but I for one didnt see that coming so soon, despite the Brora rumours.
  3. Please do , cringeworthy . Half of them are yours DC
  4. He's made his money now then, and perhaps wants to just start playing regularly again now that Scotland has a new Manager? I mean, If Kenny Miller can begger off, make big bucks, do nothing for years and still make the Scotland squad, then maybe Boyd thinks the same!
  5. You could have pre-warned that the name 'Danny Wilson' might be mentioned in the article.
  6. Classic rule of the NPL... Don't change your prediction!!! I debated the crowd and decided to change from 3069 - 4 out. FFS... And thats the first time i've changed my mind on the crowd all season too...
  7. Disappointed not to have seen the lads bounce back from Saturdays heart-break (see what I did there?) But to gain a littler perspective, we remain 2nd, with Aberdeen and Hibs both dropping points. We have a superior goal difference over Motherwell also. I'm not entirely fussed if we don't knock Killie out of the cup. Because, to me, a top-six finish in the league will mean our season has been a success. Onwards and Upwards!!
  8. As far as results go, a St Johnstone win would do us no harm at all. Them over the bridge are still beating Hibs, which is good for us too. If only Killie kept Celtic at bay till FT having pegged it back to 1-1 earlier
  9. Just over 2100 at Perth is unbelievable. And for what could be such a huge 3-points for either team if either of them are to be serious contenders for top 4 and a place in Europe. And considering 3 of the 4 teams ahead of them have games in hand too... Also noticed Jonny Hayes has been benched. Surely that should be a sign to Shinniesta to stay put and sign a contract extension!
  10. If truth be told, I'd take a draw tonight. Even a goalless one.
  11. Woah woah woah!!! Hang on a second here people Adam Rooney.... Billy McKay... Quite possibly two of the best strikers ICT has ever had the pleasure of fielding on our hallowed ground. Are we not forgetting a certain Andy Barrowman??? Came on as a substitute in one particular game (I think it was a cup game against Arbroath or something, could be wrong though). ICT were already winning the game, and the ball was swung in from the right. With Barrowman just 2 yards out and no keeper in sight, his shot went BEHIND him. That, to me, was ICT's worst miss
  12. Just what are they playing at? Back in December, the club announced they were in financial dire straits and would accept almost any offer forthcoming for any of their squad. They have just rejected another bid from Nottingham Forest (almost double the original offer) for Chris Burke. £500k!! The initial offer of £300k seemed reasonable to me. £500k almost certainly OTT in my personal opinion. Interesting to see no one has stepped up to sign Marlon King yet. I would have thought he may be on a few club's radars this transfer window. On a slightly brighter note, I thought it was good to see young Jack Butland turn Chelsea down. A 19-year old goalkeeper who has a £3.5m price tag on his head turning down the big clubs because he wants to play regulalry

  14. If Mrs Gringo got Max in the correct score section, thats 10 points. Having also got double points in 1st Scorer too (4), how is Dozza only on 8 points, and not 14
  15. I've heard of players having to re-take spot-kicks and keeper's being booked because they do exactly what MacDonald did - scream at players. Unsporting Behaviour is how I understand it goes down as.
  16. "No" (pronounced 'Nooooooooooooo')
  17. I'' speak further to Davie this week about booking millburn in a fortnights time. (I say a fortnights time because that is when I am next free on the Sunday, and gives me chance to sort booking the pitch and the finances to cover it.)

    smoke bomb

Completely and utterly false in the assumption/opinion that CJT only represent themselves. I for one take massive offence to that notion! 100%! If you wish me to explain why, feel free to PM me an I will reply!

Joe, in much the way you feel davie is overreacting, I think you're perhaps being a little undersighted. Any incident that has potential to cause police involvement will put fans in bad light, no matter the club they support or the severity of the issue, or indeed wether you know the culprits or not. The CJT group work damn hard to represent the fans and ensure we don't get the tag of 'hooligans' (or whatever) and any incident that can add fuel to the police's stance WILL make it harder for CJT to defend. Be it twice as hard or 10 times as hard. Point is, no matter how harmless these bombs are, police will view it as dangerous and hooliganistic. This day in age, I'd wager the Hearts fans who threw toilet rolls when they equalised will also be looked out and questioned also.

    smoke bomb

Clacher - I think the point davie is trying to make is that people complained about the treatment received by stewards after a similar incident over the bridge. People have also been querying there rights as fans in terms of what they are allowed to do, and even say/sing at matches. When the fans representitive group of CJT was asked what they were going to do about it, they set about organising meetings with police to establish reasons why ICT fans in particular were being scrutinised for enjoying themselves. When idiots throw items onto the park, they are once again doing themselves no favors, and police and stewards will only in turn assiciate the majority of our fanbase with these individuals. The person who threw the smoke bomb should, and no doubt will, be caught and punished approproately.
  21. Likely not...but we didn't win and the 18 year old who lost it for us was a Marsella pick, endorsed by Terry,,,and not one of the homegrown youth players. I feel for Roberts because I think that losing a match as a result of his failure is going to do bugger all for his confidence going forward....but I do wonder why he was picked to take the penalty in the first place......I really do! And slating the lad and pinning sole blame is going to boost his confidence? Get a flippin' grip! I really cannot ever come to understand folk who pick the negative out of any situation, good, bad or indifferent! Particularly those who pin blame in such a manor as you have done in the above. For the entire season so far we have been fantastic, and the lads were so so close to making all our dreams of a first major final come true. 4 defeats all season, 2nd in the SPL, still in the Scottish Cup, a chance of Europe, a chance of a top-six finish - and you pick on an 18 year old for missing 1 effort on goal!!? Disgracful...

  23. The club have exceeded 2000 sales, and more fans are enquiring about tickets, even at this late stage
  24. The Four In Hand will be welcoming the Travel Club buses, and I believe children are permitted in this establishment. It may be a case of designated children/family areas inside the bar, but I personally dont know. I've never been. This bar is situated just a short distance from the Stadium on Easter Road. Anyone travelling on the 9am buses from the stadium are advised to make their way back to the Four In Hand post match, as Lothian and Borders Police will close the roads around the stadium for 40 minutes after the game. I am hoping these buses will collect from here
  25. Colleagues dropped cars off in Grantown On Spey today and said the weather there is horrendous. Snow started to fall near Inverness Airport an hour ago, but it's not lying.
