rofl Pretty unfair to 'rofl' and bring this comment up, considering those that read DD's tweet would have been of the same opinion. 2 months on, he has proved his worth in our squad and seems haapy to put on the shirt for ICT. I hope he stays and continues to improve

A few of my mates down south are big blues fans, and I get the gossip from them often. I asked the question of Rooney and it seem's he's actually been rather unfortunate. They inform me that although Adam was doing well in pre season and at the start of the campaign, he's lost out to zigic and wood. king is also doing well, all at the same time that adam picked up a knock in training (apparently). A loan out looks possible in January,

Ties to be played the weekend 7/8 Jan 2012, to coincide with the English and Scottish cup competitions. SPECIAL RULES APPLY: Bowlers are limited to their ?1 and CAN NOT re-invest any winnings Bets are to be placed on English FA and/or Scottish Cup games ONLY The winner of the ties is the player who receives the most return from their ?1. If a player fails to 'bowl' all of their ?1 the usual rules will apply: i.e they'll forfeit any un-placed dosh and risk elimination from the tournament should the cup chiefs feel that player has gained an unfair tactical advantage in doing so. Anyone wishing to get involved in the FA(ckin) Kant Kap must first join the league. To do so, let us know via PM or on any 10pB related topic

Following on from the success that has been 10p Bowling [in league format] the draw for the first round of the "FAckin Kap" will take place this weekend. Players from up and down the country will be watching in great anticipation to see if there are any potential Giant Killings. CapitalCaley, having suffered from 3 'Joonyas' in just 5 weeks, will be looking to avoid the League Leader, VonScheihallion, whilst there could be any number of family rivalries with the Amigos Gringo, Zinaad and Yorkie, and Taffy and MoneyWellSpent all in the competition. Watch this space for details of the draw. Any people interested in joining the great experience that is 10p Bowling, please read the rules and get in touch via and 10p Bowling thread Happy Bowling

10p Bowling is an online betting game played by consenting gamblers. The bowling window opens at 6pm on Friday and closes at 9pm on Sunday. All bets must mature while the window is open. Any bets placed on events that occur when the window is closed are deemed void. When the bowling window opens, all players have ?1, which must be spent in accordance with the following rules. The maximum bet that can be placed in a single transaction is 10p (hence the name of the game). A player may bet on any event, or combination of events, so long as the odds can be proven at a turf accountant. There is no limit to the number of events that a player may group together in a single accumulator. Combination betting is allowed so long as the total stake remains within the 10p limit. There is no requirement for a player to have physically placed the bet with a bookmaker; merely that the odds quoted are accurate and auditable. The following are examples of valid bets: Suppose that A, B, C, D and E are events. A @4/7. 10p stake for 16p return. A @4/7 + B @6/5. 10p stake for 35p return. A @4/7 + B @6/5 + C @8/13. 10p stake for 56p return. A @4/7 + B @6/5 + C @8/13 + D @Evens. 10p stake for ?1.12 return. A @4/7 + B @6/5 + C @8/13 + D @Evens + E @13/20. 10p stake for ?1.84 return. A @4/7 + B @6/5 + C @8/13 + D @Evens + E @13/20. 10 doubles (AB, AC, AD, AE, BC, BD, BE, CD, CE, DE) @ 1p for a max 33p return. A @4/7 + B @6/5 + C @8/13. 3 doubles (AB, AC, BC) @ 3p for a max 29p return + a 1p accumulator for 6p return. Total stake 10p. In the case of a void event, it will be removed from an accumulator, leaving the remaining events intact. A single void event will result in the return of the player's stake. In the first round of betting, until a player has staked their entire pound, all bets must be placed at 10p. Any winnings from the first round of betting may be placed with any stake up to, but not exceeding 10p. In the instance where a player has placed, for example, 70p worth of bets, the remaining 30p must also be placed in units of 10p. Thereafter, bets may be placed at less than 10p. The money remaining in a player's possession is referred to as their kitty. Once a player's kitty is empty (ie zero), no further bets may be placed until the kitty has been replenished (with winnings). A player who has an empty kitty with no bets in play is out of the game for that week and must declare 0p. There is no requirement to play 10p Bowling every week. However once a player has placed any of their ?1 in a given week, the remainder can only be redeemed as a kitty once the entire pound has been played. For example, if a player only bets 30p while the bowling window is open, the remaining 70p will be forfeited. A player who does not play four weeks in a row will be removed from league table. 10p Bowling demands honesty and transparency from all players and therefore, when placing a bet, a player must also declare their kitty. For example: "Inverness @4/7. 10p stake for 16p return. Kitty 40p.". 40p denotes the kitty after the bet has been placed. There is no need to declare losses (which will be many and often) but wins must be declared in order that the other players may audit the original bet. When declaring winnings, each player must also declare their kitty. For example: "Inverness won for 16p return. Kitty 56p". 56p denotes the kitty after the winnings have been added. At the close of the bowling window (or beforehand if no further betting is anticipated), each player must declare their final kitty for that week. Each kitty is then added into the ongoing league table. The league season starts at beginning of either the English or Scottish league programme (whichever is earlier) and ends at the latest finish of either the English or Scottish season. A player wishing to join the 10p Bowling League during the course of the season does so in joint last place (in the league table) in the week of joining. A player returning to the league after an absence of more than four weeks will re-join in joint last place. Further rules may be added as the game evolves and matures...

?120 notes is a bit out of my price bracket tbh capital. All i'm after is a basic bike to get me too and from work, thats it. Not bothered about branding, suspension, disc brakes or any of the other modern rubbish. Found a bike on eBay for ?5. Tempting as it was, the wheels were rusted to heck and looked like too much needed doing to get it back to 'roadworthy'.

I'm on the look out for a men's bicycle, preferably a mountain bike. Suspension is not really important - just a standard mountain bike will be fine. Good working condition and ready to use from purchase would be ideal. I've looked on eBay and there doesnt seem to be much about, and there's also not alot in the local rag that catches they eye - or it does but it's out of my price range. Halfords have bikes at half price at the moment, but i'm not really into all the extra suspention, disc brakes and all the other bits they have these days. Just a bog standard bike that i can use to commute to work is all i'm after If anyone is, or knows of anyone selling a bike, please let me know here or by pm. thanks
