NO detriment intended to Brechin but if that is the standard of football that is going to be shown on Sky tv then it wont be long before they take it off or the SFA will demand it's demise before Scotland's rateings drop beyond the depths of Hell. I have watched better football played in the late 50's early 60's in the welfare league! The Rangers however have just about found their true level. If Brechin hadn't shown them so much respect they could have hammered them. What a load of rotten cabbage or call it what you will.

Touchy touchy maybe ! Well it does get a bit wearing harping back to the past all the time ten4, Onwards and at em I always say. out of the trenches and into the fray Perseverence and courage plus Freshness of pla,y Bring on the new lads the'll win us the day.

Here we go! A coupleof iffy performances and thoughts are turning to the past players. Whatever will we do without them ? Well we had them when they were at their best and there were moans and groans when we had them then. Even though they did give good service to the Club I can't say ICT reached dizzy heights in the SPL or won a lot of silverware. So let's keep them in the past and give the new lads a chance to show what they can do. We are already seeing a better class of football from them and I'm sure with a ferw testing games under their belts things will gell. I don't think they are going to let us down that badly that we should be thinking back to those who MIGHT have have brought us greater glory had they still been with us. Remember they are now past their best. Many of this seasons team are still maturing. Bring on the games!!!

strangely, I'm beginning to think that you aren't too fond of the old firm either Oddquine, surely it hasn't anything to do with bias, or their illustrious history? I mean to say they are the benefactors of all the other Scottish clubs feeding them scraps in case they starve. Should the minnows starve then they wouldn't have anyone to play with except eachother that would get boring

'' Rangers '' will no doubt claim the lion's share of any money generated from the deal. This is punishment for their ancestors fleecing the rest of Scottish football. Why are they getting so much good publicity and money thrown at them, It is disgraceful, why are they getting a deal at all? This can only detract from the glory of reaching the SPL cheapening the efforts of all these honest teams that have struggled through the seasons and leagues, striving to attain the heights and gaining just reward for doing so. I have never been a fan of the OF. They have been mollycoddled for years by the powers that be, Media included and it looks like all sins forgiven once again. There is still a chance that this will not come to fruition, they can still be banned but are there people out there and in place strong enough and honest enough to do so. I doubt it !

CaleyD I would like to think your prediction will win out, my concerns however revolve around new leadership in the reconstruction. Where is this going to come from, have SFA, SPL or SFL got the people to do the job. The last thing Scottish football needs now is another ****ed up league based on power struggle and greed. Dont get me wrong I entirely aggree with the content of your post I just hope they dont rush into things blindly to get the season underway. I would rather see a delay to the start and have a well thought out fair and honest reform.

If money is so important to the SFA why has so much been spent on this whole fiasco, obviously now, there has been no intent to abide by the rules or punish the guilty club's misdemeanours despite all precedents or the gravity of the situation. Instead of squandering money on all these meetings etc. Quite obviously Scottish football is being led by a dictatorship devoid of scruples and now it seems that if we have interpreted Mr Cameron's words correctly then the same must be said of the ICT leadership and possibly many other clubs too The only good thing to come out of ths seems to be the showing from the fans that integrity should reign over money. be it naievety or not a lot of us do care what is right and wlhat is wrong. If Scottish football is now to be ruined then we all know where the blame lies. Finally I do not believe it need be the end. Restructure yes that is a necessity but the doom and gloom scenario need not happen. Find the right leadership and let Scotland set a trend that will be welcomed by many of the small countries and some of the larger countries too.

First and next step should be removal from office of all those Rangers biased officials who are claiming to be the saviours of Scotish football. Extraordinary, emergency meetings should be called now and a complete overhaul of all bodies pertaining to Scotttish football should sit down and thrash out an entirely new concept that will restore SF to a credible entity. There could not be a better time to start.
