  1. Not only do we have a Christmas and New Year home fixture but if your working between the two games and cant make the midweek Hibs match, its being shown on BBC Alba
  2. http://www.scotprem.com/content/default.asp?page=s2&newsid=10686 A bit stingy of them not to offer it to away fans too.
  3. I believe you had to get a voucher or token, I was going to try and get some during the week to handout but its a promotion for the home only
  4. Its good to see that we actually have so few managers to choose from. Hearts have probably had 20 managers during the period of our last 6. Would make an interesting game of top trumps if you rated managers for Tactical awareness Fitness training Scouting abilities Profile (are they well known) Managerial success I think we would have to add a few more managers from other clubs or the game would finish in about 20 seconds Regarding the above titles how would you rate our last 5 managers and why.
  5. Is a 1/3rd off all train fares for a year a bargain for ?14 worth of tesco vouchers. http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/browse.aspx?N=4294967191
  6. Dods,Tokely,Shinnie,Munro,Mann.
  7. Esson Pieman tokes dods shinnie Hayes cowie black rankin robson Rooney A few more games and I think more of the current squad will push themselves into the ultimate team.
  8. Bollocks. The ubiquitous Bollocks phrases. Golden bollocks, Grande bollocks, dogs bollocks, dougals bollocks, bollocks dougal. When does you fishing permit expire Dougal.
  9. I've been looking at some stats and Rooney's 1st SPL season was 10 starts, 20 subs and 5 goals. It wasn't till Rooney was back in the 1st division that his confidence really grew setting himself up for a successful year back in the SPL and earning himself a move to a Championship club. Even in his most successful season with us, he scored 16 goals from 80 shots so at a ratio of 16/80. 1 in every 5 attempts went in. Theres not much to compare Tade with yet but going by the Rooney stats hes only 2 goals short of Rooney's 1st season tally already and seeing as it took Rooney 5 attempts to score each goal in what you would call a good season then I think Tade can afford to relax into his game a bit more in front of goal. Looking in to it a bit deeper a lot of those goals were from the penalty spot so really its taken Rooney about 10 attempts to score 1 goal in open play. So when Tade is in the box and giving the goalie the eyes, I hope he thinks about Mr 1 in 10 before pulling the trigger. If you had to sit a test, theres 0% pressure if the pass mark is 10 %
  10. If you're REALLY keen Bet365 will give you 66/1 on him finishing as the top scorer in the SPL... Worth a few quid, I reckon. Im starting to think you may be on to somthing there with the quality and frequency of service the man is getting from the rest of the team. Last season was Miller 21, Hooper 20, Goodwillie 17. 2 of them have moved on and Tade is currently only 1 goal behind Hooper.
  11. I was going to reveal my organ after shinnies goal but then thought someone may take offense.
  12. Why only 20 goals :irritated: some people are far too pessimistic
  13. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/15142500.stm I see they didnt show all of the attempts our strikers had as its only a 5 min slot. Was also good for the school pupils attending to get a mention, they'll be going home with lots of stories to tell their pals and parents.
  14. Good to get the 3 points, bad that we didnt score 5 today and thats just counting some of the easy ones. Its fine and well saying Tade and Foran put in a good shift and tried hard but would you say the same of a defender, our back 4 were excellent today but if the opposition kept running past the same defender and scoring all the time who would defend them and say well they try hard and put in a good shift when they arent doing the job theyre paid to do.The same with forwards they should be the most likely ones of the team to put the ball in the net when given the chance. Play one or the other up front, if you play them both up front it puts more pressure on the rest of the team
  15. Caption comp 'fans react as Brewster is kicked out of stadium'
  16. Give me a song and i'll sing it like I mean it. You set my world on fire I love you more every day You can run you can run and you do no wrong I love you more every day You set my world on fire And I don't care what they say You can run but you know where you belong I love you more every day What more can I say (Set my world on fire) And I don't care, I don't care what they say I love you more, I love you more every day In case you dont know how the song goes- The Feeling, Set my world on fire, except we will sing it better.
  17. Sorted it for you. Who knows, Celtic were nothing special against County, a scramble in the box and an og won the game, hardly what you would expect from a club the size of Celtic.
  18. Scottish cup odds 33/1 combined with EW at 1/2 so quids in for reaching the final. Is that good enough odds? as the odds will probably lower after beating Celtic.
  19. ------------Esson Piermayr Tokes Golobart G Shinnie -------Davis----Morrison Ross---Sutherland--Foran ---------Tade or perhaps A Shinnie in Sutherland's role if you want to win more free kicks as he will go down if theres contact.Chipper for Foran, Sutherland out on right, McKay for Ross to play behind Tade. What we really need is a bunsen burner, some beakers, vodka and cheese.
  20. Tade is a real pain to the opposition but the final touch lets him down. He would be the perfect man in a 4 5 1 though, similar to when we had Marius, as for all the hype and money problems that came with him he wasn't a goal scorer, he was a right pain to the defense, he used to pull the opposition in and create spaces for our 5 mid fielders to finish off. Maybe Tade needs to lay the ball off to others more often. I think we will struggle to keep hold of G Shinnie, the only time he doesn't win the ball is when hes been fouled.
  21. Alex is looking for a cheap lift, any room in the luggage compartment.
  22. Did we sign G Junior or did he find another club.
  23. ?15
  24. Being relegated brought far more disappointment than I ever thought it would, so I can sympathize with any club who gets relegated. Some SPL clubs seem to think that they are totally immune to relegation and have become desensitized to the reality of it. With regards to the above posters comments, Neil Doncaster has experienced relegation,TWICE and even lost his job over it. With that being such a recent memory, why was he so keen to allow it to happen to 3 clubs in the SPL ? It will take me a long time to fathom out why someone who has experienced that pain is so keen to relegate a quarter of the league. Unless he genuinely doesn't give a flying f@#k. I know thats all in the past put on the back burner, but its the same brain thats thinking up these ideas.
