  1. It can be misleading anyway. If most of the team were to have a bad game then its easy to pick the best of the rest, although on most occasions I find it unfair to award 5,3 and 1 points to just three players and even then the player with only 1 point probably deserves more. I would be happier to award 5,4,3,2,1 to players.
  2. If they want to increase profits how about having 3 people working the bar instead of 2 when the old firm are playing the queues are like the pie qs of old.

Says in the Hn fraser article that Tel can get 1 more player.
  4. We may now be in 10th but the most uplifting thing for me was how well the team played.
  5. Full story here I would imagine he will have his hands full with Tullochs starting up again anyway.
  6. Great team effort and every player contributed to the win. You would think that team has been playing together for years.
  7. I hope so. We can have loads of come and go players that on paper you would think could do a good job but without the togetherness and unity of the squad it counts for little, thats why a small team from the Highlands put John Barnes out of a job, on paper he had a bunch of players that should have beaten most teams in the SPL but his team were beaten by a unified team who looked out for each other, who took ownership and responsibility for what they did and always won as a team. A lot of our youngsters have that unity so it would be good to see that continue into the first team.
  8. I only watched the first half then had to catch a ferry, by the sound of things I picked the wrong half to watch. I dont know who Aberdeen feared most in the second half ICT or Mr B, the Dons dressing room is right next door and I was told he wasnt mincing his words.I believe they struggled to hear Craig Brown over Tel.
  9. Unless the traffic is 45 mph or slower on the A96 you wont usually beat it taking the back road to Aldearn unless its between about 4- 5.30 when the traffic stops in Nairn. I heard on MFR that theres no traffic lights at Baxters over the w/e but the theres a diversion through the Culloden distributor road till 10 am
  10. Scotland kicked out of Europe in August is a posibility.

We had better put barrier tape around our box and give the players H vis shirts. I'm actually embarrassed for the officials who up held the red card, if you want to cover up for the mistakes of a ref who wouldnt have even had a clear sight of the foul, then for your own credibility dont do it for a match shown on international tv.
  12. Travel tips Inv - Abb There is currently traffic lights at Baxters due to roadworks (I dont know if this is the case on a Saturday) theres an info sign as you leave Elgin, if it says more than a 10 min delay at road works turn right about 1.5 miles up the road, take the B9103, turn right at end of road, turn left a few miles later and join the A95 to Keith (dont know about busses on this route but will certainly keep the pasangers awake)
  13. I'll be there for half of the game
  14. I checked STV player but tonights news isnt available yet, maybe later. Is 1 mill much for full control, all it does is pays people to surrender their shares, has further investment in the club been suggested.
  15. I think its way too early to tell, perhaps after 37 games it might be clearer
  16. I think that would be fair, unless its a deliberate challenge on the player, Aberdeen raised this problem before when they finished a game with 9 men.
  17. Hope they are on the mend soon but at least the pressure is off them to come back too soon as their replacements are playing exceptionally well.
  18. What a great team performance, a 0-0 draw would have been a more genuine and unbiased result but we cant let Celtic pull away from Rangers too early can you Mr ref. We didnt break down their defense but they didnt break down ours either. Even the subs did well, the second penalty was dodgy too so we cant really blame Aldred and still kept a clean sheet, enter Ross into the arena and we get slick one touch passing going forward, Sutherland comes on and straight away hes getting into good positions and becomes a threat around the box every time he has the ball.He certainly deserves a start and if Tade gets the last 20 minutes then its his chance for the glory as he out muscles the tired defense.
  19. After watching the replay on sky plus, Tokely clearly got the ball before man. Even if he didnt get Naismith he was going down anyway as Rangers were getting desperate as they couldnt break us down in normal play. Appeal, appeal, appeal.
  20. I also read it as quoted from the article. 600,000 fans have stopped attending in the past five years. To me that says 600,000 less clicks of the turnstiles over the 1140 matches played in that period. I make that down by 526.3 per match. Pretty meagre amount really considering standards have dropped so much in the period. I noticed that the sum I did in my head 600,000 / 5yrs =125,000 was a bit out? how did I manage to get a band 1 at school a million years ago. So the real figure you have quoted is even lower than mine.
  21. Actually, it's 600,000 less per annum...so about 16,000 a week (give or take). The decline was already happening before the latest recession hit. It's doubtless had an impact, but it's certainly not the main cause. Must have misread the BBC link, I read it as 600,000 over 5 years.

As mentioned we have got Nessie. Rangers are bringing up some favorite Ibrox characters, called Weegie, Alchie and Druggie. And will probably sing their favorite song. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=heil+dir+im+siegerkranz&view=detail&mid=FBFD0EE455ACF5A62CD2FBFD0EE455ACF5A62CD2&first=0&FORM=LKVR
  23. Useless statistics really, you can alter any figures to make them look better. 600,000 over 5 years?? What a scoop, should make the front page. 125,000 a year- 38 games x 6 fixtures So 125,000 fans less pa over 228 games = 549 a match or 3289 less over a set of weekend fixtures. People dont have as much cash, throw into the mix a lot of midweek evening fixtures from postponements and planed mid week fixtures, 6pm KOs, Monday night football, etc. then 549 isnt a lot thats not taking into account that the Dons and Hibs are pants and their fans are staying away. Taking the above into consideration, then I would say that the head count is far better than to be expected with all of the obstacles put in front of the fans. If Scottish income was divided by attendance money, then you would say that a greater amount of available income as a percentage is being spent on Scottish football. by comparing recent figures with 5 years ago. It wasnt really worth a story. When I mention pretty useless statistics I was referring to the news article and not fans input
  24. Perhaps a mod would like to move this to the correct location.

Was that not Garry Wood and Rooney fecking up the chance against 'well doing the above just a few games before the split in our relegation season? I actually thought it was Barrowman but come to think of it 'Barrowman through on goal doesnt really sound right'
