  1. For those out there who arent psycic cycic a mind reader, I was referring to pubs in Inverness, as when the St Johnstone v ICT game was on tv I thought there would be a greater interest in the pubs. So I just wondered what would be a good pub to congregate in.

What did you think of the fans against Hibs. I thought there would be a few more than there were especially seeing as its the first game of the season. The new singing section started off a little quiet as the elite of Section E and G found their feet but there was power and force behind chants when they got going and also plenty of noise from all around the stadium as the fans egged on the players for that elusive goal.
  3. ICT 3 - 2 Celtic, Just about sums it up, who on earth would want to renew a ST after that game
  4. Will there be a social gathering, where will be the best pub with the best tv screen to watch the game at 5.30. The St Johnstone v ICT coverage/interest was poor in the pubs, most pubs didnt know/care that it was on.

At the start of last season he seemed a little bit lost coming on to play for ICT, a few months later, seeing him on the pitch you knew he was more than capable on playing his part. There have been a lot of comings and goings over the summer and I would imagine things are a lot different now but thats football and the same group of players dont stay together forever and to experience it for the first time hopefully hasn't had too much of an impact. There is a lot more competition in midfield now and I know how good he can be so I hope that things come good again soon. PS good luck with playing for Scotland
  6. Petty good draw, still have to win games though but certainly no group of death.
  7. Feel sorry for the players who put in a good performance and got not even a point for their effort. Quality goalie, the back line is looking solid again, central midfield was impressive,Doran has come back an even better player, you know what to expect from Hayes and Sutherland played well, the team is almost looking like a top six team all we need now are strikers, we know what to expect from Foran which is to bust his gut and chip in with goals and we know that Tade will try hard but isnt an out and out goal scorer, so I'm not quite sure where the goals are going to come from. I think the team will improve more with time but without an out and out goal scorer to play with either Tade, Foran or whoever, I think we will be just about ok but the game is about goals and without them we may not do as well as hoped.

I had a wee bit of a dig about the ICT web site being a bit inept a little while ago, I take it all back, what a professional looking site. Well done to all those involved in setting up and maintaining the site
  9. I didnt mind donating, seeing as this site is completely free for its forum users and considering the amount of time I spend on here, a ten pound donation doesn't seem that much. Even without taking into account the fact that I may win a shirt etc, at the end of the season.
  10. I think he will move to Rangers now for 1.45 M, pure guess. Hes gone from Goodwillie to Badwillie now hes Insufficient evidence Willie.

like the formation and players, think they seneaked past us a few times on the wing with the 4-2-3-1 against hibs before. but swap the wingers. Ill be there, I heard about 5000 of us are coming.
  12. Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, Speaking words of wisdom let it be.
  13. As Scotty mentioned we didnt sound that bad on the radio, so I hope the players arent mentally beating themselves up over the scoreline, save it for Hibs. Forever the optimist still looking forward to the first home game of the season and it sounds like Tansey is a good signing.
  14. I'm looking forward to seeing the new improved singing section after merging the best of section E and G.
  15. Can anyone tell me if BBC ALBA do highlights of all the games at 5.30 (now that its on Freeview ch8) or does it just cover the selected match.
  16. Lift me up, lift me up, Piermayr.
  17. Regarding speaking to fans, Ive seen people with mikes at TCS speaking to fans at a million miles an hour then shoving a mike in a supporters face and hoping for the best.
  18. Computer says no. Must be looking for a higher calibre of player

Fortunately we dont get sucked into the Catholic Protestant hatred thing and if it was to happen at our ground it would more than likely be individuals who are actually Old Firm fans first and foremost anyway and would soon get told to shut up by those around them. But how loosely can the label sectarianism be used. A player could get stick from the fans for whatever reason and it could be quite ignorant of the police/stewards to assume that because the fans are winding up the likes of Lafferty or Hooper etc it is due to racial hated. Craig Brown used the word regarding the abuse Richard Foster received due to playing for Rangers.I dont know if he was booed for playing for a team that the Aberdeen fans have a long term dislike for or if it was more linked to religion.I would assume it was the former, still pretty immature to be booing your own players anyway. Will the banter between ourselves at the dump and the caravan dwellers have to end So how will it affect us.
  20. I must get my eyes checked I thought you had typed "Dirtier than a Gypsy".
  21. If I could put Sutherland,Ross and Barrowman in the same sentence it would be to say that two of those mentioned have the belief in their ability to curve a ball round the keeper and into the far corner of the net and one believes that hes so good that punting a ball in the direction of goal will win the game. I think the Pars may struggle.
  22. He certainly deserves a testimonial but I think I would prefer if he played in a legends team, as we are still to play the caravan dwellers in a charity match for Raigmore hospitals childrens ward appeal, It would be a shame if fans chose one game over the other against the Countay. So I would assume if Grant played in a legends team then both games would be well supported.
  23. After releasing so many players and stalling on getting replacements I was getting hesitant But my confidence is growing reminding myself that we still have a lot of quality players that didnt leave the club, with a few of them still to reach their peak,of what I have seen of our youth they play to a very good standard for their age and our new signings arent just names picked from a hat in desperation, they are players who have been watched and wanted by the gaffer. So I would say that Im confident that we can do well, as long as the players believe in their ability then they deserve to do well.
