  1. I read that Storey was going to the Buddies
  2. Gimme hope, DoumbouyaHope, DoumbouyaGimme hope, Doumbouya'Fore the morning comeGimme hope, DoumbouyaHope, DoumbouyaHope before the morning come
  3. Looks like were gonna need a bigger boat.
  4. No one is talking for putting the long term aims of the club in jeopardy. I don't agree with overspending either but if it cost the club £1,000,000 when it was relegated then if its possible to invest an additional something to keep it afloat then surely you would rather invest 5-10% of that potential loss in the team knowing full well that an additional two places in the league would recoup the money anyway. Nothing wrong with taking prudent precautionary measures, which is exactly what the club is doing as the gaffer is talking of bringing a couple of extra players in. Not directed at you but we often hear of us constantly punching above our weight, well what about Motherwell and their success or their players McFadden or Pearson as an example. We aren't far away from finding our own gems with the quality of football vastly improving at a junior level in the area. Hamilton v Motherwell Derby only had 3526 attendees. We are no longer the wee highland club that has come to visit the top flight for a novelty experience, it's now our home and it's up to everyone to pull together and secure the clubs future.
  5. Spot on Charles your absolutely correct.√ Err sorry but that's incorrect, X. Who did Yogi find and recruit to win the cup?
  6. Was just wondering but what are the clubs intentions regarding next season's strip, will it be for one or two seasons. As the shirt sponsors have been let down a tad to say the least, are we just as well moving forward with a new design right now with the backing of current / new, shirt sponsors, Whether it's a good cup run or relegation battle/ play offs, there's money to be made. If fans want to nail the colours to the mast as a show of solidarity then it would be good to have the colours in the first place.
  7. You have overlooked some factors Charles. •There is no rent to pay for the stadiums, this frees up additional cash. •Having the ground as collateral opens doors for funding ( not really a necessity just now but an option all the same) If all the other teams around us are playing out of their skins then we need to worry but they aren't. Fans of other clubs have also been asking questions of their managers and their backers at some stage or another. It's now swung round to our club and it's just one to take on the chin and get on with things. The players need something to play for whether it's the manager, the club, the fans, family, pride or even their job, they have to play for something. Not with a sense of desperation but with tenacity and strength. The teams around us are beatable and they will be beaten. Doing the homework on the opponent's, their tactics and their players would help as we are getting caught out.( Might be a job for the media team, looking for the weaknesses in other teams, if it doesn't happen already, with input from the injured players) We have a good team, if the team can believe that then we are half way there.
  8. I thought it was a lack of goals.
  9. It would be good to stop letting the past influence the present. Only the current match matters.
  10. I think the away support will be excellent, with a couple of thousand Caley Thistle brave hearts egging the players on with every move. No point dwelling on what's happened to date, there's everything to play for at 3pm tomorrow, it's a fresh start. 3-1 win.
  11. I think you stand alone when it comes to blaming Donald Park. For pretty obvious reasons.
  12. I would imagine that in the 10 of the 11 seasons mentioned the bottom team had been adrift from the rest of the pack by now. Wells getting well beat regardless of league position.
  13. Well done, what a turn around, I think we are now 2 points behind Rangers and 4 behind Celtic.
  14. Rock star rod. "And remember, don't forget those who are less fortunate than ourselves. A little kindness especially at this time of year goes a long way"
  15. Only said in jest. Let's hope the flood lights stay on long enough to finish the match at the energy stadium.
  16. Good to hear so many positive comments, bring on the well on Wednesday and Merry Christmas to all.
  17. The Polworth and Mackay's Fairytale of new york
  18. Hopefully shouldn't be a problem, the wind has at least brought some warmth which keeps the snow at bay, yesterday was far worse with heavy snow on A9 and torrential rain Stirling way and today just reminded me of a typical winters day on the west coast. The harsh weather suits us more than Rangers.
  19. It's Caleys time; there's no need to be afraid It's Caleys time we let in light and we banish shadows And in our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy Throw your arms around the world it's Caleys time But say a prayer to pray for the other ones It's Caleys time It's hard, but when you're having fun There's a world outside your window And it's a world of dread and fear Where the only water flowing is Derek Adams stream of tears And the Christmas bells that ring there Are the clanging chimes of doom Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you And there won't be stolen Drums in Hamilton this Christmas time The greatest gift they'll get this year is astro turf, where nothing ever grows, no rain or football flows Do they know it's Caleys time at all? Here's to you, raise a glass for ev'ryone Rock star Rods song is just a bit of fun Do they know it's Caleys time at all? Feed the fish Feed the fish Spread the word Let them know it's Caleys time again Spread the word Let them know it's Caleys time again
  20. I've put in a complaint to the mods as you have deliberately excluded the other Teletubbies
  21. Keep up the good work. Great to see the team climbing the table.
  22. Has one of the team dressed up as Andy Considine?
