Dubious Honour (sp)
Well so much for voting for the 10 team SPL and supposedly doing it for the good of Scottish football, where the real underlying motive is clearly to get more money for the 1st division, as being a realist 2000 fans cant really support an SPL club and knowing that before long they would be back there anyway.

ICT -V- Hearts : Matchday Thread
What a start to the game, unbelievable, ICT were playing so well you would have actually thought you were watching an EPL team take on Hearts, what a faultless, professional, creative and well organized team performance. Really looking forward to the next game and Hamilton have done us a wee favor today by beating Hibs too. More training required for officials though.

Hearts roll call
For anyone heading up the road, take your time, no point breaking the speed limit just to save a couple of minutes.

Games until the split
A few people that Ive spoken to are happy that we haven't been relegation candidates in our first year back in the SPL. Although a top six is still a possibility and I think we will have to see what fate has in store for the mid week fixtures. If United win then I think ICT will definitely need us in Kilmarnock on Saturday.

Pitch Inspection***GAME OFF***
I dont think you should be calling Andy Muirhead a grade a **nt as I feel this would be defamatory to grade A **nts. Doing a spell check, Muirhead was highlighted and gave me the chance to Ignore or Change, out of the suggestions I cant quited decide if airhead or misread is more apt. Andy Airhead has got a kind of ring to it, right enuff

Ayrshire away day
For us to overtake Motherwell all three games are 'most important'. Killie are looking to top DU. They know they are safe in top six so have no real pressure on them so thats going to be a hard one for us. I can see Well going 4 clear of us today so the fight will be tough. Mind you my predictions have been wrong in the past. Just trying to rally the troops for what is looking to be the most important away game of the season.

Pitch Inspection***GAME OFF***
Thats a good point and if there was money in it from tv I cant see Hearts saying no but helping out a fellow club should be suffice, if we can get a tv slot it would certainly bridge the gap in lost revenue from the Celtic cup game.

Ayrshire away day
Well, were down to the final away day before the split, with all to play for and its in Ayrshire too. How about mustering the mighty ICT army and lay siege to the village called Kilmarnock next weekend. With a gap opening up between 5th and 6th place in the league table this may be the most important away game before the end of the season. Try your best not to miss it and make it an Ayrshire away day to remember.

Pitch Inspection***GAME OFF***
Thursday 14th April is looking like the best date for the rearranged fixture. Its a Europa league date and not a Champions league fixture. Celtic are already playing other teams midweek before the split but this date would give them the longest break between games ie Saturday, Tuesday, us Thursday? and a cup game on the Sunday. This seems fairest otherwise you have to start changing other fixtures against Celtic inconveniencing other teams too without any any gain. We would of course have a couple more days rest than Celtic but that would be the case of any team who plays them during a second midweek game.If we dont get that slot which seems the most logical date then I would say that ICT are being treated unfairly as other games are being played on a Wednesday except that week when they play St Johnstone on the Tuesday and its a 6pm ko which gives them an even longer rest.

Games until the split
No point looking in to it too much, we will just have to see what destiny has in store for us. Its still great to be in this position with 3 games to go

Choose ICT
I was thinking you meant Ian Black.

Away Fans Issue....
Good to forewarn the people involved but will probably fall on deaf ears. Some fans can be as thick as mince and some Stewards can be too, so you would think there would be some common ground to reach an understanding. The problem with stewards is not just at away grounds, I can recall a few years ago waiting my turn to leave ICT's car park when a car drove round the back of lines of cars to be stopped by a Steward and I overheard him saying out loud to the driver 'So you thought you could sneak round the back you F##king C##t' (think I could see kids in the back of their car too),I thought a bit over zealous for someone wanting to leave the car park, I am assuming that the said person didnt keep their job very long. So unless you can prove that the stewards are being overzealous and unreasonable its better to do as they ask.

ICT v Celtic
We could always do a Motherwell and beat them 2-0. Unless Celtic hold out for a draw.

Local derby planned for september
What a great idea, its good to hear of our local clubs giving something back to the community, the real winners of the game will be the Hospital, the fans who have kindly donated and the clubs who have donated their services, so the way I see it there will be no losers at the match.

New League Cup Sponsors
Initially I thought this was a good Idea using money from crime to promote football but The government have taken the place of a potential sponsor to pay for the cup Would it have been better to sit back and see what private sector offers come in first and then look at involvement as a partnership with a company if investment is low. Could a million pounds be invested more wisely to help the youth deprived areas as opposed to giving football clubs money instead Or perhaps the public would show favoritism to a private sector company which invests £1,000,000 in deprived areas as opposed to promoting itself from being linked with a football cup. A few companies have had bad publicity of late regarding the 'pay your taxes' demos.

Roy McBain
We didnt have a big squad of players in years gone by but regarding the players that we had, the football just flowed and Roy was part of that success He is one of the people who have made ICT what it is today. I wish him well.

how many people are interested in abstainers
Thanks for pointing that out, that would have been embarrassing, the international press conference for 10 am GMT has now been called off, the headline story of 'How many people have an unhealthy interest in abstainers regarding the merger of Caley and Thistle but have never set foot in either ground' is spreading around the globe like wildfire.

Least favourite team
Excluding OF,R.C and the YOUR NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE club, it would be Falkirk,Partick,Hamilton I thought Dundee would have been mentioned more for their seemingly endless money pot of last year but you cant help but admire them for climbing out of the relegation zone the hard way

Flag
Is anyone actually interested in chipping in towards a flag? The more I thing about it the more I like the thought of a CTO flag. I dont really care who keeps it or looks after it as long as its there to be seen on match days.

FAO Drummers
Good of you to get this sorted, lets hope that the right people get hold of them this time around IE people who aren't scared to play them. Does anyone bring bagpipes.

Dundee Utd -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Our spring of discontent is mainly due to being too good for too long whilst others teams have been below par, if our success was spread out a bit more through the season, would we be far happier. If the wins were spread out which saw us creep into a position where we would be in contention for a top six with only 3 games to go I would be happy with that.
