Sounds promising for Saturday, they cant call the game off because the A9 is blocked, theres always the A96. thats my plan b tomorrow as im on the wrong side of the A9 the now.

Is that where you slept last night? didn't she let you in the house when you came home from the pub.

Thats salesman's patter, if they can get it to work at -10 it must be on their best possible conditions, just like a double glazing salesman would tell you how much you could save by replacing your windows, it might be worth looking at covering up the areas that are more prone to freezing
-
I would say down to the four of us now too. 12 points behind dundee with other teams closing in is too much for Patrick. and 17 points behind dundee with 2 games in hand is being very optimistic for the Pars.
-
You forgot to add Barrowman too. Just one off those things. If you count the cash coming in at the gate instead of the heads, the difference would be vast compared to last year,no TV money, hospitality takings down and no SPL cash. It was pretty severe last night, I thought it was quite mild today but a bottle of water had completely frozen overnight in the boot of the car.

I think this game may be rescheduled for the 9 or 10th of March. Otherwise the soonest is 13 or 14th of April.

Seeing as the roads are in a safe condition. I would have been happy for the game to go ahead and be abandoned at 3 pm (if that had to be the case) rather than call off a game 4 hours before kick off to suit new rules on giving fans notice, if it took that long to do, it must have been debatable and I'm sure it would have been OK for 3 pm. Ive just looked out the window and saw a pensioner taking his dog out for a walk in his t shirt, its that mild? Looks like some Queens fans are getting the chance to go to see some of the Snowman rally.

When we are 16 points ahead of the pack with 5 games to go I'm pretty certain that new deals would be made but intill we are in a safe position at the top of the table, there is no point making any pleas to the board. We could be in second place tomorrow, channel your energy there instead instead.

Yet another game off for county, their squad will be well feckered after playing all those midweek extra games. Just as well barowmun has arrived to save the day

When wilsononourwing started this post on 28th Dec we were on 28 points and Dundee were on 40 and had played the same amount of games. With Dundee looking like they would run away with the league. We are now on 37 points with a game in hand over Dundee and they are on 44 My question is what does he know that we don't ?

League rules state once into March all outstanding matches have to be played on the first available midweek, so clubs can't just leave games to be played. The rules doesn't quite put it like that, it's something along the lines of that all postponed games should be played in the first available midweek after the original scheduled date - the midweeks of January and Faburary are except from this rule. The only way it would be delayed until into April would be if County/Caley have other midweek games arranged. We'll probably end up doing a double header against each other If thats the case and the earliest fixtures have to be played first then the top 4 teams games' could look somthing like this ? sat 27/2 ICT V AYR AIRDRIE V QOS PARTICK V COUNTY RAITH V DUNDEE wed 3/3 ICT V COUNTY QOS V RAITH AYR V DUNDEE sat 6/3 COUNTY V RAITH DUNDEE V ICT QOS V PARTICK wed 10/3 RAITH V COUNTY DUNF V QOS MORTON V ICT sat 13/3 ICT V MORTON COUNTY AND DUNDEE IN CUP GAMES ( replays would add another fixture ) wed 17/3 COUNTY V QOS DUNF V DUNDEE sat 20/3 AYR V QOS COUNTY V ICT DUNDEE V AYR wed 24/3 QOS V COUNTY sat 27/3 QOS V DUNF COUNTY V DUNDEE PARTICK V ICT edited to make it stand out more

Did hear somone mention a 16 team league but you cant drop gate money so would imagine it would be home and away once and a league split 8/8 and play 7 more games =37 that would give county a good chance of getting in to the SPL the following year. I would say McGees days are numbered. the bizzare thing is he fielded a weaker team against Celtic, he got slated for that too, as he wanted the best team for the cup game.

Dundee are still the favourites with us in second http://www.oddscomparisons.com/football/sc...ivision/winner/ but you would probably expect that seeing as they already have the points on the board. Seeing as we are good on the road with a great vocal support to back the team and undefeated at home since 10/10/09 in all competitions I don't really think it makes much difference to us if we play home or away now but it seems to make more of a difference to the other teams, who seem to fare better at home so it could be a case of even more points dropped by the other teams seeing as they have a lot of away games. But we have our own games to concentrate on and at least our experienced players can continue playing in the SPL as a team and have the bottle to keep pushing on to win games when the prospect of lifting the cup becomes more of a reality. Other teams may bottle it in the run in to the last few games of the season, with the thought of promotion to the SPL. The Dundee team would be split up, with the players shown the door as a way of thanks for the cup if they won, as their backer looks for more prolific players for their SPL squad, but its back in our own hands now to ensure that doesn't happen.

me too :( ditto

What players do you think have come on the most since last year/the start of the season. For me the ones who have improved the most would be Easson, I would say currently the best in our league. Rooney, last season I would half expect his to miss the goal when he had a chance on goal, now every time he has the ball I expect grande balls to score. and Hayes he has improved a lot since the start of the season and is still getting better I think we would struggle to hold on to him even if we were currently an SPL team. I cant really comment on players that don't feature much at there is not much to make a comparison on and other who have played to a consistent high standard throughout cant really be commented on either. Any others that should be added.

Its probably better to cheer on our own team than slag off 'Barowman the legend' why bother.
-
Theres no real hurry to find a sponsor, especially as we still don't know what league we will be in next season. I mean SPL or 1st div,(so no wise cracks about administration) Will the economy pick up a bit in the next few months so there might be a bit more cash to spend on promoting a business/reducing the amount to pay the tax man. There is also the option of splitting up the shirt so a company logo could be on the chest, arms, etc
-
Shouldn't this be posted in memories. Lots could be said about great past and present players but Barrowman still gets a mention.
-
If Lional was poor, did killy put 2 men on him when he had the ball, he didnt like that when County did it to him as he didnt have the time and the space to clear the ball. When Rosco was in that position I noticed that Russel was providing a certain amount of cover and could back track and help out
-
Good luck to him, he was a perfect replacement for a high tempo Hayes in the second half, battled hard and would always track back to defend from midfield, if Barrowman was half as tenacious he would have got some time on the pitch as well.
-
I too would prefer if the supporters trust used its money to buy shares instead of presenting gifts to the club as a way of filtering out its own strength. In the long term the trust has a larger investment in the club and the club still gets the cash to spend as they wish. So both parties win.
-
I'm happy with the current squad, We are still very much in with a chance of winning and I would say that we have a SPL quality team so we don't even need to do much if we get promoted. Dundee on the other hand will probably sell/release a lot of their players as a way of thanks, if they get their club promoted and will be replaced by even more expensive players. so for their players success is failure.

Great news, We have had the, I'm keeping my options open and I'm waiting to play for an English club, I may join but I'm worth a lot of money, I cant score, its not my fault, its everyone Else's fault in the team, not mine, they are not good enough, they don't have the skill to give me the perfect pass so I cant score. I'm glad hes away, If it wasnt the arrogant comments in newspapers it was, playing half heartedly, failing to score which was what the extra pay was for & ICT subsequently losing and still having the hard neck to go out in town looking smug straight after a defeat.
