  1. A time for peace and good will and hope all your prayers and wishes come true at this special time of year. Best Wishes to all and as IHE would say Have a Merry Fecking X Mas !
  2. Turning to plumbing was what he wanted to do, as at the time, although he could play, I believe his heart wasn't in football and It wasn't a decision based on money. Now that he's got something to fall back on it would be good to see if he wants to test himself at a higher level for a few seasons, before age gets in the way.
  3. I know you mean well Sneckboy but unless you go to a 'mums market' you will soon realize its 95% mums that go there. No kids on a Saturday afternoon means extra free time with no kids around, I think it's you who implies women's work could be done, I was thinking the mums market would be a good way to spread the word regarding a football match watched by 85-90 % males
  4. Much the same as any corporate Christmas card where they want to strike the balance between Xmas and promoting their business. I would be pretty impressed if someone bought a season tickets on the back of seeing their neighbours ICT card, can't see it happening though on a card alone tbh. Maybe run a comp next Autumn to design one then. The mums market at the leisure centre might have been a good target audience for a stall and half season tickets for their kids and dads which also frees up mums Saturday afternoons. They usually have a high turnover of customers. Maybe one for the run up for next season
  5. Highlights are on alba tonight
  6. Just thought I would give this a bump on here too. https://m.facebook.com/MorayCaleyThistlesupportersclub/?refid=17&_ft_=top_level_post_id.1089120881127883%3Atl_objid.1089120881127883&__tn__=C Best of luck with it. Strathspey are in a good position too as a local community 16 seater bus for hire only charge, if these figures are still correct, 90p per mile and 60p after 100 miles. Providing the criteria is met.
  7. Did you lot only buy one pint and a dram to share. No wonder you lost the flag you must have been out of it if you got to hold the voddy and coke.
  8. Why not make it Monday then and stay dry if it rains
  9. That's a relief as long as it doesn't affect Richie's scoring abilities with his face the that's good news.
  10. Let's just put this one to bed eh, regardless of peoples plethora of political or religious knowledge or an indepth understanding of peoples psyche from far away lands. It doesn't belong here. "Caley Thistle This forum is for discussions that involve Caley Thistle either on or off the park. If your post is not football related, is not about Caley Thistle or doesnt fit in here for some other reason, please use one of the other forums."
  11. Thought this would sum up the season pretty well, hats off to young man who put this together. Beating Celtic at their very best and finally reaching the Scottish cup final was a biggie for me. https://youtu.be/f3y-PUd2hr8
  12. Where did you lose it and please don't reply if I knew that it wouldn't be lost :-) What town, bar do you think it was left at, have you contacted FC Astra or the orphanage that a donation was made to for assistance ?
  13. Golobart When he was good he was good and when he was bad he would scare the crap out of half the team.
  14. Did that flag of yours ever turn up?
  15. I hope he can use his head as well as his feet.
  16. A good 3 points, we won the battles in Midfield and defense to make it easier for the guys up front and the keeper, could have scored plenty more too in the 2nd half Polworth my motm
  17. Extra large vodka
  18. Only trouble is you can't pick and choose the clubs u want to play. Who do you play the following season
  19. I can recall playing against SPL clubs in testimonials and also the top flight teams we played against in Cup comps in the early days, at the time I felt they were all big clubs and it really was an achievement beating the likes of Killy, Motherwell, Hearts to name a few. Pity about Celtic not reaching the group stage maybe they would have more continental success on Eurovision.
  20. It must be a decent enough offer to get a shirt sponsor organised so early in the season. It's also promising that companies see our club as a good investment to enhance their business. As for an additional sponsor I don't see the problem and it won't be large, for the volume of shirts we probably sell in a typical season, its a welcome boost. An extra logo may equate to the profit of 500-1000 shirts
  21. Well instead of multiple sponsors logos we could always go for a pie chart.
  22. 5 pots, with groups of 8 to get picked per group through all the leagues, did Barry Hearn have anything to do with this. 8 Remaining Premiership. Top 8 of Championship Bottom 2Championship, top 6 of div1 Bottom 4 div1, top 4 of div2, Bottom 6 div2, h league, l league. With draw on BT sport. You can't pick and choose nearest teams from all leagues but could loosely split each group in two, especially the bottom 2 pools. This Cup has always seemed to be in the shadow of the Scottish cup. The best 16 in the country go into a knock out comp. This will be harder to win than the Scottish cup but will still give all clubs a bash at it. Should push up the Cup sponsorship value too. I think the powers that be have done well thinking this one up and showing the courage to bring it to life.
  23. I would say it offers more protection to the top championship teams instead of Hibs and Rangers playing against the likes of Celtic Aberdeen etc early on. The bigger clubs stay in for longer creating more interest. Not a bad change, from the norm.
  24. There's still a couple of 2015s left in the club shop. If CJT can manage to sell the coach number boards from the buses going to Hampden. I'm sure they can sell this years callendars.
  25. When are the calendars out as will probably buy a few things in one go.
