  1. Shocking defending. 3 of them, tracking back, all followed the ball out to the right leaving Cameron in an ocean of space when the ball was crossed towards him.
  2. Bit of a palaver to register etc, but all good now. Let's hope for a great result.
  3. I watched all Salmonds 5+ hours of testimony to the Select committee this afternoon. Fascinating stuff. I don't particularly like him as an individual, but I must say his performance today was controlled, well prepared, and would not have done him any harm! Can't wait to see the next episodes next week. Queen Nicola will have to be at her best to do better. At this stage I think it is odds against her surviving.
  4. Fantastic performance and all credit to the Hearts fan base who initiated this. I wonder when we'll see them for sale on EBay? I remember my wife and I managed to get tickets for the 2012 Olympics in London. We could only get Diving and Water Polo (on the same day I think). A great experience, especially as we could get the train from our local station straight into London, one change onto the tube directly to Stratford, and into the complex. Immediately afterwards I put our used tickets, (all 4 of them), on Ebay and was amazed to see them snapped up for at least double what we paid for them. So I immediately used the profits to buy tickets for the Paralympics (held at the same venue two or three weeks later) and we had another amazing day in the main athletics stadium watching the likes of Johnny Peacock win gold medals. Happy days
  5. Our best players were all defenders, Good to see that mostly, we didn't look so fragile at the back, particularly against set pieces. An encouraging performance against the probable runaway champions. Play offs still in our grasp.
  6. Well, if I'm honest a draw was fair. A great start for the first 25 mins but overall we didn't create many chances.
  7. We're going to be lucky if we finish with all 11 on the pitch I fear.
  8. H/T 1-1 F/T 2-1 ICT Sutherland Hearts Walker *Joker, please* (if I have one!)
  9. Very disappointing not to win that, especially having done all the hard work to gain the lead. If Keatings is the recognised penalty taker, why on earth did he not insist on taking it? Two moments of brilliance to be happy for, and lots of frustration. Final touch/cross was often really poor. To be fair, Alloa looked quite well organised at the back. How many corners did they defend well? At least a dozen I would guess. We'll have to be a lot more clinical to get anything from Hearts on Friday.
  10. What did I say? Absolutely ridiculous to give away a penalty like that.
  11. Yes, very poor attempt by Storey to cl;ose the game out. Hope it doesn't cost us.
  12. Yes, sounds like it. I'm hopeful that it will improve things. I think it will.
  13. Well, that was better. Just need a nice little run of wins now Well done lads
  14. Well, that consolidates 9th place for a while. Just shows that games in hand are meaningless if you can't win them. Probably didn't deserve to lose tonight but second half performance left a lot to be desired. Coupled with the awful commentary that was a tenner well spent, I don't thinl!
  15. Considering our lack of game time, I didn't think we were too bad in 1st half. Tried to keep the ball on the ground and created a couple of chances. Just need to start converting chances into goals.
  16. Yes, the commentary is turgid again. Should have had a lesson from the Arbroath boys, who were entertaining throughout.
