  1. Yes, crazy game. 5 goals in extra time alone. I think there were 20+ minutes of injury time because of a serious injury to Crawley's keeper. I only watched about a quarter of an hour of the injury time, from just after Warren came on, and all of the extra time. Have to say that Torquay threw this game away. Don't think Gary was directly responsible for any of the late Crawley goals, but collectively he must share the blame for not seeing this game out, having been 5-3 ahead after about 7mins of the first period of extra time.
  2. And today, Sun 8 Nov, old favourite Gary Warren should line up with his Torquay team mates as they take on Crawley in the F.A. Cup. Again, live on the BBC website, at 12.45.
  3. David Raven scored one of Marine FC's penalties in a penalty shoot-out, beating division 2 Colchester in today's F.A.Cup tie, after drawing 1-1 after extra time. In Scotland Rory McAllister scored for Cove and Jamie Wilson scored for Dumbarton
  4. Anyone not willing to pay the excessive PPV charges for our game at Hearts today could watch 2 live F.A. games entirely free, on the BBC sports website, featuring 2 of our ex players (if they are selected, of course). At 12 30 Tonbridge Angels, for whom Ben Greenhalgh plays, take on Bradford City, and at 15.00 Marine FC, for whom David Raven plays, are away to Colchester.
  5. My copy has just arrived. Can't wait to get stuck into it.
  6. Two of our favourite ex captains scored yesterday (31Oct) : Graeme Shinnie, for Derby and Gary Warren with his first goal for Torquay, who are riding high at the top of the National League. Also, Rory McAllister scored for Cove, also top of their league, SL2.
  7. Have I missed the information for non season ticket holders accessing the streaming service? I thought details were due this week, but I've not noticed anything.
  8. Unfortunately your cousin Aaron's appalling injury record over all the years he has been with us has meant that we just have had to consider him "dispensible". I would reckon that he has missed more than 50% of the games he could have played if fully fit. A great shame as when fit and on form he really could be indispesible.
  9. What a start! Couldn't have wished for better. Keep it up boys.
  10. I notice Jake Mulraney got his first goal for Atlanta Utd in the USA earlier today.
  11. H/T 2-0 F/T 3-0 ICT Storey Cowdenbeath Morrison
  12. And today also, Jason Oswell got another for Telford.
  13. Good news. Looking forward to receiving my copy.
  14. I notice Jason Oswell is now at AFC Telford, and scored his debut goal for them last night (6 Oct). Also scoring last night were Scott Boden, for Chesterfield, and Dean Ebbe with another couple for The New Saints.
  15. Well, we actually played a bit in the last 10 minutes and created a couple of half chances. So that was encouraging. Onwards and upwards, we'll be better when we get all our players fit.
  16. Very unlucky on us for that penalty to be awarded
  17. H/T 1-1 F/T 1-3 ICT Sutherland Hearts Berra
  18. I noticed Dean Ebbe got another for The New Saints today as well.
  19. I too have ordered, and donated, a few days ago. As others have said I really hope this book gets to print in a reasonable timescale. I can hardly wait to get stuck into it.
