whilst I agree with Davie perhaps a partial winter shut down would be better ie only 2 games played over the festive break 27th December and 2nd January. Most families are skint over December and January but with the return of exiles for the festive season this may boost the festive season crowds. If we got a league sponsor there may be enough money to negotiate with SKY so only 3pm games are shown and each club having a max number of TV games in a year

So much for the great County support we used to hear about Either they only sing when they are winning or it was a manipulation of figures Reckon they have an even smaller hardcore of fans than us Anyway we are there rain ,hail or shine

Either drop Billy or get doran and Watkins round the full backs with low cross balls into the box for Billy to create chaos in a poor Dons defence. If we drop Billy then we need Foran up front and doesn't look like he will play this side of new year so we are currently a one trick pony without another striker

Why is it when we are top of league playing a brand of football that many wanted when Butchers kick and rush was not acceptable that the only way we will keep everybody happy is to win every game playing better football than Barca scoring 4 goals a game and not conceding . Big G Believe it or not think we are in agreement The thread "pay to get in or watch in pub for free" was not my statement The point being the less ICTFC are on the TV for our home games the better it is for the club because we get smaller crowds at games which are on TV which drops the match day revenue and we get no extra TV money unless it is a cup game Best for the club is 3pm sat ko for all games and derby games not on TV which will ensure bigger crowds through the gate Do I believe that will happen - not a chance Do I think it would be fair to other teams in the league- no Would it be good for ICTFC - absolutely

And their share of all the TV deals for SPFL games. Without sounding like I am backing K.O changes, without a League sponsor the TV money is the highest income the league has. The clubs have gate money but this alone is not enough to keep clubs afloat. The club would get that share even if they had no TV games during the season but chances are you would get bigger home attendances . So if we are on Tv it would be best if we were playing away

Surely it is just contra entries in each clubs accounts with a balancing payment so at least we keep the money we have taken in for the tickets !we sell! Problem is if we sell more than them which is pretty unlikely

Pay to get in, or watch it for nothing in a pub? TV coverage is ruining the game in Scotland. Do the revenues the club get from the TV companies make up for the revenue lost elsewhere? clubs only get money for cup games !!

Regardless of how it may appear 2830 was the attendance and the point being made was the income stream to the club so only 2830 paid one way or another to watch and if that continues the club will be hampered financially to resign our players

With plenty seats available at Celtic end do not see the logic in this unless a season ticket holder gave them the seats if so shame on them. If they were there to try and cause an issue agree they should have been ejected . CCTV will hopefully identify them and club will have a record of whose seats they are or who bought the tickets !

Suspect we will not take less than 500k for either Shinnie or Mackay and as they have not resigned that means we lose them at the end of the season for nothing . Marsella has left Hibs so maybe he can get replacements why else was he at the game yesterday as no need to be looking at our players he knows them all and he doesn't need to check out our play as we will not be playing Hibs for at least a season .
