  1. I think they'll play; Esson Raven Meekings Warren G Shinnie Draper Vincent Doran Foran. Williams or Greenhalgh McKay Subs - Brill, Devine, Ross, Tremarco, Williams/Greenhalgh, Pepper, Watkins I want Brill in goal as Esson IMO isn't great anymore, but I no TB won't play him. Undecided on Williams and Greenhalgh but I reckon it'll be Williams. I think it's gonna be a really good team performance on Saturday so I'm counting on Draper and Vincent to control that midfield and TB to get the team playing some nice football!
  2. Great goal by Meekings, hopefully that will happen in the new season.
  3. Me too, I think Ben Greenhalgh will be a good signing but I'm looking forward to seeing all of them as I watched a lot of pre season games and they all look good. The new striker we just signed is a Norweigen U21 international with strength, he is also 6 foot 1 so he should be really good support to Billy McKay upfront, maybe provide a few goals aswell. I like the look of Vincent and Williams,Vincent can hold the ball up really well in the middle of midfield and Williams can run at defenders with pace. This season will be a huge success (again) IMO and I really like the look of this team. Pace, strength, good aerial ability, stamina, goalscorers, good set piece takers and hopefully lots of goals! BRING. IT. ON.
  4. Really good article there and it seems the people from "down south" are noticing us (much more)! Buzzzzzzzing!
  5. So now pre season is over and we have done quite well, any thoughts on expectations now? Mine is that.... We are gunna have another great season, yes the other teams will prepare even better for us just because we had an amazing season last, but I think this year, we are gunna do equally as good maybe even better! It really feels good thinking bout this season for some odd reason. Bring. It. On.
  6. This is brilliant news! This guy looks like hell be a tank up front! Really looking forward to seeing some bullet headers (as I assume a six foot one player will be able to do that) and goals! Him and McKay upfront will be brill (I think!). Look set for 13/14!
  7. Superb! Rounds off a great pre season and we were unbeaten! So glad to have bet Charlton, a championship team, away from home too! Lets let the lads enjoy tonight and we look forward to St Midden next week!:D
  8. There flying down today I think but nae sure of the hotel!
  9. If that was ANY other player TB would of dropped them.
  10. Nursing a groin injury from what I've heard Oh i see, wondered why he was out!
  11. Why has Conor Pepper not been playing the other games but he's on the bench for a game with the youth team in it (or the players who didn't play last night)
  12. Much better than Saturdays game! Polworth really looks good when he's on the ball and scored another excellent goal tonight. And for Billy McKays performance, No wonder I called my account HeScoresWhenHeWants! Great game tonight and really enjoyed my trip down to the seaside!
  13. Yeah I'm going, hopefully better than yesterday's performance!
  14. I enjoyed travelling to Raith and it was my first time at Starks too but the play in the first half especially was very poor IMO. Liam Polworth came on about 60-65 minutes and did extremely well in that time. He also scored the late equaliser which was a great hit from the edge of the box. We started badly when Richie and G Shinnie had a misunderstanding that led to them punishing us and then we just turned off again later on in the first half to let them score a second. We should have actually made it 1-1 when Nick Ross was through on goal 1 on 1 with McKay beside him but he ended up making a mess of the pass. We got one back on half time when Doran I think hit the post but luckily a defender for Raith just knocked it in and Liam Polworths goal was a really good finish but overall I think we were lucky to come away with the draw and I didn't think the performance was great. i've noticed that first division clubs normally like to come quick at the defenders when the defending team have the ball and also put you under a lot of pressure, but when you see SPL teams they don't really put as much pressure on them when it's say a goal kick taken short or when a goalkeeper has possession in his box. Dean Brill was put under a lot of pressure by the attackers yesterday but I think that's just a sign that that's not gunna be what this seasons all about. Good day out though:)
  15. I was just thinking to myself, does pre season actually help us or just make us worse? Of course there is many ways to look at this such as we've had different players over the years that haven't worked out or have worked out. We've gone down south sometimes (England, south of Scotland) and sometimes just stayed local to play highland league teams. What I mean by this is when the domestic campaign starts, we are either poor or take last season as an example, we are good! We normally start well and end up going downhill or it's the other way round, so I thought maybe the pre season fixtures have something to do with it (where we go and who we play). In 11/12 we went to England and did actually quite well down there, but of course we had a pretty poor season in the end finishing 10th. In 12/13 we just stayed up here and it didn't seem to do much harm with our league form did it! This season we've played a few highland league teams and now we are playing three teams out of the highlands/down south, Raith, Arbroath and Charlton in London. So it's basically a mix of our last two seasons, half and half with Highland League teams and teams "down south". Of course it all depends on the other teams form, how good we/they play, referee decisions, player decisions, feelings and maybe who the other teams play in pre season and what there last game and result was in the league, also there league placing. This could be a pointless topic but I just wanted to hear other ICT fans opinions on this matter.
  16. Will they put out a strong team or just a fringe team? I imagine it'll be the strongest team just getting more and more game time uptil the big game in two weeks (not exactly that big but ya no what I mean)!
  17. I thought Watkins was Shinnies back up? Anyway, at least we're picking up more players! Our squad is big for our budget were on so it's quite good, plus Tremarco is a quality player IMO.
  18. If you read this it doesn't include us when they announce who goes straight into the third round http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23291540
  19. Good game, not as good as Keith but Forres are a good side and at least we scored more goals than County did against them, and not punch anyone! Like the look of Ben Greenhalgh, he had some good pace and skill whenever I saw him on the ball and he drives at defenders with force!
  20. As my hometome team, it is defo £8 adults and £4 concessions
  21. Well finally we've signed one, but on loan. Dean Brill from Luton till January 5.
  22. Does anyone know what numbers everyone is getting yet for the new season?
