  1. I am desperate for Richie Foran to do well but im afraid some of his decisions and the loyalty he is showing to certain players is mind blowing. Owaim Fon Williams is costing us too many goals and is not the commanding figure he should be. Iain Vigurs offers nothing and does not deserve to start every week. His lack of quality and commitment is horrendous. Larnell Cole is ok going forward but defensively is not interested, he gives Brad no protection or help at all. We have to change things and go 442. Billy King, who was outstanding when he came on today, Ryan Esson if fit and Scott Boden should come in in my view. Also when Richie made the double change and took on Fisher and King why did he put Draper up front with Fisher. Why not leave Doumbaye or put Boden, two strikers, on instead. It made no sense at all. Richie is there to make big and brave decisions and at the moment he is not doing it. The sooner he does the better or we will be cut adrift at the bottom very soon.
  2. Lets ditch this 4231 formation or whatever we are trying to play and go for the old fashioned 442. Lets face it we have plenty of wingers to pick from so why not use them. Play Draper and Tansey/Polworth centrally, Polworth is sure as hell not a winger. Then go with two proper wingers. My prefrence would be King and Doran. Get them running at the full backs and get crosses into the box. Put two stikers up top and start to create chances and score some goals.
  3. Why let Cammy Mackay go on loan to Elgin when Ryan Esson is not fit. It makes no sense at all.
  4. I agree. I think Tansey should of been dropped long ago. Its just a pity Liam Polworth has got injured just when Tansey is going to miss the Aberdeen game due to suspension. Polworth would of been the ideal player to come in in Tanseys position and allow King or Doran to start out wide. A central pairing of Draper and Polworth would be a decent fit in my mind.
  5. For me Vigurs and Tansey are far to similar players to play in the same team. They both want to do the same thing. At times Tansey drops so deep to get on the ball it looks as if we play with three centre halfs. Warren or Meekings could be playing the passes into midfield and let Tansey get on the ball higher up the park and try to create something. I would much rather see Polworth in the centre of the park with Tansey and play Doran, a natural wide player, on the wing.
  6. Meekings Mckay Tremarco
  7. A great result. OFW was immense and rightly got man of the match but I also thought Carl Tremarco was outstanding. The desire and commitment he showed today was unreal. I wasnt sure if he was up to the job of been our regular left back when Shinnie left but he has proved me wrong. Such an improved player and his will to win and make tackles and blocks is such an asset to the team. Along with the Warren, Meekings, Mckay and OFW its great to have a solid looking back five again.

  10. A 2 year deal. Foran must rate him highly if he has signed for 2 years. Quite an exciting signing for the club in my view. Lets hope he can do the business and give us a presence up front and more importantly score a few goals.
  11. Who is arguing with each other?
  12. Thats all i know unfortunately. It was on the radio that Ritchie hopes to have a new player in by Thursday.
  13. New signing in by Thursday apparently.

    David Raven

John Hughes was extremely lucky to get the job as our manager in the first place. No other team in our position would of gone near him. In my view he is now degrading the club and our ambitions by his negative comments. This was our season to progress and establish ourselves as a Premier League club but this has not happenend. Hughes continually talks us down and his negativity must surely detract players from wanting to join us. When you have a solid, consistent and very good player like David Raven desperate to sign a new contract and you decide not to, in my view it is a disgrace. We are Inverness Caledonian Thistle, we know we are not world beaters and are not going to win cups every season but we want to see players with heart and passion who want to wear our shirt and sweat blood and tears for us and David Raven is this kind of player. I for one feel Hughes is forgetting about the essence of our club and taking us down a road many of us will not want to follow.

    David Raven

Unbeleivable decision by John Hughes. The best right back at the club by a mile and one of the best right backs in the country im my view. How he is not getting offered a new deal is ridiculous. Who are we going to get that is better than Raven? After his previous signings I dont have much faith in Hughes bringing in anyone near the level of Raven. If i had a choice of keeping Raven or Hughes at the club we would be looking for a new manager.
  20. Brill Raven Meekings Warren Tremarco Draper Tansey Roberts Vigurs Doran Storey Fon Willians, Polworth, Mutombo, Devine, Horner, Foran, Fisher
  21. If David Raven is not offered a new deal it is a disgrace. One of our best performers for a few years now and a player that wants to stay. We have no one at the club who is better than him in his position and going by John Hughes recruitment so far, i cant see him signing someone anywhere near as solid and consistent. The lack of players signed up for next season is a major worry.
  22. One of the worst games of football i have seen. Motherwell were poor but for us being a home team needing a win to get in the top six we were terrible. The way we play is horrendous to watch, sideways and backwards passing all the time, there is no pace or quality to the way we attack. The amount of times we play passes back to Fon Williams is incredible. Miles Storey is our only recognised striker yet we play him on the wing, then when he goes up front we take him off. The changes made today were laughable, when we eventually made any. Hughes seems to take so long to try and change things. We are trying to win the game so we take Meekings off and replace him with Horner. Why not Jordon Roberts, if we are wanting to win the game then surely he must be a better option. Its going to be a long and nervous last seven games, lets hope we can get enough points to stay above 11th place. At the moment im not sure we can.
  23. Awful team selection. Its no coincidince we were much improved after we made the substitutions. Why Hughes started up front and Storey was on the bench is ridiculous. What did Hughes do against Hamilton that merits another start tonight. Horner offered nothing in midfield as did Wedderburn. How did these guys start when Roberts, Williams and Polworth were sitting on the bench. If John Hughes doesnt come out tonight or tomorrow and admit he picked the wrong team i will be amazed.
  24. Terrible performance. The football is so dull, we pass the ball sideways and backwards and hardly create any chances. When Hamilton scored you got the feeling we would never win the game because there was not a chance we would score two goals let alone one. You would expect a reaction and some urgency after the goal but it just didnt happen. Also why is Ryan Williams not getting involved more. I thought he was a creative midielder so why not take him on today when we were in desperate need of creativity. Why sign him just to sit on the bench. Liam Hughes didnt offer much so why not put Storey up top and Williams in midfield. On a positive note it was good to see Ritchie Foran back, lets hope he can stay injury free, he could be a big player for us in our remaining games.
