Does anyone know if BDO intend to run the bidding process as an auction? Ie someone could make a counter bid to AS and then he could reply with a higher offer? Surely this will be the case. If not, I’d worry that someone else outbids AS and that’s that. -
Obviously finishing well clear of the relegation zone would be the preference, but a bit of extra revenue from the lower playoffs might help the coffers…not sure we operate at a profit though so that might not be true. The sadist in me wants to play Elgin in the playoff final, then beat them at home to stay up. Imagine the craic in that

What about the land at Harbour Rd/Burnett Rd? Parking issues are obvious (more land to the south of Burnett Rd) but perhaps enough space for a scaled down stadium there. Handy for the police station for when the old firm come and visit and the fire service can put the flares out. AS buys up the Inverness Golf Centre to make a new social club right next door. -
BDO Statement - club at “Significant Risk”

The letter from the JA’s goes to show how much Alan Savage has done, and possibly will do, to help keep us afloat. What a shame (for all concerned) if we have to liquidate after all this. A gutting update. -
A great spot ymip. It goes to show how well County’s scouting network is functioning!

North of Scotland beat Glasgow 5-4 in the Scottish Schools Cup to progress to the semi final. Hope these young lads are at least on the fringes of ICT’s radar!

Just listened to Kel’s interview, wow. I came away feeling brilliant having listened to it. I was a doubter, now I’m absolutely not. Please let this resurgence continue under Kel, things feel like we are ‘Inverness’ again!

I’d like to know, on balance, how much money the streaming service generated or could generate post-Covid. The moratorium extending down the leagues means clubs can’t make cash from this, whilst not receiving much benefit from the TV deal that has the hold. -

Imagine a relegation playoff final against Elgin, and surviving. That would be great fun against that bunch of mugs -
Brilliant to see the two young western isles lads on the score sheet! Also the ICT social media team were brilliantly on point in posting “siri, play Western Isles by Peat and Diesel”…need to have that tune at the Caledonian Stadium to encourage them!

This. Morrison has an interest in avoiding administration for sure. -

Got to entertain the investor, the points deduction from administration will see us relegated so at the very least we will be a league higher next season if we make it to the end of this one with the investor. Maybe Savage wants administration to take full control afterwards, but he hasn’t said that explicitly if I’m right. -
Dunc working for free will ensure he survives administration I suspect. Whatever happens it’s a gamble for Dunc, if he is sacked then his career in management is surely over given his previous management efforts. If we keep him on with £0 salary/minimum salary and fail thereafter, his career is over. The only way to save his career is to succeed and win, a tough task indeed given the circumstances. We’ve not seen any prospect of loan players coming from Everton, given his previous there you’d think there should be solid potential in that link. If I was Dunc I’d be begging Everton to release 4 or more quality players on loan to help us survive administration until the end of the season. If we were to survive a -15 point deduction from administration then there’s something to be said for that, it would be a big feat given our current position.

I liked the chat about raiding the Highland League for the best players, there’s surely a good few that could step up to League 2 or maybe a handful to League 1. Feels sustainable in terms of finances and club identity. What about putting an ICT scout in touch with fans connected to the Highland or North Caledonia league? Surely no harm to come of that.

The thing that irks me most about the meeting was the response to the question over the fans donations to the crowdfunding campaign. It was stated that the funds will be used for running costs, but administration is all but inevitable. Therefore the funds will be lost and won’t be able to contribute to a positive cause (save ICT??), why ask fans to contribute when even Alan Savage is saving his money for the administration process? Basically I dont think it’s a ‘Save ICT’ fund at all. The crowd fund should be ring fenced and used when we reincarnate. -
A tremendous gesture no matter what anyone says. You can see a sadness in his eyes in his pre match interview, hopefully that inspires a “dogs of war” attitude as IHE would say. Against All Odds? Aye, that saying hasn’t ever been more relevant.

It’s really frustrating living away from Inverness for the first time in 14 years, but it’s equally frustrating hearing the comments about Duncs style of play. We should be romping this league, instead we are close to the relegation spots. The really worrying thing is the goals ratio which is exactly the same last year as this.

How well was the sports bar attended today? Any reports on formation today? Sounds like more square passing again.

Behind all AS’s comments is an endorsement of DF as manager. Clearly we will be married to Duncan for better or worse (at least for the short/medium term) and therefore we must get on with supporting the club, like it or lump it. There’s no doubt a lot of muddy water under the bridge with DF but lumping it now given all the good work AS has done only serves to undermine the first glints of good feeling at ICT for a long, long time. I’ll personally be patient and supportive during this renaissance and hopefully DF takes some guidance from Charlie and others, along with modest investment, to turn our fortunes and playing style around. I’m picturing a Scottish Cup run of old, as proper old school underdogs. The playoff route to the Championship would seal another epic chapter in our beloved club. To quote IHE…time to ‘believe’?? Aye.

AS on the board is a must, especially because there is a plan to sell the club eventually and that is also an important transition.

3no private unbranded planes on the tarmac at Inverness Airport on Tuesday morning (this is a real photo). They must be here for the Harry Gow dream rings I’m thinking!!
