  1. hats off to wilson, thats the attitude we need
  2. I wonder if us fans cheering the players off the park after a 3-0 drubbing last week boosted the players confidence and helped us win comprehensively today? I cant tell you how much I BELIEVE right now, loving it and I hope it lasts till the end of the season! :024:
  3. I wouldnt let greg near my drink or it would be gone
  4. it was loyal army (greg) who started the jimmy says aye.
  5. best loss iv ever experienced, I hope the players take as much heart from the game as we did. Head up boys, were right behind you
  6. Right so having watched Kilmarnock on bbc alba were all clued up on how to take down our SPL opponents! :P 1) Camey bell usually doesnt take crosses well, so putting balls on top of him should cause problems. 2) They are vulnerable down the left and Invincible recently hasnt been tracking back when teams are on the counter. Perhaps consider playing a little wider and focusing on the counter attack. 3) Camey bells distribution is top notch, helping killie get up the park quicker. 4) Mark kyle out of the game. 5) Killie cant cross to save themselves (although dead ball is dangerous). Limiting them to the wide areas should help. They played 4-1-4-1 then changed to 4-4-2 half way through...they would ideally play 4-3-3 but dont have enough strikers available. My flatmates a Killie fan and i was storing everything he was telling me B) Anything else to add people? (edited to include formations)
  7. me + 3. Cant beat a cup game, at any stage!
  8. were two wins away from hampden. Im feeling the cup buzz and im going to have a wee word with myself...I LOVE THIS SH!T! :D
  9. Kyle Lafferty on loan?
  10. I want Falkirk, i hate those b@rstewards! We owe them a beating! on the other hand killie have just lost jeffries, it might be a good time to face any of these teams. If we do get through, itl be a hell of a rollercoaster ride compared to counties run...
  11. I was driving round the Invergordon road to Inverness when there was a car and caravan with around half a foot of snow on both attachments. The combo was travelling at that speed where its just fast enough for most drivers but there is always one who thinks its too slow...a boy racer flew by ignoring the piles of snow falling off the roof of the caravan and during his manoeuvre skidded onto the other side of the road. No harm done in this case due no a lack of on coming traffic but falling snow is definitely a danger when combined with stupid driving, wipers or not.
  12. I watched Brisbane Roar against celtic over in oz and thought moore and malcolm were distinctly poor. A dominant 3-0 win for a Celtic B side making the West Coasters look a shambles, nealry from the word go. No thanks
  13. wow this is the first time i have looked at this thread since posting. (apologies about the link, but it doesn?t look like it would be used by many anyway so im not fixing it). Absent Friend, I liked your post. I have several reasons why I am a Gaelic learner - my late grandfather was the last speaker in my family and I would like to carry it on. My Gaelic teacher up north turned up pyshd one afternoon at my primary school and never came back. Come to think of it, my piano teacher was drunk dancing in the hills the last time i heard, but that?s what you expect when you get north of Lairg. I was at the Barrowlands in Glasgow for Runrig last week and Vatersay boys last Friday, both bands have a strong association with Gaelic and I would like to know what the words in the songs mean. Also the lessons down here proved to be a fun social event, with many nights out etc associated with it. Gaelic roadsigns and budgets apart: - For people that have no time for Gaelic in the sense of preserving culture, promoting a sense of identity and purely ridicule people who do take pride in it...i pity you. For people about my age (21) who down the traditional Scottish music scene I take consolation in the fact that Il head to random venues all over Scotland, muck up the strip the willow from drinking too much whisky and sing in partially nonsense Gaelic...and you wont be there! Bring on Barra 2010. As for the signs debate, I worked with the Highland Council in the past. I do not believe the money being spent on Gaelic road signs is justified, purely because I think there are more worthy causes.
  14. yup, me +3.
  15. 201 days until i graduate as a master of civil engineering. Goodbye studying, hello season ticket :(
  16. I noticed john robertson isnt covering his "beloved caley thistle" :P
  17. kencar, I sympathise with what your saying there and i have to admit he was terrible at the county game as well as others! Yesterday he was solid, and showed up the other three at the back. His distribution was ten times better than grants and seemed to be the only one marking from set pieces. based on that performance i need to change my vote, but on the whole the jury is still out. Back to square one with this post then :P
  18. am i the only one whos got a wee buzz about this season?im thinking there is a chance, a wee chance, we might sneak the league.I BELIEVE! (still got the wristband from 2005, might start wearing it again!)
  19. Great feedback CaleyD, glad folk are at least considering it and not writing it off. I didnt want to offend anyone who is loyal to thier seat might i add. Some great replies about getting in touch with the club but its always going to be a complex issue - it would take someone in significant power with thier head fully screwed on to organise something like this! Cant actually wait for the partick game, five mins up the road after a couple of bevvys. MON THE JAGS!
  20. peace and quiet next year then....
  21. On your typical away day, you can pick and choose where you sit and if you fancy a sing song...you head up the back with the diehards. I truely love away days, i live for them in fact. On a matchday at TCS (take the north stand for example), the singers are often separated (apart from an elite select) and dont make any impact whatsoever singing alone (usually, thats me). This is largely due to the amount of taken seats around that area which are occupied by season ticket holders. I propose, as radical as it sounds, to have the season ticket holder seats in the north stand de-named. I.e. you can buy a season ticket for the north stand, but you cant specify where! Keep the family section named and as-is...sometimes its better to have an area away from possible swearing etc. People will moan that they buy the seat for the view of the pitch, I argue either 1) buy a season ticket in the main stand or 2) buy a season ticket for the north stand and get there in plenty of time. This way folk that are really keen can get a bit closer to the singing pack and actually make a difference. I have a group of at least 5 mates who all sit separately, im sure other people are the same. The atmosphere would build earlier in the ground as people who sing would want to be guaranteed a good spot. Singing secitons dont work, lets try something thats never been done before. Please dont tear me to pieces, its a bit of positive lateral thinking. Discuss!
  22. am there, hoping we have some football to cheer like the first half last saturday! Keen on the pub pre match. B)
  23. John Robertson, if your reading this..... What would YOU have done?
