  1. Sounds like Harper could be a doubt for tomorrow: https://ictfc.com/match-preview-morton-h
  2. PPV details for tomorrow night’s game, remember it is a 1900 kick off. https://ictfc.com/ppv-info-morton-h Come on guys, three points please!
  3. Can I politely request you continue this in private, please.
  4. Watching today’s covid briefing, Rangers were asked twice prior to the weekend to issue messaging discouraging events like what happened, but they failed to do so. That is shocking. After the Celtic Dubai debacle, both clubs seem incredibly divorced from reality, or they think they are somehow immune from the issues facing the rest of the world. Football’s “red card” may be a step closer due to both clubs’ actions and the idiots who risked public safety yesterday.
  5. Really bad to see the crowds gathering in Glasgow today after Rangers won the league. Do people not understand that life is more important than a title win? I hear there has been some partying in Inverness and fireworks tonight. Shocking disregard of the safety of others.
  6. I’ve wondered about 3 5 2 also recently given our lack of natural width amongst the fit members of the squad, at least until we have Doran or McDonald available. I agree the most likely 3 are Mckay, Devine and Deas. The middle 5 would presumably have Duffy and Harper playing wide. We then pick three from Welsh, Carson, Allardice, Vincent, Mackay and MacGregor. Up front it would be 2 from Toddy, Sutherland, Storey and Keatings. I suspect we will stick with what has recently looked like a 4 4 2 though.
  7. Without doubt, but he only had one really stand out game (at Dumfries) so I don’t think that is the whole story. That said, looking at the time we had and have not had Kennedy, if (and its a big iff!) we win on Tuesday, the points totals will be similar. I feel we have struggled since New Year and all the postponements, which is also when the off field issues started so I’m sure they are playing a part too. Before New Year: 12 points from 9 games. After New Year: 8 points from 8 games (will be 11 from 9 if we win on Tuesday).
  8. 10 points from our first 6 games. 10 points from our last 11 games. We’ve got poorer. Bearing in mind our injury position was worst at the start of the season, it is hard to pinpoint what has caused it. Earlier in the run, we were dropping points from winning positions and in games we should have won. Now we just seem to be dropping points, and confidence seems low as a result. Tuesday is a classic 6 pointer: win and it could kick start us, lose and we may not recover.
  9. With the rumours about County’s targets, we may get bids for one or two of the nine you have advised are under contract for next season. From your list, we would be letting Mckay, McHattie, Toshney, Storey, Sutherland, Doran, McDonald and young goalie MacKinnon go, along with Keatings who is already going.
  10. As others have said, let’s focus on surviving and look forward to the season ending. If we can go on a run, great, but it looks unlikely as things stand. The players have had a lot to deal with off the pitch, so let’s cut them a bit of slack.
  11. I see Scott Boden is at Torquay. Not sure how long he has been there so may not be recent news.
  12. I don’t disagree but there were occasions quick distribution would have been effective or we just needed to clear our lines, but we dithered at the back, struggled to get up the park and lost the ball anyway. Both Dundee and Alloa have pressed us hard early on and other teams will see we struggle when our under pressure. We either need to find a way of keeping the ball when playing it out, or mix things up more.
  13. Must have been something off the ball. Looked like the linesman saw something as he had to tell the red where the feee kick should be taken.
  14. Full time. Probanly a fair result. Alloa had the best of the first half, we looked more likely after the break. A few good saves by Ridgers but credit Devine for keeping Cameron quiet after he came on. I’m not sure about McCann’s tactics. A few times it looked like Ridgers’ instinct was to go long but he held back and played it short. If we are going to continue with that approach, we need to keep the ball better and give players options for passes. We need to win on Tuesday against Morton now after today’s results.
  15. Why was the Alloa player sent off? He didn’t argue so something must have happened off the ball or he said something?
  16. Penalty claim turned down. Sutherland played MacGregor in and he went down. Would have been soft. Looking more promising in the second half.
  17. Another decent save by Ridgers from the free kick. His kicking today is still making me nervous though. Ayr leading Morton now. Mackay on for Storey.
  18. How did Sutherland not tuck that in? Just needed to lift it over the ‘keeper’s leg but put it wide.
  19. Deas. Didn’t see anything and only 2 minutes into second half so maybe Harper was given time to try to run a knock off. Just before the change, Storey was giving him more cover so may well be a knock.
