Highland Derbies Next Season
Probably Dundee Utd, if they don't go up & Dundee don't go down...think that's the closest? Possibly Raith Rovers if they get promoted - I know that (assuming Dunfermline are still in the Championship next season) there would be 2 Fife clubs, but would assume Dunfermline v Falkirk would be ther derby game for The Pars? A lot of ifs & buts there!! Haven't even thought about Partick or Hamilton...bad memories of New Douglas Park (apart from the trampoline pitch) - been twice, Dean Brill got strechered off the 1st time & 2nd time was the 3-0 game last Jan...??

Robbo must stay!
Robbo probably sticks to Twitter, just to see who the latest signings are, courtesy of NorhStandRising...

Robbo must stay!
Wasn't he actually ON the forum at one time, years ago?

New Signing
I hope so - will he good to see Brad Mckay playing as a centre half too...he is a good solid centre half, but certainly not a right back!

New Signing
I couldn't agree more - I wouldn't be renewing my season ticket either! Would bring the club much unwelcome media attention as well. Kinda puts the signing of Sandy Robertson , many years ago, in the shade... We need to tell the club loud & clear NOT to go near Goodwillie with a barge pole! However (hopefully) this is just a silly rumour....

New Signing
This is where we're at - improving players who haven't set the heather on fire at their previous team. Think the key word is 'potential'....Robbo must see potential there. On the sort of budget we're operating on, we're never going to attract big name 'established' players.. As another poster made the point - Falkirk binned Nathan Austin, which looks like a clanger, on their part!

New Signing
100% agree....I can't see it hapoening anyway, to be honest.

I'd rather stick a pen in my eye....- Robbo must stay!
Some managers, as well as players just 'suit' some clubs & it's clear that Robbo fits at ICT like a glove! I said on the 'Robbo Out' thread months ago that we needed to give him time - turn of the year would be the earliest we could possibly even begin to judge him. Think he has answered all his critics! There is a positive vibe about the club just now & actually looking forward to next season! He has certainly answered the people who critisised his ability to build a team...the "it was Pele's team last time" argument...the current team is, mainly, Robbo's team!- Highland Derbies Next Season
Think I prefer 'El Kessocko' myself....- Robertson Out
The title of this thread is soooo wrong now.- Morton -V- Inverness CT
Well, another season in the Championship then...to be honest, if someone had told me we'd still have a chance of making the playoffs a few months ago, I would have assumed it was the relegation playoffs! This is what we probably all expected - us to do the job but lose out to Dunfermline...bit like last season but in reverse.. I'm not too downhearted though...if we can carry on this form & keep most of the team together, we should have a realistic chance of promotion next season...hopefully as champions! Look at St Mirren & think where they were a year or so ago.. All credit to the team for the excellent run we've been on lately, the damage was done long ago at the start of the season...I'd like to think we will start stronger next time around- The Ian Vigurs enigma
Think the main reason he didn't make it at Motherwell was due to a serious back problem which (I think) eventually needed surgery - think he was training to regain fitness when Yogi signed him. Apparently the back problem caused him to lose the feeling in his left leg/foot (I vaguely remembered reading an interview with him when he signed this time around), which would definitely be an issue for a left footed player......- New Signing
Robbo obviously using his knowledge & contacts to secure Angus Beith...wouldn't be suprised to see more young ex Jambos....- Inverness CT -V- Dunfermline
- New Signing
Sounds like a great signing - also makes me think that the club are expecting to lose Vigurs....- Inverness CT -V- Dunfermline
- Dennis Wyness
Apparently his nickname in the team was 'Dennis Shyness'?....I liked that about him, no ego/big headedness, just a fantastic footballer- Dumbarton -V- Inverness CT

It's a well-earned retirement - a true ICT legend! I'll never forget that goal that knocked Celtic out of the cup in 2003! Also remember the reception Denzil got when he returned from Hearts!- Dumbarton v ICT - Game On Wed
That's my worry - might actually not be a bad thing if it was off tomorrow too....although who knows when this game would be played then!- Dumbarton v ICT - Game On Wed
We WILL be having summer football at this rate....- Inverness CT -V- Dumbarton
- Robbo must stay!
