  1. Its difficult to judge just now as we've not played many games, but, on the basis of what I've seen (Cov 0 at home and Midden away) I feel we may do quite well. Both games had good passing football but the end product needs fine tuning. I think we will do quite well this term and will be hanging around the mid-table for most of the season. Not so sure about a top six though as other teams have a bigger squad than us and injuries / suspensions will play a major part. We've had four bookings already after game one so the writing could be on the wall if discipline isn't brought under control. Over to you TB.
  2. Aaah sheeet...was going to go to that one. :tears:
  3. Fantastic idea and I hope it gets the success it deserves. Its now up to all of us to buy it and contribute stories etc.
  4. Was there in Jan 2002 with Jnr when we won 2-0 in the SFA Cup. We went on to beat the real maroons 3-1 at Tynecastle before bowing out to Partick Thistle in the QF®. A great 'real football' ground and an excellent pub close by (if its still there!!). Can't see me making this one though, sadly.
  5. From the Highway Code:- 244 You MUST NOT park partially or wholly on the pavement in London, and should not do so elsewhere unless signs permit it. Parking on the pavement can obstruct and seriously inconvenience pedestrians, people in wheelchairs or with visual impairments and people with prams or pushchairs. [Law GL(GP)A sect 15]

Brilliant news and addition to the site. I have copies on VHS of almost all of the games of our first Div 1 title season. They were recorded for Jnr by Uncle Albert. Not sure of any 'copy right' mind. It also ncludes some of that seasons cup games.

I enjoyed the game but was disappointed to have not won this. As others have said, I'd have taken a draw at 3pm. It was good to see us completing a lot of our passes and the absence of the big hoof was another plus. The new boys seemed to have settled better than last season's lads so it looks good on that side of things...if they can stay injury free. I have to agree that Ryan didn't look too clever at times but he did pull off a stunning save. From where I was watching it looked like he was culpable for the late equaliser by not grabbed the ball from the corner but I'll wait to see the highlights on TV. We still lack that cutting edge in front of goal though. There were occasions where it seemed we had a shooting opportunity but we never pulled the trigger. A promising start and we need to build on this.
  8. In the menu of the PL click on 'My profile' and then put a tick in the box where the 2012/13 league is and click 'join league'.
  9. Baring in mind all the shennigans thats gone on during the close season, now is the time, more than any other, to get behind the lads and Terry and Mo.
  10. I don't know much about the author of this article but, reading between the lines, he comes across to me as being a person who doesn't know his environment. TB has already said why he's had to come to England to seek players...its all about the money. Maybe this is another article that TB should pin on the dressing room wall.
  11. This PL has been running for a number of seasons and doesn't seem to attract many punters. All you have to do is predict the final score in all SPL matches. Click the Features drop down menu at the top of the page and then click on SPL Prediction League or try this link predictions.caleythistleonline.com You will need to log in separately on the page. Its free enter and you get bragging rights if you win.
  12. 2 x Gringo's. :bouncyblue:
  13. I'll side with IHE on this one and call it a PR stunt. Interesting take also on taking money out of the local economy by 'forcing' away fans to go straight home. Personally, I wouldn't like to see my team do this kind of thing and would much prefer them to spend cash on our supporters.
  14. 1-5 at HT too. Good game, good game!
  15. I thought it was a good game as pre-season friendlies go. I was please to see ICT playing good passing football. The big hoof wasn't there and this made for a better game. I'd agree that we rode our luck in the early stages and were let off with the pen'. Our first strike at goal was our pen'. Having scored that we seemed to take charge but I'd say Coventry had the better of the first half. Scored an early second seemed to kill off Coventry but their tails went up for a short while when they pulled one back. An enjoyable game but a shame about the Coventry One!!
  16. Aye, chatted to Chris myself. What a nice lad he is. He won't make the start and, as CC says above, he's almost there and looking forward to putting on the ICT shirt again.
  17. What an excellent web site. Well done to our boys anyway.
  18. I think its a lovely name :love02: but it will always be Victoria Park to me. Hope they don't get themseleves into a 'Livingston' situation wereby they change the name every five minutes.
  19. Only three goals in the second half??? shocking. Butcher out. Thanks for updates....you're a star.
  20. We'll have three Cov fans in the car but I propose we chuck them out at the border...
  21. Wear it underneath yer pants and fart a lot
  22. The SPL will soon knock that idea out of them...

Only 6-0!!! It was 10-2 last time we had a friendly there. Butcher out
  24. Hi Beduth We have a thread on this already. Check out The shop (porta cabin) should be open before and after the game. There were a limited number of supporters badges a few years ago but I'm not sure if they are available anymore. Check out the shop on the day. Gringo
