  1. We're waiting to see if we can sell another 250 season tickets so we can pay his wage :tongueincheek:
  2. Quite bloody right too!! Cannae agree with this nationalistic nonsense,In the Olympics they are representing Britain and like it or not thats the GB national anthem. If they feel that strongly nationalistic surely they should say "no thanks" I'm not representing GB. Different story if it were in the Commonwealth games or any event they were representing Wales/Scotland/Ireland when i would agree with there stance. As for Wee Eck's Scolympians!! That'll be why they dropped this verse then. Lord, grant that Marshal Wade, May by thy mighty aid, Victory bring. May he sedition hush, and like a torrent rush, Rebellious Scots to crush, God save the King.
  3. http://ictfc.com/new...-double-signing Considering Dublin is some 220 miles fron Aarons birthplace of Charleville in County Cork I'd hardly think he'd like to be referred to as a fellow Dubliner. Forgot to add....good to see Polworth being included. Think he also has a lot of potential.
  4. At this minute old Rangers still hold the share and are refusing to hand it over till SFA licence sorted so Dundee have to wait a bit longer.

  6. I think Killies idea is to ring past ST holders, on their database, who've not renewed. No reason why we couldn't do the same. Mailshots are not always read by people. I know that all the junk that comes through my letterbox goes straight in the bin without more than a fleeting glance simply because I'm one of the many who's philosophy is "if I need something I'll go and look for it. If I dont need something then I dont want it rammed down my throat".
  7. Charles thats me fekkin bad knee you've dropped the clapper board on.
  8. I believe B&Q have that on the roof of all their stores. Also how often to planes actually fly over the stadium? Not knocking the idea but research needed. As the winds in the east of Scotland are generally from the west and south then I'd have thought the more common approach to the runway would be from the north east.
  9. Bit harsh on Nick Ross
  10. horsepower
  11. Think I heard there's a closed doors game against Rangers on Saturday Brora Rangers
  12. I take it it was Sky. They showed highlights of the goals on Skysports News last night.
  13. extinguish
  14. Not true. Robert Millar was the great British hope of the early eighties and got a lot of publicity. He was king of the mountains in 84 and the first ever Brit to win a jersey.
  15. Yes!!! 87-89 at Rangers. Think they may have even been involved in a slight altercation on the pitch in one game if memory serves.
  16. Have noticed that whoever populated the Centenary club info has forgotten to put in the cost. It costs £1.50 per week per number. £6.50 per calender month by standing order.
  17. Starting line-up was Esson Cooper Meekings Foran G. Shinnie Sutherland, Draper, OTJ, Doran A. Shinnie, Mckay Lost track of all the subs though. We played some good football again but, as I said on saturday, we just didn't seem to have a plan in the final third. We started very well and controlled the game for the most part. G. Shinnie scored and we continued to play a very good passing game though at times some of the passes went to Brechin feet. Brechin got a penalty for a well timed dive and scored. In the last ten minutes Brechin went all out for the win and got it. They are actually a very good side and I can see them doing well this season. They are all fired up for the game on Sunday and that showed in their desire to go all out for the winner tonight. As for us there is a lot of promise but like many others have said Shane is not a winger. Cooper had a decent game before he was replaced just before half time by Martin Laing. Martin is a promising looking lad. Fights for everything and has a lot of pace. Also has good vision. OTJ also had a decent game. A. Shinnie is the standout though. Others that caught my eye and who will be big players in time are Connor Pepper and the lad Oswell. Though we got beat tonight I wouldn't let my head go down. It was a friendly with something like seven substitutions but it had a lot of positives. We need to work on our final third game though. At the moment I'm not disheartened by the defeat.
  18. Think myself and missus could be there.
  19. They've no mentioned the bridies http://www.dafc.co.uk/articles/20120721/update-about-catering-kiosks-at-east-end-park_2207955_2856037
