  1. Dalglish sack
  2. From Skysports: Meanwhile, defender David Proctor is leaving Inverness after eight years at the Highlands outfit and he admits it will be a wrench to move on. "It's a bit of a wrench to leave the club. But it's time to start the next chapter in my career," noted Proctor
  3. Two highland teams in European competition
  4. Think if I really tried I could probably count on one hand the number of 18 or 19 year olds getting a chance of regular starts in the SPL.
  5. Is the small round one Johndo MacKenzie??
  6. Your right.....the U-21 league ended in season 03/04. The reserve league finished after 08/09 season. That league was a stepping stone for youngsters coming through. Now there is a big gap. The new U-20 set up may bridge it though.
  7. What teams are u watching them play against. Sorry..............for those with no sense of humour I couldn't be ersed searching for the tongue in cheek smiley.............now to explain in more simple terms....I see both us and County finishing next season in the same half of the league so we will have at least two games against them at Viccie park.
  8. Very good bullet points except for the third.....................that one cost me money
  9. I'm an ICT fan but I intend to take in at least two matches at Viccie Park next season. Might even have a pint in the Mallard
  10. Not unbelievable. If they are too old for next seasons U-19 league and not able to be fitted into the first team then what do we do with them? Had the SPL retained the U-21 league there would have been a place for all those lads. Every SPL team is in the same position on this one. Its a shame but thats the state of Scottish football.

  12. jEEZUS DOUGAL CHANGE THE FEKKIN RECORD
  13. And why the feck are we digging up a month old story from the Sun....................especially considering the very first paragraph is totally inacurate. DOUGAL THE MERGER HAPPENED.......ITS DONE AND DUSTED........WE CANT GO BACK.......FOR CHRIST SAKE GET OVER IT OR JUST P*** OFF
  14. Seance with the Seer............................IHE is the Seer. He is the MacKenzie......the Immortal One.....born on the shores of Glenfinnan.......a seventh son of a seventh son with a direct lineage to Coinneach Obhar MacKenzie born in Uig Lewis and domiciled at Brahan Castle on the Black Isle.
  15. Wheres the miscommunication Johndo? Tokely himself spoke to the press.
  16. a three word sentence 'got released today' brings about conspiracies and bad treatment and every other negative suggestion possible. Much like the Morrison story did when it came out.......until explained otherwise. Has any thought gone into the idea that maybe Andrew asked to be released to further his career elsewhere? Another point I'd make is that there is a big gulf between U-19 and first team in SPL. Scrapping the U-21 and reserve league put paid to proper development. There is the odd player in Scotland that has made the grade to first team at U-19 but they are few and far between. All clubs will bring through a few but most have to let players go because they are not quite up to first team development and the clubs cannot afford to continue paying their wages. We have brought through Ross, Shinnie, Sutherland. We are investing in Morrison by sending him to Iceland. We also still have Polworth, Laing and Smith who could still come through. Its not only the players we have to look at its the positions they play. Perhaps we are well covered in Chubbs favoured position. It must be a difficult thing but if players reach the age where they are not able to play in U-19 league then a choice has to be made as to what to do with them. Theoretically a manager could be faced with a group of sixteen or seventeen 20 year olds and places for only one or two of them. What can he do with the rest but release them. Personally I believe we will see Morrison become a regular and possibly more of Polworth next season.
  17. Debut August 1996 v Clyde according to the ICT official site. Your right enough Yngwie. That was a league cup game away to Clyde. Doing deeper research I see he never featured from then till 14th September 96 at home to Shire. He would have played at Telford street then. A new lesson is learned today...........never trust Soccerbase.
  18. Ross made his debut in Scottish cup 1-3 defeat to Hamilton on 25th january 1997. He came on in 82nd minute to replace Ian Stewart. This game would have been played at TCS i'd imagine since we had moved to there in november 96. He probably played in pre-season games at Telford Street.
  19. Sorry Gabby but I see no comparison here. ICT was in debt. The stadium was put in trust to clear that debt. We are now paying off that debt in the form of stadium rental payments. We did not go into administration and we did not fail to pay our debts or taxes. The only time we became a newco was when two Inverness teams merged.

  21. As IHE has said, shoulder dislocation can give problems for the rest of the lads life. He is still just 19 so maybe he can overcome this setback. I can understand why people would make the comparrison with Hoggy but I will assume that any decision has been made with the best medical advise taken into account. Best of luck for the future Andrew
  22. So the man that fecked up the Blades wants a crack at Rangers.................Let them stay in the SPL I say.........they'll only last a season. Greene will sell all the top players, pocket the money, Rangers will go down and Greene will do a runner
  23. Conor Hall is their U-19 keeper
  24. And of course, by the renegade way of thinking, that statement is based on a Fraser of four years ago in a relegation season. No chance that the guy could have improved a lot since he left us. Lets look at Tuffeys record though. This season played 9, defeats 5, draws, 2, wins 2. Shutouts 1, goals against 11. Rene, I think you are being blinded by Tuffey's reasonable record at Partick
