  1. Yep. Next weekend for us. Back on topic. I think part of the pre-match silence is that there's no opposition fans to banter with nowadays. Was great fun in the days when Jailender and co would come on for a bit of fun.
  2. Best of luck to Raith, Airdrie and ICT from the northernmost oil platform in the North Sea
  3. How many sardines can you fit in a can.................Them were the days. No such thing as capacity figures. Just keep the turnstiles revolving till the pitch was in jeopardy of invasion. Do we think it'll be a ticket game for the tuesday one at TCS?
  4. NOBODY is more fussy about grammar than I am, but I have to refer you to this ballad about the indecisive Battle of Sheriffmuir during the 1715 Jacobite Rebellion. There's some say that we wan and some say that they wan And some say that nane wan at a' man But one thing is sure that at Sheriff Muir A battle was fought on that day man And we ran and they ran and they ran and we ran And we ran and they ran awa' man However in the Ballad, "wan" is being used as a past tense whereas Caleyrule is using it as a past participle. On the other hand... let's just settle for "won"! :D You really should get out more Charles! Its the school teacher thing. He just cant help teaching us all.
  5. A win is a must or we could have Dunfermline overtake us otherwise and that would give them encouragement. They also have the advantage of having both RC and Dundee at home. Christ, if you try and work out all the permutations its going to be exciting if nothing else. Dundee have spent a fair bit this season on what was seen as SPL quality players and that seems to have failed so I cant see them looking at two who are young and only proven in this league. I can see a new manager coming in though. One with broader contacts.
  6. And the Sun had him and Odi as the best players in the team that day Thread not started to boost ego. Thread started to encourage a local youngster to show us all what he really can do.
  7. Um it kinda is since you are saying in your post that he should or will be playing. If you read some of the papers today you'd see he's the favoured choice to replace Foran. And he has the support of the rest of the team in that.
  8. This is not a debate about who should play. there are plenty other threads for that. Please stick to the title of this thread.
  9. On saturday you have the opportunity to become a star. To be hero worshipped by every ICT fan. Your manager believes in you. Your fellow players believe in you. Go out there, enjoy the moment, and play like you've never played before. Make the ICT faithful believe in you and stick it right up the enemy from across the bridge. What could be better than an Inverness lad showing the caravanners up for the fakes they really are. GO GET EM NICK ROSS
  10. Ah well..... Nick's on a roll just now.... :) Did anyone notice that Nick was actually made captain for the night and exercised his right to decide who takes the penalty. Nice gesture as reward for saturday.
  11. Yep, so can everyone else apart from Dundee.
  12. RiG, you didn't see Dundee ever being caught this season.
  13. Two points dropped by Dundee. We now need to capitalise on this. Match them and watch our backs. especially Dunfermline.
  14. Someone please tell Ayr Morton are one up.
  15. From all the reports I've read the difference between this game and the upcoming County one is that County will be trying to play and score. I dont think even Foran would have been successful against nine defenders.
  16. Poll is rigged. Only eleven choices from a squad of 25 and everyone of them has an important role
  17. Stadium MoM is chosen by match sponsors and guests. Usually this involves a vote among a group of intoxicated hangers on so it shouldn't be a surprise. To be fair the daily ranger player ratings give Odi and Ross top marks.
  18. Not even going to vote in this poll because it hints of defeatism and until its mathematically impossible to win this league then my positivity stays with ICT.
  19. Further south than what? Than being our neighbours, where is the town of Raith anyway? B) I realise the question is tongue in cheek but many many hundred years ago there was a settlement to the west of Kircaldy called Raith, which means Fort in some obscure language. In 596 AD the Angles came north and fought the Picts at the battle of Raith.
  20. Yep. My mistake. He did start against PT 26/9/09, as did Shinnie, and came on as sub the week before that.
  21. Further south than what? If County were to get to the final I'd go and support them.........................think I'm offshore then though.
  22. I actually think, for financial reasons, they'll see the replay as a bigger game that ours and will be wary of injury. Not if they have any belief in winning the league they wont!! For quarter mill + they may think they can forfiet one league game to increase their payday.
