  1. Gave yellow's to Tokely and Wood at Tynie this year
  2. Garden couldn't play. He's not registered. We could recall McNulty or we may be allowed to get an emergency loan from somewhere.
  3. Brilliant job to get as far as they did. What happened to Kyle?
  4. Personally I prefer not to take heed of what folk, who dont have an honest clue, say about individual players. I rather take it that the people involved in the development and coaching of the players on a day to day basis do know what is needed and whether or not a player will make the grade. Zander is small and light and I think would struggle against some of the big boys of the game but I think there is also times when his type can make a difference. Just now its strength and experience we need if we are to survive. Also, at the minute he is in the same boat as everyone else who is out of contract in the summer. They all, players and management, want to know what division before they contemplate any committment.
  5. Not fair comment. These players are just not good enough. They are not fleecing anyone. I won't even mention the difference between a ten and forty year working life. Sorry but I totally disagree. Its us who work that pay their wages.
  6. A lot of the people who come through the turnstyles work 40 hours plus each week for 5 or 6 quid an hour Some work similar, or more, hours for a little more. I risk my life to go to work. You guys get paid a lot for what you do. Fifteen to twenty hours a week. Average ?50 an hour. Sorry guys but your taking the proverbial. You're fleecing the workers.

Please, Please, Please, dont put blame soley on Lionel. Another thirteen guys in that team were sh!te

Both Callum Murray and the tent side linesman were in the pocket of FFC
  9. I counted at least 4 incidents of blatant diving where it didn't work but Murray took no action on the perpetrators. You guys have gone from a good footballing team to a shower of dirty cheating barstewards
  10. Butcher called us to arms. Such a pity his platoon took fright. Well done to the Sesh for the noise. Shame the sound didn't motivate. And if any player reads this I hope your ashamed of the crap you dished up. Our U-11's would have put you's to shame today.
  11. Ceske, as someone who used to live in the area and go watch the Bairns from time to time it saddens me to see a team that, once could play football, cheat their way to success. We were absolutely crap, and there's every chance that if you'd actually played you'd have won anyway, but the blatant cheating and Murray in your pocket was so obvious it was embarrassing.

Failed to mark the guy who was a mile offside, thinking the linesman would make a fair call.
  13. Truth.........................a call from Butcher for a twelfth man and 540 odd souls turn out to cheer on their team. Such a pity the team didn't turn up. Even realising we'd be playing against 13 in the opposition team, two of them wearing yellow, we should have played them of the park. But no!! That would be too sensible. We didn't string two passes together all game. Every player was guilty of winning ball then giving it back. Even Ian Black was nothing like his usual self today. The only stand out for me was Rossco. He at least tried to create but we dont have recievers for the crosses into the box. Why oh why do our players become frightened of the ball. They're supposed to be footballers so why cant they play football. Nobody wanted to dribble, nobody wanted to create, nobody wanted to hold the ball. Get it and punt it, get it and punt it. That was our game plan today.
  14. Know the feeling Davie. Careful when you bend your neck back to swallow the drink. Take care, get back healthy soon.
  15. Rhia, you may just find you do get a chance. To everyone else, yes this is a cry for cash but more than that its a cry to arms. Your team needs you. Get out there and get behind them. Remember the Bruce. So long as 100 of us may live, we will stay in this league.
  16. The ?15 tickets are for their shed thingy. Compare them to us and see who's getting ripped off. South Stand Adult ?20, Bairns, Students and OAP's ?15
  17. I think referee's need to be allowed to make the decisions. Lately, especially down south, I see more and more communication between all four officials. That can only be a good thing and should be encouraged. A ref cannot see everything in the same way a fan high up in a stand can so he will miss something but if the other officials see it they need to be more forthcoming and assist as they are supposed to do. I dont see need for video evidence unless its to appeal a wrong decision in something like a wrongful identity or sending off. I do, however, think ref's need to let games flow a bit more. Giving a free kick for a shoulder charge is stupid. Strongest player wins the ball end off. Clamp down on shirt pulling, holding and blatant cheating or dirty tackling but let the rest go and let the game be played in the spirit of its invention.
  18. There was never a thistle in the name. I dont even think calling it Caledonian Stadium had anything to do with that club but more with Caledon that ancient name for these lands and the fact we sit pretty much at that end of the Caledonian Canal. I wholeheartedly support all Scotty say's with reference to David Sutherland. Without him this club would not exist. Nor do I have issue with the Tulloch name but do agree that there could be money to be made by re-naming. Now if we could just get someone to build a hotel on the west of the stadium, incorporating a stand. I believe birdog to be right regards the Kevin Bissett enclosure which leaves the club with the opportunity to name both North and South Stands, the Jock MacDonald Stand and the Norman Miller Stand. Think I'll put a question to that effect to boardroom banter.
  19. Is the North stand not already named the Kevin Bissett stand?
  20. A substitution cannot be made without the refs permission and he doesn't need to see the board because the fourth official would already have communicated via intercom.
  21. These stats and scores need to be taken with a pinch of salt. When did the inspector look at the surface? In mid winter when there's no growth in the grass, probably after two consecutive home games and a reserve / U-19. Undersoil heating in itself should not be a problem. The problem for us is that it was installed into the pitch whereas the normal method would be to install before the pitch is laid. Anyway, I remember who was runner-up in the Scottish groundsman of the year last season and thats good enough for me.
  22. Players get a choice at the start of the season to choose long or short sleeve. Brian joined us late. Most players choose short sleeve anyway. Not sure what you mean by SPL name but if its official numbering your after then I believe the t-shirt place in the Victorian Market in Inverness do it.
  23. TOO RITE, he never mentioned the added time for a while and the substitutions werent mentioned until they were on the pitch. Adam Rooney never had a clue, not just because he couldnt see the board, but because there was no tanoy taking place. And even when you read the line up, a bit more entusium is needed. CD, I know what your saying and if I had the choice I'd give you the job. Thosewho run this club should pay more attention to what goes on at Tynecastle when they're there rather than being blinded by the hospitality. Steven, there are things the announcer is not allowed to do and one of those is to announce substitutions before they are actually made. Besides, pretending not to realise your being substituted is a time wasting ploy used by many players.
  24. Falkirk wear their home strip we wear ours. There's a world of difference between the two.
  25. I'm not questioning whether or not the guy is good at the job. I do, however, question your statement of fact, highlighted above. Where are they and why are they not puting themselves forward then?
