Spl2
Idea is, apparantly, to encourage more full time football. But at what cost? Do the SPL2 clubs have to meet stadium criterea etc? The leagues will be 12 and 10.

Richie Byrne
St johnstone have asked us to help out with an emergency loan and we've agreed to give them Richie for a month. This could be very good for him and us. He gets badly needed match experience and maybe comes back better for it at a time when we could well need the guy performing at his very best.

Break From Tradition ?
I rang terry and advised that very formation. He said he'd confirm with the great Seer.

Spl2
My understanding is that any changes would come into effect at the beginning of a season so if it started next season then the league standings at the end of this season would apply. i.e. one down one up SPL1. SPL2 would consist of all those who qualify for div 1 at the end of this season. The effect of all this must surely be less money to go round.

Football Comes Home
It was actually the 29th Jan. Remember it well. Straight after the game I went and broke my foot.

A Shake Up Of The Board
You could ask why do we need a builder or a window fitter. People with good business acumen are whats required. If thats a headhunter then so be it.

Month Of Home Games
We lose to Rangers, draw at Aberdeen and win all the rest. I remember a time not so long ago when that sort of optimism was the norm on this site.

Robbo Returns
Hi John, No matter the subject or whoever the poster is there will always be those who seem to find fault or hidden agenda's. Loads of people have come on here and asked sensible questions and the replies have been interesting and informative. Most appreciate you showing a genuine interest in the fortunes of ICT and of Inverness and its very refreshing to hear positive reporting on the radio as opposed to the central belt bias we usually have to endure. I think I can speak for most in saying thanks for taking the time out to respond to the questioning. Alex

Month Of Home Games
Between now and the split, and provided we keep the current form going, I see the points being awarded as follows: Inverness - 19 Motherwell - 7 Falkirk - 6 St Mirren - 4 Hamilton - 3 Killie - 3 I think Hibs will pick up more tham Motherwell so will stay in the top half. So positions at the split would be: 7th Motherwell - 39 8th Inverness - 38 9th Hamilton - 32 10th = Killie - 31 10th = St Mirren - 31 12th Falkirk - 29 Makes for an interesting last five games of the season.

When Will We Get Our Own Identity?
We can debate this till the cows come home but unless we act it aint gonna happen. Find a tune that is catchy, that all agree with, that is good for young and old. Put words to it that reflect ICT...........................then sing the bloody thing. And if your succesful speak to Kenny of Sheihallion (find him in the Gellions) and he may just agree to recording it.

Adam Rooney
Quite simple really................Dougie and Eric are forming a really good partnership. We dont know what goes on behind the scenes so we are not in a position to pick the first start players. I let the coaches do the choosing and hope they get it right. We've a squad of 26 players All have differing abilities. All know what they have to do to get a start. And all know they are part of a team and that it's only some supporters who think different.

Dundee United -v- Ict : Matchday Thread
At first look it seemed fair enough, but on the replay Russel clearly gets a decent nick on the ball before he trips the man. I hope TB has a good look at the video. He may well have got a touch on the ball but, from where I was sitting and I knew what would happen, Russel was intent on stopping the opportunity. He knew what would happen but he went ahead. He played for the team regardless of outcome. Good on you Russelldinho

Should have added. The break and resultant goal came after our free kick. Ball was cleared and our defense never got back in time.

Dundee United -v- Ict : Matchday Thread
Sending off. We were in their area, defensive line high. Ball came out over the defence and Swanson broke through to chase it. Duncan was quickest to see and act. He chased down and brought down Swanson. We were attacking, they broke. Perhaps the central defence should have stayed back but its easy to say with hindsight. Their goal came from too many people in the box. Header in which Esson sees late and fumbles. Wilkie first on the ball and taps in.

Was left mid. Quietish game really. Not helped by being climbed all over and not getting the decisions for it.

Dundee United -v- Ict : Matchday Thread
Just home. We should have won this one but the point will help. First of I'd say get of Duncans back. He knew what he was doing. He took a red for the team. He had a decent game and prevented what would have, without doubt, been a goal. The midfielder tackled from behind in a last man situation. Ask yourselves where the defence was. Esson's fumble gave away a goal but to be fair to him the ball should have been booted into Dens stadium before it even got to him. Both teams made chances. Both teams were pretty equal and the result is, probably, a fair reflection of the game. For me, and in answer to Johndo's point, this starting eleven are beginning to gel together and it would be risky to change them without good reason. Imrie and Odhiambo look like they'll become the pairing we've been crying out for. Generally our defence is looking very good as is the midfield. The pitch wasn't the best for playing football on and the ref was crap but we're now three games undefeated. Things are looking more positive for ICT.
