Bus From The Bus Station To Stadium
Along with one or two others I generally try and cadge a lift to the game when I come up then walk back to town. But only because walking takes up valuable drinking time.

So why are they not queuing up to get in there then??

Therein lies one problem. The majority of our squad have no contracts at the end of this season. The other being that Butcher came a week or two too late. Captaincy could have been a great bargaining tool to persuade our most creative, defence and attack minded player to stay at the club. Of the rest I think Rossco has the right attitude. McBain and Duncan maybe but not sure. I think the captain needs to be a central defender of central midfielder. Pavels would maybe have communication problems. Maybe Brian Kerr could do it. Too many maybe's so I'll need to hope Grant can get it all together.

Stadium Announcer
Such sad people this world breeds. Taking the p out of someone who gives up his saturday afternoon to step in and cover a job, free of charge. Maybe some of those who mouth of should go along and audition for the position. I wonder how many could do any better in front of 4000 souls in a stadium with a reputation for atmosphere second only to McDairmid park.

Which Way Does The Wind Blow
This has to be a contender for one of the funniest threads I've ever read.

My theories on lower official crowds at cup games: 1. Season ticket holders who feel they've already paid enough so dont attend the cup games. 2. The unsupported allegations of crowd fixing. 3. Each club is entitled to a large number of freebie tickets and these are not included in the gate count. Personally I dont believe No.2 applies because there would need to be a system of transparency it place to allow the opposing team to audit the figures.

Sponsorships
Hate to be pedantic, nah I love it really, but the quoted prices are for a half season............not seasonly, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or anything elsely :thumb04: Hate to be even more pedantic than you but the lassie did ask for full season prices

I think captaincy is Grants problem. He just isn't able to play his own game and control the team. Being a Nessian he wants to be nice to everyone. He doesn't have the little bit of badness needed to captain a team. Take it away from him and he'll improve his game.

Sponsorships
As birdog hinted the full season prices are twice those quoted for half season + VAT. For your money you get an invitation to a 'Meet the Player' evening where you get a drink and some food and a photo with the player. At the end of the season you'll get a 'unique ICTFC memento' which is the reason why I'll be thinking twice about sponsoring again. It used to be you'd get the item you sponsored but the commercial department, in their wisdom, decided to change that. It doesn't take a highly educated person to realise that may be the reason for a need to try and sell half season sponsorship.

Where/who We Play After Split
Last season was 3 home 2 away so this season will be 3 away 2 home. Based on the balance of home and away with Falkirk St Mirren and Kilmarnock over this season and last we will be .........home to Falkirk..........away to St Mirren...........away to Kilmarnock Up to the split our balance of home and away with Hibs and Motherwell will be equal so the league will need to decide whether to keep that balance for this season and we play them away or whether to allocate them as a home game. I think it will be away to Hibs/ Well and home to Hamilton based on Hamilton being the new boys in the league. We could, of course, win our next four games and Hibs and Motherwell fail to take a point then all of the above would be worthless. If folk think the fixtures are a headache then think of the poor Highland Marchers. Last game away on 23rd May and Junior has to get back to Sneck for the ICT Ball. As do the players and anyone else attending.

Team For Falkirk.

Djebi-zadi
IHE cannot be canonised for two reasons. Only the dead become saints and McKenzies are like vampires.....they cannot die. The only seer ever recognised by the churches is the prophet Issiah. All others are deemed to be servants of the devil. Oh! And I thinkDjebi is growing in confidence with every game.

So To The Red Card For Djebi Zadi
I suppose........................stuck out on Hirta fun would be in short supply

Kids For A Quid Offer
I'd tend to agree with the Skyeman. Seat allocation is computerised so only unallocated seats should be printed out on the tickets. On days that are not sell out I usually sit in an empty seat next to people I know regardless of ticket allocation. Those who chose to sit in RiGs seat probably had the same idea and wanted to be among the noise. I presume they moved without arguement so no harm done.

So To The Red Card For Djebi Zadi
To prevent future arguement and slagging of posters who may or may not be in the 'know' please use the following instructions: GO TO HERE At the top of the page click on 'Inside Football' Click 'Discipline' then 'Current suspensions' in the left column. Click on most recent folder then ' Player suspensions' then most recent issue of player suspensions which will open a pdf list. The list is published every thursday. Bookmark it. Hey presto..........the inside information for all to see. Great thing this internet malarky.

Falkirk Roll Call
A win gives us a 7 point cushion over Falkirk but I wouldn't say they were doomed just yet. Killies next 4 games aren't easy ones and I can see both them and the Midden fall further. I think I'll be at this one.

Ict -v- Kilmarnock : Matchday Thread
I haven't read all this thread yet but to answer the point made by Yngwie......the SFA publish a list of suspensions each thursday. Clubs are notified and the list is public domain on their website. Lionel is clearly listed as having to miss I Scottish Cup match in the 09/10 season. THIS LINK

Winning Ugly
First point............next weeks game is the most important. Its a definite six pointer. Second point.......from being in a position where we believed we were doomed and a few points of second bottom we are back in a position where a win next week can see us climb a couple of places. Thats not just down to Butcher and Malpas. Thats down to every player in this team puting in the effort and going out on match day and following the instructions of the management team. Ask Dougie or any one of the squad why they played a particular way and they will always answer.....cos thats what the gaffer wanted. Dougie may not be seen as a striker by many but he is doing the required job. He has pace and agility and his running around confuses defenders enough to allow the Forans and others to get up and into scoring positions.

Pressure?
In the history of the SPL only one team has ever gone straight back up.
-
Pavels
Nobody is going to have contract talks till we know we're staying up. The club and Butcher have publicly stated that. We would not be able to afford the wages if we're relegated so there's not much point debating it IMO.

Hoots Mon There's A Moose Loose....
Surprised it took so long to get the news onto this site. Was reported on grampian news and in P&J, Daily Ranger a week ago.
