David Sutherland has put a lot of money and effort into getting this club out of debt and operating within its means. Something thats been the envy of most other clubs in the league. I think Alan Savage wanted to progress the club with borrowings and thats where the breakdown came about. Where major building contracts are being cancelled or written off all over the country I dont believe the site of TCS to be worth enough for DS to recoup his investments. Bear in mind a major part of his building empire was transferred to ROK. Houses will never be built at TCS without big changes to the local plan so I cant see much profit being made in the next few years from the site. Personally I dont believe Sutherland is strangling the club. I believe he is trying to keep the business solvent.

I know that Inverness is a fairly small place and that people know people and some of those people may get some information from time to time. I also know the Heathmount is a warm friendly place where complete strangers chat to each other. I know there are people who frequent the Heathmount who are involved with the club and or are posters on here. I also know, and have wtnessed, that some people can position themselves such that they eavesdrop on conversations and pick up snippets that are then posted on here as 'I'm in the clique' type facts.

As long as we're keeping up payments on the lease then they'd really have no reason to. I do think, however, that they'd be interested if the lease was to transfer to someone with other idea's for the site.

Ordinarily I'd maybe agree with you both but the reserves were up against a pretty strong Rangers team including Dailly, Beasley, Novo, Adam and Burke. It would also appear from the report that Rory and Zander were linking up very well.

your stats are well off the mark as mcguires not been updated for about 10 years and proctors is a few years old too I would have thought that, considering those three have not been anywhere near ten years with the club, the official site would be pretty close to the mark.

Cowie and Fraser have both said they dont want to discuss contracts just yet. I think most of the squad are out of contract come the summer. Not all of them have agents so they should be getting sorted now. No excuses there. With agents it can be difficult to get all parties together at the same time.

At the time of CC's resignation David Sutherland was quoted as saying John Robertson would never be back in charge so long as he (Sutherland) had a say in the club. I dont know the reasons for this but I can imagine that, whether or not he was considered, the board aka Sutherlands puppets, would have voted against his return. It would be strange if Savage hadn't considered Robbo in light of giving him a job at Orion.
