  1. Very hard to be optimistic after that but to quote Mrs M, "that is the worst I've ever seen of Caley Thistle so thinks can only get better".
  2. Will Hibs let him go cos nobody is going to pay the 3 million they're asking.
  3. What we must find come January is a holding midfielder.
  4. Seemed to me today that the players just couldn't be ersed playing the game. Some of the passes did go in the right direction but nobody bothered moving into the spaces to pick up the ball. When we did make attacks, Hastings and Rossco got up the wings a few times, nobody bothered to get up into the box to pick up on the crosses. £50 for tickets. £30 for petrol and a tenner to Scotcoup to watch a team display less skill than a schoolboy team. Thats dedication I suppose.
  5. Yes, I heard the gentleman as well. Didnt get much response from Trainor though.
  6. Been a while since the Steelers have been in a relegation battle so, sorry BP, today we do all in our power to keep you down there.
  7. Hi Pigpie, nice to see your still alive man but your team will die today :005:
  8. The reason St Mirren have put forward for refusing to change the date of the fixture is, "we cant trust our players not to drink on hogmanay so we will take them to Inverness and stay over the on that day. That way we can keep an eye on them."
  9. 1. Who cares 2. McSwegan aint on loan.
  10. Personally I take the daily ranger with a pinch of salt but if it is true then its only a loan deal and, from what I gather, will only happen if CC can find a way to recall if the need arises. We may have plenty midfielders and strikers but good defenders are not so common among our ranks.
  11. Would that be a Marquis of Queensbury or do you mean a marquee
  12. Official site stats and teletext both say 5 mate
  13. You dont pay for the recording. You go knock on the studio door and say please help us out Mr recorder man. Might be a problem at TCS with Dee's accent though.
  14. To get a song that people will sing is not easy. It has to be catchy, easy remembered and singable. Better if its been recorded and played over the PA. So someone needs to write it. Someone needs to want to record it. The stadium announcer needs to play it. Quite a tall order methinks. Then we need to be winning to get folk to sing.
  15. Dargo picked up his fifth league yellow last saturday. Cup cards dont count towards tally. Had he six he would have been suspended for Motherwell.
  16. Wot, no covered seating.
  17. .....................................for that extra special christmas gift. TRY HERE
  18. After eight home games in the league, so far, the average crowd is 4806. thats 167 down on the same period last season which was 4973. Unfortunately, the Hearts game was down some 1200 on last season. We've improved our home record so what else do we need to do to get bums on seats at every home game.
  19. For me the entertainment starts with the drive up the A9. The scenery, the nutters, waving my scarf out the car window at the County and Huns buses heading south. Maybe even stopping for a chat with a friendly Sneck traffic cop :008:(as happened last sat :008: :008:) The pre match activities in the Innes or Social club. The final journey to the stadium full of expectation. Pies, people, screeming my lungs out and then, win lose or draw, the aftermatch banter and the philosiphying about what might have been. Alcohol in abundance. And, if I'm staying over and still sober, the stars of the day who drop into the Heathmount. Well worth every penny. :021:
  20. I go with Chibber's selection except that Hart is injured so I predict Zander gets a start on the left. :004:
  21. He's actually been suffering from an ankle injury for a number of weeks now.
  22. Apparantly Keogh is the one that teams are enquiring about for a loan deal.
  23. I'm sure Sutherland and McAllister will get their chances pretty soon. With Dargo on 5 cards and Wilson on 4 suspensions are a strong possibility. To say that CC is neglectful of fringe players is a bit ott though. Do we want to be chopping and changing the team every week aka Le Guen and Romanov with little or no success or do we want stability. Those players who start week in week out gel together, know each other and are able to read each other so they work as a team. Bringing in others doesn't always help to maintain that stability. New players coming in always need a few games to gel with the rest. As for Ritchie Hart, he has been a standout when he's come on. Unfortunately he's still being bothered with a groin strain so there's a risk in starting him.
  24. Ooooopppppps...........forgot about that one Stevie :008:
