  1. just because we don't agree with everything the board does means we're not real supporters!! shut yer puss!! also i see that you've only done 32 posts. if you're a big time fan, where have you been for the past wee while?? And 107 posts gives you the right to make such a stupid statement does it?
  2. Thats right, hide behind your screen and hurl childish abuse.
  3. Nothing new there then
  4. You'd think she'd eat it wi the rest o the burd
  5. I WAS planning to come but now I'm stuck offshore.....feckin fog :019:
  6. 3 games out of 38
  7. Scotty, first two points. All the newspapers I read, with reference to Warnock, quoted his agent and not him personally. Point three was directed at those who have chosen to give up their support for the club without actually knowing facts but instead basing their decision on heresay. I didn't actually think you came into that category. Point four could have maybe been worded better but it was with reference to those who chose to boycott this club after 94 and the various boycotts of meetings etc prior to amalgamation.
  8. Was he recruiting or just having a drink with some mates. I had a drink with him a couple of times after he left and he always came across to me to be in Inverness to unwind. As to his DU record, yes there were good high paid players there but his instruction was to get rid of them, not to play them. He also introduced double training, something those players rebelled against. They were being asked to work for three hours a day, four days a week and play on a saturday. Thirteen and a half hour week and they weren't happy. Unhappy players brought down Craig Brewster, not his position. Looking at Scotty's stats, Brew's record was better when he was on the field.......so was Dargo's. I think he may actually prove a better coach of our strikers. Especially Bayne and Rory.
  9. Could you no wait until the Celtic game? I got pelters of my mates the last time you were there. 'Who's the loud mouth ****** in the caley top?', 'are all Invernessians d*ckheads like that one?', 'that must be the IMMORTAL REAR ENDER going by the gob on it!'. So please extend your boycott one more game as I'm running out of excuses, 'no he's not typical!', 'no he's a one of in any society', 'no,no,no.......................' :001: I'll be in the Albion if you want to buy me a pint gerx
  10. There's not one person on here who knows whether or not Warnock was spoken to so why are the Board being slagged of on this point. Only a newspaper reporter suggested he was interested. The club acknowledged that but say he never applied. If a few people on here decide they are giving up their support, based on assumptions, then so be it. Thats their right. Just dont miscry those of us who choose to support our team through thick and thin. This club is pretty much used to boycotts, since their inception, and have survived.
  11. Nobody, we're playing 3-4-3
  12. Do we really need another thread on the same subject? Get real, grow up and get a life. As Johndo see's we will survive and prosper.
  13. Moderators, I take offence to this post. Personal insult against anyone should not be allowed. Craig Dargo, Zander Sutherland, Rory McAllister and other youths that I cant remember were all brought to the first team by Brewster.
  14. Charles, that has just reminded me of something else. Brewsters first day in charge last time. We were in the Golf club and I nipped out to get a copy of Going Ballistic, which Ian Broadfoot was signing. He wasn't too impressed when I said "thanks Mr Bannerman." Anyway, whilst heading back to the club I was stopped by Setanta guy and asked my opinion on our new signing. One Craig Brewster.
  15. Centre back..............we are still in discussion with the Derry lad. There's too much nagativity at the minute. Time to take stock of what we have and get behind the team. Talk of boycotts and chucking season tickets will help nobody. Bit like chucking the dummy. None of us know how things will turn out and I would like to think that the board of this club are doing the best they can, given the resources.
  16. One thing I would add here is that, of all the candidates, Brewster is the one that knows most of the players and their qualities and so should not need to waste time assessing what he has available.
  17. Clacher, can you explain your statement "make ammends for leaving the NI international scene"
  18. No matter my opinion of Craig Brewster as a manager I have found him to be a very nice person and I feel that some of the abuse being hurled at him is uncalled for and totally out of order.
  19. Was speaking to the wife of a mate, who had been at the butchers for some chops for the tea when she got talking to a wee manny in the queue who had heard from his sister-in-laws auntie Mary, whose pal that lives in Chorley had said that the Immortal Howden Ender was not all he claims to be and in fact he was no more immortal than you or I. Turns out he's just a wee guy wi a tatoo on his bum. And I just says to her "you know Sue thats how rumours and gossip start".
  20. Forgot me tongue in cheek smiley. Anyway, he was actually in there for a pint after his game of golf with a top notch film producer who wants to make a documentary based on his success's in the game before mosying along to the Heathmount where the lovely Fiona was arranging his special 'welcome back Craig' slap up meal. Come tomorrow, somewhere below here, that paragraph will read. Brewster got gubbed at golf by Steven Spielberg and so got p!shed, he ran down to the Heathmount, poured his dinner over Fiona and threw up on the table.
  21. When I grow up I'm going to be a moderator so I can play little games on people too :blah01:
  22. :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:
  23. Neil Lennon, no matter what he was like as a player, will one day be a sought after manager.
  24. Jesus he gets about.....Marriot to Kingsmills
  25. I will always be supportive of this team and if Brewster proves to bring positive play and positive results then I'll also be supportive of him. To be honest we need to get back to the days of being able to last 90 mins. And that is one thing we could achieve under Brew. He had stamina levels up so we were able to play exactly like Celtic do now. Absorb for 75 mins, tire out the opposition then hit them hard for the last 15. Remember how we felt when Celtic done just that to us in the Scottish Cup. We were quite good at the same tactic under Brew. First and foremost we need results to stay in the league and his first half dozen games is when he'll be judged so I'm prepared, assuming he is the one chosen, to support him and the team until they falter.
