  1. As a club on the whole we've not really made the money on sales which we could & should have. Cowie and Robson for a combined 150k ...peanuts!
  2. We've paid plenty of fees, Paterson spent thousands on fees building his squad...but in those days it was highland league players we bought - not valued that highly but due to our Scottish League status we had to pay fees into thousands of pounds.
  3. Beaten to the punch by tm4tj, and a league table graphic to boot.
  4. Oh dear, Carlo the sub has been subbed. Least it gets Coll some game time
  5. Nice that their ex captain scored today. Not looking good for uncle Roy and his wad of banknotes. ☺
  6. Jesus Nicola, you let the mask slip, literally.
  7. Well, she can control her borders here, just chooses not to. Even our 'lockdowns' were flimsy compared to NZ & Aus.
  8. Better late than never I suppose.
  9. And Kettlewell has got his kids back. U21 kids, that is.
  10. No love for Lennon or Celtic, but nice to see Hearts take a sickening penalty defeat!
  11. Playoffs...that suggests they don't finish last, and we manage second...fantasy football indeed.
  12. Ach, Sturgeon has to do something to make herself look pro-active rather than reactive. No consideration for the tiers that she set up. Wonder what numbers will be allowed in to grounds after this...?
  13. Awful time to get the boot, true, how cruel? Business decision, if only we'd been a bit cruel... The premature end to last season probably bought him some time. Always cash about with uncle Roy- just look at the size of that squad - Christmas trimmings anyone..?
  14. Wont miss his shaven forehead on the telly, for sure. Would Ferguson step back in, or does he prefer being out of the line of direct fire.
  15. Chances of some more unfilled seats in the next 300 after that debacle. Can you have a groundhog season?
  16. I thought for a lot of the match it was us putting the hammer down and Dundee players were dropping like flies, had it not for the ref being more lenient initially , I felt like it was only a matter of when not if we had a player sent off.
  17. Fair result, some difference from playing QoTS who couldn't finish anything to Dundee who had a real threat in the final third. Not a day for showboating, or the faint hearted.
  18. Might see a red card today. ☺
  19. Need to stop being so wasteful. Kennedy fairly anon so far.
  20. Need the replays after that offside/crunching tackle.
  21. Is there a sync problem between audio & video...my audio is way behind ?
  22. Perhaps an opt-in would have been/be beneficial, thereby removing all who do not wish to attend in current circumstances - those left can all go into the ballot and after being picked are removed from further ballots until all those opted in have attended. Those that like to moan & whine can find something in that as well, but they can pretty much find fault in anything.
  23. I think it's the likes of Debenhams which impacted on the small businesses initially, taking footfall away from the high streets before the dotcom shopping took off. Let's not forget that without a flagship Debenhams presence the Eastgate2 would have struggled to get out of the ground. Mike Ashley will keep some of the business afloat, which he's done successfully over the years - buying up overvalued brands for sums closer to their real value. Depending on location some premises will be kept/expanded and/or brought together with existing brands in his portfolio. To have so many concessions under one (arcadia) group was madness from the outset...too many eggs in the basket. Doomed.
  24. I was at hampden a few years later when we beat the reigning champions, minus the hand of God. He died on the same date as George Best as well.
