  1. Very saddened to hear this news. I knew ross and his family well growing up and went to many an ICT game with him. His presence with be missed in the terraces that's for sure.

500k!!! What a disrespectful offer to both the club and the player. If Swansea have paid 700k for the lad from Falkirk then surely Ryan is worth over the million mark. I would rather see him go for nothing in the summer than be walked all over by the bullies of Scottish football!! Get a grip Celtic
  3. Does anyone know if the games against astra are on TV?
  4. When the players walked out and the fans held up their cards, what did it say? Couldn't see as we were hold up the cards

Esson Raven Meekings Devine Shinnie Tansey Draper Doran Watkins Christie Ofere That would be what I would go will but I think yogi will do it slightly differently. I think he will start with williams ahead of doran or Christie and bring the other on later. I think we need to use our superior pace and match sharpness to get a Falkirk right from the start
  6. What! All 20,000 of us? 20,000? What have you been smoking old man?
  7. I see they have beat Burnley u21's 9-1. Not much of an achievement that if you ask me!
  8. 07:40 from Wakefield! Absolutely buzzing!

Why is everyone saying goodbye? He hasn't left yet, he's only going down for talks and he might decide he wants to stay

You have to praise his honesty. I must be honest, I wasn't JH biggest fan when his was appointed but he has grown on me a lot and we are doing well. Maybe, since we have lost 2 in a row, it might be an idea to give the likes of Ross and Doran a start to mix things up, make the shape and tactics a bit more unpredictable. Adding a bit more pace might throw the opposition off the scent
  12. I like to think of Ryan as our Gareth Bale - looks a bit like him too.

I am not sure we really need cover for Billy. We have a lot of strength going forward and plenty of players who can score. We have already played this season without a recognised striker on the pitch so why not do it again. I can't see this window being a busy one for the club but I think the summer window will be if the likes of Shinne goes and clubs showing serious interests in young Ryan Christie. Summer will no doubt be I interesting time for the club

Whichever way you look at it, 3700 for a highland derby match is digraceful! Thats the sort of crowd we should at least be getting for a game against St Mirren, Hamilton etc. I agree with PerfICT, the league stucture needs to change so teams are not playing each other 4 times a season - it gets boring. Scotland is not a big enough country to have 4 leagues. I think the SPL needs 18 teams so you only play each other twice. The palyoff system is a good start but more needs to be done to stop the monotomy
  15. Play like we did against Motherwell and we have every chance of taking the 3 points.
  16. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28692889 Having read this article about the potential signing of Lewis Horner I was utterly shocked by the comments the Hughes has made about the expectations of the team for the upcoming season. In the last part of the article he is quoted as saying "If we stay up then we'll be happy and anything else is a bonus" This is not the type of thing I want to be hearing from our manager. We have finished in the top 6 for the last 2 seasons and I expect the same again. If he had said "If we finish in the top 6 then we'll be happy and anything else is a bonus" then I'd agree with that. I was not convinced with the appointment of Hughes and I am even less convinced by him now
  17. Does anyone know how many season tickets have been sold so far?
  18. Starting now against Uraguay. Playing agaimst the likes of Forlan and Cavani, well done Billy
  19. With jogi as gaffer, anything could happen
  20. The cup run, especially the semi-final drama and the demise of Hibs
  21. Were the golf stands built as a temporary measure in case we didn't stay in the SPL very long? Now we are an established SPL side, surely something more permanent should be, at least behind the home goal.
  22. Having just read that Hearts have got rid of Jamie Hamill, Ryan Stevenson and Jamie McDonald, does anyone think any of these three would be a good addition to the squad? I think Stevenson would be good. I would defiantly go for McDonald if we didn't already have Brill.
  23. I think a tour de Yorkshire would be a good pre season warm up for the lads as there are a lot of teams that would provide a good test for the lads like Leeds, Huddersfield, the Sheffield sides, Doncaster, Bradford, Barnsley, Rotherham etc. Plus I live in Yorkshire and could go to then all

Give him the summer to work on the team, get in the players he wants and mould them to his style of play. If after 6 games of next season we are near the bottle and still playing crap football, get him out!
