Oh look, Dalneigh finds fault with one of my posts again.
As I said, Brewster made some honking mistakes today, and most will throw the old one defeat from relegation statistic at me, but I'd reply that we are also 1 victory (with our away form as it is, a very winnable game against St Mirren) away from the top 6.
Que someone hurling abuse at me for having a different opinion to their own.
Chris certianly not going to hurl abuse as yes we are all entitled to our opinions but are you not worried the way things are going
I am indeed worried. Brewster continually makes stupid mistakes at home and frequently shows his tactical inexperience. However, I just don't think things are that bad. United would have been expected to win today, and by the sounds of things in the first half at least we gave them a game.
I also look at what Brewster has brought to the club (far more than Christie IMO). I'm impressed at the way he is willing to throw young guys in at the deepend, and yes on some occasions these decisions have not worked the way he would have liked, but I direct you to the preformance of Gary Wood and Ian Vigurs at Hibs. He seems to at least try to play half decent football, and so far has been excellent in the transfer market (Djebdi-Zadi aside). He is master of the counter attack and genuinely seems to want whats best for the club.
And don't forget that the players are fitter than ever.
Yes things aren't perfect, but I am convinced we can go to Love Street and get a win, and IF Brewster is willing to learn from the mistakes he made to day, we will give Aberdeen a decent game on the 21st.
Was it last week that most on here were fuming at Brewster for doing exactly that
Master of the counter attack I must have missed that
You don't go to many away games then, but I assure you he is.
(The away games comment is not a personal dig at you, it's just thats where its most on show).
