  1. Don Cowie has now been called up to the squad as has Kevin Mcnaughton. Haven't been paying attention to how Don's been doing this season but good to see him being recognised.
  2. Does anyone know if Bulvitus being out is tactical or is he carrying a knock (noticed he was wearing a knee support when he was warming up)? I'm really worried if we play with Tokely in the middle next week and Proctor at right back Ross County will hammer us. It's worrying that we don't really have any cover at the back.
  3. Phew, wasn't just me then. Thought he was really poor in the first half, a couple of times the ball came through to him and he just stood and watched it. He did improve in the second half though and I saw on Tuesday night what he is capable of. A few poor players today though. Thought Golly, Hayes and Rooney were the best players on the park today.
  4. "Or unless there is still a fixture backlog that cannot be fulfilled before the last day of the season. As of yet there are a number of fixtures in the backlog but the SFL dont appear to be in much of a hurry to re-arrange them. Are they hoping all except the SPL will get k.o'd today so there are some free saturdays before the season ends?" I thought the rearranged home game was Tuesday 30th of this month?
  5. I mentioned this in the thread about Sanchez. There's quite a few people sit round me that just moan constantly, I think it's what actually makes them happy. They were on Sanchezs' case for most of the game on Saturday, booing and shouting "get him off" every time he got the ball. Duncan was also a target for this abuse and is most times he plays. I've actually shouted that they're really not helping a players confidence but I just get dirty looks.

    Sanchez

I think he's a good player and the best playmaker we have. His lack of confidence at shooting is infuriating at the moment as twice today he had a good chance to score but passed it to someone else. However some of the booing and abuse from people around me was bang out of order, they were screaming for him to be subbed every time he had the ball, I'm sure that'll boost his confidence.
  7. I too tried to get a macaroni pie at 2.30 to be told they had run out as they only had six to start with. Hopefully from all the people asking for them they'll realise they're a better seller and order more in for the next game. Was pretty annoyed as no other veggi option to warm me up.
  8. Will Foran and Duncan definitely be missing next week? Both their reds were 2 yellows, thought it was straight reds that missed the next game is there not sometimes a weeks delay for 2 yellows or does it depend on points accumulated?
  9. Wow. I thought I'd been watching a different Barrowman with everyone saying he was rubbish today before seeing your reply. I thought he looked well up for it in the first half and made some great runs with the ball. Was really surprised he was hooked at half time and Duncan still on. I must admit I was calling for either Duncan or McBain to dome into the midfield and add some experience but Duncan was woeful. Agree with most other stuff that's been written though, defence and central midfield were terrible. I'm missing all of next months home games due to work, maybe a blessing in disguise!
  10. Oh God! Did anyone hear the team line up on the radio? They read out Proctor and Lionel in defence then I was in too much shock to hear the rest of the team. How on earth are we going to stop their all out attack team now? B)
  11. Who's that? Duncan Shearer?
  12. Brewster played Barrowman completely wrong. It's bad enough having to adjust to a leap of 2 divisions but then to have no supply no wonder he lost his confidence. I know it can be annoying watching him but some of the abuse he suffered at some games was uncalled for. Had a group behind me at one game that were shouting at him constantly for not running for balls at the other end of the pitch! So I hope when he's fit again we get behind him and he can start banging them in and show us why we bought him. I don't understand why so many people think Rooneys better, I've seen absolutely nothing from him in pre-season and the cup games to suggest he has any understanding of the game. Still I keep reminding myself of the last ginger striker we had that looked poor, suddenly he scored and never looked back, went on to be our best striker.
  13. Saw an advert in Tesco. ?6 to get in and another ?2 if you want to sit in the stand. You may need that ?2 as it's just started raining quite heavily here. Sorry, didn't see the price for kids getting in. The pies last time I went were good as they're supplied by McLeans the bakers.
  14. Henrik Larsson. Although our players managed to stop him scoring that night :020:
  15. Is anyone going along to the Elgin game? Two of us are going through as we only live in Forres and are starved of football! Does anyone know how much it will cost to get in?
  16. Oh god. I remember him playing once. A cup game against Ayr and thanks to some awful goalkeeping we were 3-0 down at half time. We then made a fantastic comeback and won 4-3. So I suppose really he contributed to a very memorable game
  17. Agree. I like Roy, mr dependable. I think the biggest problem is because he's left footed he keeps being played wide left and I don't really think he's a wide player. I think he plays best as the left central midfielder and has also looked good at left back. I'll be glad to see him again next season.
  18. There was paper and ballot boxes at the stadium at the Hamilton game. Well that's how I voted.
  19. I thought Rossco played well in central defence but we really missed his runs down the right side. Also Proctor is too wimpy in the back 4, especially in a relegation battle. He gets pushed off the ball too easily whereas Rossco doesn't. I do think it's worrying that our most attacking players seem to be the right and left back, we really need the midfield to help out.
  20. "Very strange sub by Butcher - replacing Morais with Barrowman" Morais was holding his hamstring and was limping a bit. Better to get him off and keep him for next week than knacker it. What a difference he made, when he went off no one could hold the ball up and that let ST Mingin back into the game. Can the man sat behind me please start supporting the team. Was getting really fed up of his tirade of abuse at Barrowman. He was expecting him to run forward, then out left, then out right, then tackle everyone.
  21. Sounds like Munro having a bad game too. Half of our defence having a nightmare is making me very very nervous
  22. "pavels was great. only one thing though, him and munro, and munro and esson, need to talk to each other more. too many times munro though pavels was going to get it, or vice versa, and esson not making a shout for munro to put it out for a corner and stuff." Butcher was screaming at them for a lot of the game to talk to each other and was moaning at mo that they weren't communicating, so yes, I think he'll be pointing this out to them. What I feel more confident about with Mo and Terry is they seem to see when there's a problem and do something about it, unlike when Brewster used to make no changes and keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again.
  23. Was it still Jim Leighton in goal when we played Aberdeen? He made a brilliant save at the end of the replay to stop us equalising.
  24. That'll be you walking to the game on Saturday!!! What I actually said was that we don't have any hot players unfortunately (sorry to any of them that might be reading this) I think it should be a priority to sign some in the summer
  25. I think you might be right. David Weir got sent off against us and he played yesterday.
