  1. Funnily enough, Robbo used the 'if you're good enough you're old enough' quote at the open meeting so maybe we'll see some of the youth team coming through. Noticed Mitch Foy was on the bench recently..
  2. Shame there are (probably) no Welsh speakers on the forum, maybe OFW was asked about his own situation..could have shed some light on things..!
  3. I would be more than happy to come away with a point from this one - 3 would be fantastic. Very hard fixture..
  4. Think Trafford is suspended for the Peterhead Irn-Bru cup tie & not the St Midden game..
  5. Well said, PumpFake...couldn't agree more! I'd go with your 1st line up, Eldson doesn't convince at all...could see Tremarco back in at left back, probably Chalmers on the bench?
  6. I'd rather the sensible young fans (the vast majority of them, I'm sure) would disassociate themselves from the numpties, or at least stop trying to justify their behaviour...easier said than done, I know, but needs to be done - the small 'Ned element' will ruin it for us all (and I don't mean just the younger fans). They need to realise that they are representing the club (especially at away games) and tbeir actions reflect on us all. Just behave, guys & stop justifying the behaviour of those that don't)..
  7. And I suppose dropping litter & damaging a fan is ok then? The club is for everybody, young & old! I really couldn't care less if the club alienates wee boys who think its a laugh to vandalise a bus...if they apologised for their actions, fair enough but doubt that'll happen somehow....
  8. Probably cheaper than the SFA fines the club would have to pay if they had done nothing....
  9. Well done to the club for posting this on the forum & glad to see an 'official' club presence on here - good way to keep in touch with the fans & keep us informed...
  10. After seeing the ICT youth team play Banks 'O Dee today, I can see why Danny MacDonald was waxing lyrical about the youths we have at the club - impressive & well organised performance today - hopefully the 1st team will be benefiting fairly soon!
  11. Decent goals for us, 2 howlers for the goals against though - something to work on in traning, methinks! A win is a win, though...
  12. Think it was 6-1...well done to the lads, entertaining & well organised display..
  13. Right on...! Why wouldn't we take the Irn-Bru cup seriously - lets go & win it! Wonder if we will get an away trip to Wales or Ireland...might be tempted to go, especially if it's Wales..
  14. There's a thought - play the Youths in the Youth cup...!
  15. Great performance from the youth team, definetly some prospects there!
  16. That's one of your arguments countered then...I'm glad Robbo played a full strength team today...considering we've a fairly new squad which hasn't quite gelled yet, we need as many competitive games as possible...
  17. Think we will have to agree to disagree on that....promotion is, of course, the main goal - you're 100% correct about that - but it's not a case of either/or - we should go out to win every game - success breeds confidence
  18. We should go with a view to winning every game, PumpFake - it doesn't matter who's out on the park in front of us, be it a friendly with Clach, Aberdeen u20s or Celtic 1st team...the mentality should be the same.
  19. Was not getting through to the next round a positive as well? Really don't get where you are coming from - we aren't a premiership club now (we'd be playing an under 20s team in the cup then), we are a championship club - deal with it. As for Ridgers - he isn't a child & I'm sure he will know if he's made a mistake for the goal...he should learn from that mistake (as he would if it had been a friendly).
  20. 100% agree with that - we have previously won this cup & I had a great day out at McDairmaid park - despite PumpFake wanting us to fail, I hope we can get a good run in the Irn-Bru cup &, who knows, win it! Happy omens if we did - last time we did, we won the league & promotion to the Premier (along with a Scottish Cup semi final) with a certain J Roberston in charge. ..
  21. Treat it as a friendly game then - no true fan would want us to lose, whatever the game.. If we did lose, can you imagine the negative press? Not to mention the confidence the team have had recently being destroyed! I don't really care who is in the Irn-Bru cup, we are a Championship club at the end of the day, same as the rest. Plus the fact, we wouldn't have had a game Today otherwise, due to the internationals! At least there won't be any flares or smokebombs going off today (hopefully)...
  22. Rubbish - even Sevco took it (kinda) seriously when they were in the lower leagues, did enjoy when our very own John Baird scored extra time winner against them for Raith in the final a few years ago..
  23. Good point, hope Seedorf's ankle injury isn't anything serious - we've been cursed by injuries since we won the cup!
