Time for a change in leadership

Time has come for change in leadership

Published: 22/12/2008

What follows is not an easy thing to write but to say anything else would be completely at odds with what I believe is the view of a large majority of Caley Thistle fans.It pains me to say it and I've never had to do it before when writing this column but the time for change has come.

Manager Craig Brewster does not seem to be able to lift this team and now it is time for somebody else to try.

Why did he not make changes at half-time when clearly things were not working? Why wait until the team is three goals down? It's really hard to figure out.

Inverness have no divine right to a place in the SPL and everything possible must be done to retain it.

David Sutherland is the chairman of the Caley Thistle Supporters' Trust

Well done David, at last we see it in the press. Maybe we'll see some action from the board now.

Yes, well done David for having the bottle to state the bleeding obvious.

Sadly however, will the other David Sutherland have the savvy to fully grasp the severity of our current predicament? He is an individual who likes (has) to win in business, so here's hoping his competitve streak hasn't deserted him.

Saturday's debacle surely proved there is simply no hope with CB in charge.
