I'm not sure what reelvance the SPL this has to the thread. Every big time in "a league" will drop points against lesser teams. See Espanyol beating Barcelona in La Liga this season and Madrids countless draws and defeats to lower half teams when Schuster was in charge. Lower league teams in Spain, Italy and France could rip up the SPL. Doesn't mean their leagues are fantastic and the fact that Soke and Middlesborough could do likewise doesn't mean anything really. Unless of course you are comparing the SPL to the EPL!

Some of the games on MotD on Saturday night involving Blackburn, Hull etc. were mind numbing.

Last night's game at Annfield was exciting right enough but I'm not sure about the quality. There was some rank bad defending on both sides.
